What are you torquing the installer hold down to?. and you're inserting the installer tip all the way passed the tip of the cup before removing correct.?
The installer tool he used on the video are the updated version. The one you refering to is the outdated style where the tip goes up. The new version the installer work by pushing down the tip rather pushes up.
What happens if you dont put the Extreme pressure lubricant or the graphite paste? I heard that the graphite paste shouldnt be put on the injectors anymore and isnt neccassary. The pink sealent is the only paste neccassary for installation
No you still have to use the graphite paste. The reason being is that it lubricates the swedge tip as it spreads the tip of the cup to make the seal in the bore and if you done use the paste ot wears down the swedge
Just don’t buy any Volvo engine....injectors fails over and over again. Buy a Volvo with Cummins is the answer. Also their warranty of 1 year at dealership is a big lie....always they gonna find an excuse to avoid paying for their crap engines.

60 ft lbs is the torque on that bolt.
