As ALWAYS, I marvel at the gorgeous scenery you encounter, on your adventures. Not only do we learn new things, but we witness so much beauty. Though I have never been on a fishing trip, I realize it is a passion of so many people. At least they were going to consume the trout. I have a friend who enjoys the process of fishing, but always throws the fish back in the water, immediately.🙃 Well, it looks like Kellie's chocolate chip cookies garnered new fans.🍪🍪😋 This was so relaxing, and enjoyable, Doug. I come away entertained by the content, the gorgeous views, the serenity, and what I've learned that I never knew before. Thank you, so very much, Doug...another winner... There's something about the sound, and the power of rushing, gushing water that mesmerizes me.🤔🤗

Hi Rhonda! Happy you enjoyed the scenery and our adventure. Many fisherman do "catch and release," the ones who enjoy the fishing experience and revere the older bigger fish....it is as if they take pleasure in letting someone else catch the big fish another day. Also, some are fishing as an excuse to get out in nature all day. Who can blame them? Then again, being able to catch a fish to eat is a good skill to have especially these days of high food prices. The area is so pretty near June Lake all one has to do is point one's camera lens in the clean clear air and viola; a masterpiece! Kellie is an amazing cook; fare that is healthy and includes good taste. The American Dipper is the resident of all the clear unspoiled western creeks. When you see one of these birds you know that the water is not polluted because these birds require cool clean water 🌊. Always nice to read your comments. Heads up Rhonda; we should be heading up to the mountains more as the desert is starting to heat up for the summer. 💙🍪🇺🇸

@@CalNeva Thanks so much for the explanations about fishing. I never though of the WHYS, people fish before.🤔👏🏻 I love your comment about pointing the camera lens. It certainly is true.🌞 Yes, it's an art to make foods so tasty, and also healthy, as Kellie does.😁👏🏻 I don't know if I had ever even heard of the American Dipper. That's fascinating, Doug. Wherever you take us, I KNOW we'll be thrilled... ⛰️ I can imagine that the desert is heating up.☀️ Thanks as always, Doug.🌞🤗👏🏻😃

Nice relaxing and cool video, maybe a little too cool for Kellie at first. I see even the ducks love Kellie's cookies 🍪 !
I'm glad you pointed out the Water Ouzel, I was actually looking for one in that scene, but I don't think I would have spotted him, he really blended in. I think they are fun to watch. Loved the butterfly and the flowers too.

Kelly does not fish? 3 day pass for California is expensive for Out of Stater's like you guys. FYI Bread is bad for ducks June Lake & Mammoth area are in Mono County. I forget the guy but he crashed above June Lake area a few years ago & was a year or 2 before someone came across his plane & body.
