Did you know that Thinkin' Bout Me is still in the Spotify Top 50? Yes, really. And it'll probably be there forever too. Don't know why when so many people are in a situation where they can listen to almost any song in the world for completely free and just as easily as every other song, they pick that as one of their choices to spend over a year on that chart over any other piece of music like Good Thing by Reel Big Fish too. Point is that it's not a song that stuck around because of radio play and nothing else. People actually wanted to listen to it. My Love Mine All Mine is also still in that chart, and that's W.
Interesting ... it's one of my favorites from the album as well (and I mean, I'm just a sucker for fairy tale references in general, so I was pretty much bound to like it), but I'd still call We Don't Trust You my favorite from the album over it, if only because the production might be the best thing Metro Boomin has ever done, the play on Metro Boomin's famous tagline is a lot of fun, and petty me delights in the shots fired at Drake. The album's excellent in general in my view, and I really hope its tracks (especially the fantastic tracks on the first half - I do feel that the last few tracks weren't as impressive and that the project is kind of dragging towards the end. They could've cut it at Ain't No Love to have a shorter but more pointed and consistently amazing project in my book.) survive the Beyoncé album bomb.

Honestly, I don't know if my adoration of Future and Metro Boomin's current chart presence amounts to Metro Boomin just being one of my all-time favorite producers, a rapper that I feel many people have dismissed in a bit of a close-minded manner getting the kind of success and acclaim he deserves with some really strong flows and pointed jabs, or petty glee at seeing Drake take blow after blow. Probably a bit of all three. We Don't Trust You, though I doubt that it's actually gonna stick around and become a bona-fide hit, is genuinely one of the best things I've heard all year and arguably the best beat Metro Boomin has ever made.

You're not wrong about "So American" being a weaker song but it does make for kind of a poignant closer to the deluxe version of the album - after all the angst and heartbreak and self-destructive chaos throughout the album, her finally finding a healthy relationship that excites her is a nice happy ending. Kind of like what "Mastermind" served as on Midnights - the artist finally finding some peace.

Honestly, I don't know if my adoration of Future and Metro Boomin's current chart presence amounts to Metro Boomin just being one of my all-time favorite producers, a rapper that I feel many people have dismissed in a bit of a close-minded manner getting the kind of success and acclaim he deserves with some really strong flows and pointed jabs, or petty glee at seeing Drake take blow after blow. Probably a bit of all three. We Don't Trust You, though I doubt that it's actually gonna stick around and become a bona-fide hit, is genuinely one of the best things I've heard all year and arguably the best beat Metro Boomin has ever made.

Is It Over Now? is probably going to go recurrent next week with the Beyonce album bomb. Since The Tortured Poets Department is coming out in two weeks anyway, and the song will definitely make the year-end list, I'm ok with it exiting. It's done incredibly well for a vault track.
Shakira's album is good overall. Not sure what people are talking about.
You're not wrong about "So American" being a weaker song but it does make for kind of a poignant closer to the deluxe version of the album - after all the angst and heartbreak and self-destructive chaos throughout the album, her finally finding a healthy relationship that excites her is a nice happy ending. Kind of like what "Mastermind" served as on Midnights - the artist finally finding some peace.

WOTW1: Best For Me- I like Jelly Roll but why in the Nine hells did they make his Voice sounds so Chipmunked, It's really bad
WOTW2: La People II- again the topic drug trafficking in songs like this bother me and Plus it sounds very generic
WOTW3: Slow It Down- This guy can not do a falsetto why are they making him do that
DM1: Corazon de Piedra- The Spanish Guitar sounds so messy, the acoustic sound really rough
DM2: Slimed In- Bland
DM3: Type S***- This is boring s***
DM3: Ice Attack- Future on Codine, I thought he wasn't doing that, I don't like this
HM: Cinderella- This is OK
BOTW1: Punteria- Disappointed we didn't get Shakira album bomb, but I'm happy this song charted, also the new album is great vast improvement from El Dorado
BOTW2: I like the way you kiss me- ooooo, I like this synthpop production, I might check out more from Artemis.
BOTW3: All New Olivia Rodrigo songs- This are fantastic sounds I'm glad they were release
BOTW4: Young Metro- Now this song goes hard
BOTW5: We don't Trust You- A very strong album opener
BOTW6: All 3 New Hozier Songs- This is very strong EP, I'm glad Hozier is getting this large chart traction
BOTW7: Like That- Very hard production this is really great

He's Good. Was impressed by his vocals especially when i heard him on tiktok with beautiful things. Then i listened to the whole song and was totally disappointed. lol tiktok really blowing up unworthy songs with catchy hooks
On a surface level, I 'get' Benson Boone. I just don't like much of his music, at all.
