To do this job a little easier and also ensure the lugs fully seat, it's best to use open-end lug nuts and an open end wrench (or a deep well socket with a ratchet). Also, use a little bit of grease on the stud. Stacked washers can be used in lieu of a larger nut as well.
Did a variation of this but I did it without removing the caliper. I used 6 washers from the home Depot and replaced all 5 wheel studs
cool video. iv got a 95. this should help buddy
Thanks mate!
Orale thanks for the tip! It worked perfectly.
Freeze the stud first then put vegetable oil on it. Freezing it will shrink it. Making this much easier
You’re a goddamn genius
Not all dodge ram 1500's are the same. The year of the vehicle matters if this video applies to the viewers vehicle.
Why are the 2020's so fuking hard to replace?
Did they think that the 2017 to 2019 were to easy so they had to change it?
Stuck In The From riplace
Very helpful! We have a 98 Ram 1500 that needed lugnut replacement, now I know we can do it ourselves. Thanks!
