I have been rewiring a trailer when I watched this video. I’ll be putting in a new floor in a few years after that. I heard you mention trying to make those trigger wires harder for the raccoons to chew them. I use flexible conduit for all my exposed wires for my cameras and feeders solar panels. Just thought I’d share.

I am rebuilding my sons racecar trailer. I found some 30inch wide galvanized grading. Gonna weld it down. Should be there awhile. But yes too dam hot. 104 here in south Louisiana!

Should’ve cut the rear angle iron! Shove in new boards weld it back! Add carriage bolts to braces and done

try running the wire through a piece of pvc pipe, that way they won't be able to get to it. just a idea.

I got a trailer that I just ripped the floor out of and re-painted. I need to re-wire it and put the new floor in but it’s been so dad gum hot I just dread doing it. Enjoyed it. Y’all have a good-un!

Hollis Farms they make a rat proof wrap to go on those exposed wires. We use it at work. Unfortunately I’m not sure where it comes from. Good luck with the coin trapping.

The rear angle iron back by the ramp unbolts for easy board removal on my 16' and 14' trailers. Makers it real easy to refloor.

I think you will be better off going back with the wood. Maybe put a little used motor oil on it to help seal it
