I tried the shampoo and conditioner as well and really liked them! My conditioner has a lot slip, probably because I said I have dry medium-coarse hair. I need to try that mask and leave in next! 😍
That makes sense! I figured it was because of my selections! Too bad we can’t mix and match our needs to the specific product 😆 the mask imo is in my top 5 of masks I’ve used!!! I’d be curious to know of course how that translates for others with different formulations!

Love your hair. I did get their shampoo and so far am enjoying it. I was afraid to get the leave in because I have wavy hair so am always hesitant to use a leave in. But your hair looks fantastic! Hope you are feeling better.

Thank you so so much for this review! I would love an update 3 months from now when you get your next order to see how much product you have left in this order that you just got and if you decide to change the formula of your conditioner for more slip. Also can you break down your ingredients since you said you wanted your hair strengthened that usually means protein, I cannot have tons of protein in my hair so I'm a little nervous on selecting that option I plan on getting this next year for my birthday once I'm done with all the backstock of shampoo and conditioner that I have lol

I just ordered my first set and I’m excited to try. I’m worried because it’s definitely waaay more expensive than my usual shampoo and conditioner, but hopefully will be worth it. I wish the price was more consistent for the different sizes though. I wanted to get the 8oz shampoo and 16oz conditioner, since I use waaaay more conditioner than I do shampoo, but also felt like I was ripping myself off by not getting the same size set 😟😳

I am a new subscriber I like your videos I've watched it two or three of them I recently switched to the Cantu products and I'm liking it but I'm always really wondering why using so many products at one time for so many different things It's like you want just one product that does it all because my hair always feels so caked on but I'm liking the results of my curly hair It's fine and curly and it's medium curl. Thank you for the videos and the instructions you give I appreciate them
Thanks for your demo. I also did not like that they would not allow me to see the ingredients before I paid, so I refused! There are other customizable shampoos and conditioners that do let you see ingredients before you pay. I have been using and loving uncle funkys daughter gel on my super fine wavy hair. I have seen it around for a long and finally decided to try it. I am getting great coils which I don't usually get.
It's really inexpensive also. I am very happy about this product! I just wanted to share with everyone about it.
I totally agree! I actually considered ordering in the past but didn’t because I couldn’t see ingredients. If it weren’t for the sake of research haha I probably wouldn’t have purchased. It did work out in my favor and that I’m happy for however!

I’ve been wondering if these products might be worth it. I like the option of unscented since since I get migraines.
Also my greys are really coarse and have a tighter curl pattern. I appreciate you talking about your greys.
My greys in some regards are the focus of my hair care now so its important to see how they do. They offer dye free, fragrance free + silicone free options!
I have FoB too, in a different formulation if you have any questions.
Oh, and I have 3b/3c curls with thin hair, normal scalp, and normal density.
Honestly my hair has completely transformed since using these products. It even fixed my split ends.
I ordered Function of Beauty a few months ago and I really love it 🙂. I feel like it really does do what the survey tailored it to do. Super expensive for me because I'm in NZ (ugh shipping), but the large bottle last so long!

@@shessupersalty I thought it was good at the start, but I don't think I'd buy it again. I find it is a bit drying, which I guess would be addressed by the selections I make, but it's just super expensive to me and doesn't really seem worth it. I'm basically just using it now and then to try and use it all up and not waste it.
Do you condition every day you wet your hair even if you don't wash it? I just started with function of beauty, I just got their shampoo and conditioner (just in case I didn't like it) and am 2 washes in and I love it! I'm definitely wanting to go get their leave in after this video on my next order.

Hi! I know I’m late but I was wondering if it would make a difference whether I get a silicone free based formula for my FOB shampoo and conditioner. I have a friend who uses silicone and has not seen any negative side effects but everybody I watch gives the advice to avoid silicone. I have type 2b/2c hair and I’m currently in a transitioning hair journey
I just got function of beauty shampoo and conditioner from Target. I am thinking of reviewing it myself. It is slightly cheaper way of buying the products.
I have FoB with the silicones and other helpful ingredients, if anyone has questions about them.
My gray hairs do the same thing!

I love the function of beauty products. By the way only the shampoo and conditioner are silicone free all the other products do have silicones they mention it on their website. Perhaps they will change it in the future 🙂

I enjoyed the smell, subtle lavender and with the medium scent choice it wasnt over powering at all. I didn't notice it much without intentionally trying to!

Looking at their site... it mentions that the deep conditioner and leave-in may also contain silicones! (It says so, at the header by the word “treatments”) Or am I reading that wrong? (Can’t seem to find any ingredients lists.)
I was wondering this as well. I’ve avoided ordering because I couldn’t tell if the mask and leave-in had silicones even if I chose no silicones.
@@jacquelinecampbell3167 I chose “no silicones” when I did the quiz... and it still offered the leave-in and mask, but mentioned that they may contain silicone (in parentheses) up top.
Can you update how they handled the serum you didn't receive? Did they give you a refund?
