Minecraft had the same vibe. Behind every block was a mysterious mystery whether it be herobrine or a structure that creeped me out
Yeah. Years ago I watched this proof video but looking back on it it was obviously fake. It was on a superflat world which you can only get certain items by creative mode. There was probably a 3rd person online doing the Herobrine shit
Minecraft single player still gives me this weird vibes

It's crazy how much one could mature over time.
I didn’t really know about creepypastas up until about 3 months ago. Plus, the only creepypasta I actually liked was The Backrooms. It is just such an interesting concept, and the idea of just randomly “noclipping” into an alternate dimension and possibly never going back to the real world is just terrifying to me. Hence, which is why I love The Backrooms so much.
You should see the Ben Drowned creepypasta. It’s really great, trust me
I wonder when god is going to patch the real world so that we dont noclip anytime soon
@@kevoelevo88 I’ve seen that one before. Some guy has some save file named “Ben” on some Zelda game and it shows a creepy character at some point in the game.

Oh man, I love that detail of the gaming chair looking like a suited figure after a bit at the end. Amazing detail!
It's almost scary how relatable the fragment with Doge searching whether the creepypasta is real or not fragment is. I remember being borderline traumatized by SCP because my dumb 11 year old self thought the organization was real. When I looked at SCP-096's realistic pictures (basically fanart bruh) on Google out of curiosity I felt the shy guy was going to get me in the next few hours and I just laid on the bed, feeling weirdly dealt with the situation, thinking: 'Welp, that's it. I lived a good life. I guess I'll die soon. Oh well. It was my fault.'
Then nobody came and in the next few days, all this horror and fear, I just... i forgor💀

I had a hard time sleeping for a while after learning of Jeff the Killer. That image was burned into my brain.
I seen it for the first time staying over at my cousin's house, sleeping on the couch alone

bro this and I remember CORPSE HUSBAND’s dark web stories before he got all clouted would terrify me in middle school. I remember every time I would see his thumbnails, I would instantly go watch cartoons or sum shi😂
That whole bed-sequence was so relatable. My creepypasta-input was mostly from watching my family play horror video games (Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill, etc), so that really had quite an impact, and I would just sometimes lie in my bed and sort of whisper weird negotiations to this entity that may or may not be in my room/just outside it, as if trying to show some mental upper-hand that I had against it. Fun times indeed(...)
I think I do that nowadays

Yes, I remember laying in bed, staring at the wall, talking to the imaginary thing that was right behind me, but out of my vision.

Creepypasta's really scared me as a child. or anything scary in general as specially slenderman. Because he targets kids it really scared me.
Wow, this is great! How did you make it so authentic?
There are two disturbing creepypastas that stuck with me. First is about an evil guy doing stuff to underage (yes, that.) Which ends with the perpetrator gets what he deserved. But the only part which the author goes in much details is the act itself, which almost made it a very inappropriate smut. Think of it what you will.
The second one is about supernatural goblins keeping a woman captive in her newly bought house and made her pregnant with goblin babies. I saw similar stuff somewhere else, except it's japanese and it wasn't called creepypasta.
I got into creepypastas due to a weird incident that involved two teenagers trying to "hurt" their best friend as a sacrifice to slenderman and thankfully they failed. That and a series called "bad creepypastas" which involved a bunch of collage kid wanting to become English teachers reading these stories. god I felt bad for them
