Update: just checked in for my upcoming MSC cruise, before I checked in they assigned me arrival time, and once I start the checking process, I have the option to choose the arrival time from 9:30 to 3:30
I don't understand why they have you register a credit card if you still have to go to one of their machines on board to activate a card for on board payment.
I couldn't get my passport to scan either, also couldn't get the darn credit card to add. I kept getting an error message on the credit card when I attempted to add it. I see the CC isn't a mandatory field, so I'm not that concerned, but it was annoying that I can't do it ahead of time. I really wanted to avoid another stop on the ship when I embark. Thank you for the video, it was helpful to know what the app will do after my group completes their check-in. This will be my first cruise, and I'm a little anxious about all the unknowns. Thanks again!
Absolutely! So glad the video helped some! I'm sorry the process hasn't been the smoothest. MSC's App is definitely not our favorite cruise app we have used. I know it all seems a bit overwhelming but try to not sweat the small stuff, just make sure you have your travel documents and all will be well! We hope you have a great time!
