This is what I wanted starfield to be from the start.
I'm a huge fan of the base game. I started a new playthrough a few months ago, married Andreja specifically for this sank about 90 hours in, setting up for the DLC.... It absolutely would not trigger the quest no matter where I went.... I had to load up my last character, ng+4, who's motives and personality I completely forgot, and I'm dealing with an apocalyptic level of crashes and bugs on series x.... Bethesda, you motherfuckers, I've been such a die hard fan and defender of this game, and your being ruder than everyone on Dazra combined, do better.
I got very lucky with bugs, because no issues whatsoever so far.

It was my first time watching one of your videos, and I wanna say this was a great review. Wont be able to play the dlc until Wednesday and was looking for something to give me an idea of what people were thinking without getting anything spoiled.
It was a really good story based dlc , but we have to rev 8 our way into the next dlcs, every dlc must include new vehicle official from Bethesda,new parts for ship , outpost, and should add atleast one variety of new poi to the base game , take as much as time you would like to make the next dlc but above all must be included as players expect it from you
Choices? You can’t even start the dlc if you decline to be a part of the cult. Maybe I play too much Baulders Gate 3. But maybe there’s a reason why I play BG3 more than I ever play starfield. I put over 60 hours in a single playthrough in BG3. It’s almost a $1 and hour. But for $30 and 10 hours of gameplay? With no replay value? Why would anyone buy this.
You can be "part" but completely tell them to f off with their dumb cult shit if you want. Or you can go all in and be a full on serpent sucker

None of my mods broke. Though i only had simple replacers and a resources=0 weight. DLC started when I cleared my bounties and jumped to a star with no active missions. Its good so far. interesting stories in the side quests too

Gr8 review! Loved the base game since its pros easily outweighed its cons and I am excited to play this DLC soon.
I’m starting my first playthrough. If I buy the dlc now can I delay when it launches in game? Does the opening of the dlc just add it as a quest and ignore it until I’m 35?

Buy Phantom Liberty instead. This dlc is way overpriced for what it is.
It makes no sense to play in 40fps mode when you have a 120hz VRR screen. Play it in 60fps visuals mode instead: the game will mostly run around 40fps but you will also benefit from higher frame rates (especially in inside environments).
Bec cautious though because not all Vrr compatible displays have Vrr below 60

DLC just wouldn’t trigger for me yesterday with both game and DLC updates, this morning it’s working on both pre and post Unity saves even without the supposed requirement of having completed One Small Step…..
@redaelonyoutube You have to clear all bounties, and jump to a starsystem that has no missions active. Hope that works
Tons of bugs. Especially when talking with main story NPCs where they only say the first word of the dialogue resets and have to load previous saves. TBH I think it's very boring and limited. Playing on a Series X and choppy frame rate on both graphical and performance settings.
Boohoo. I play games and am never happy. In fact they make me miserable. And then I try to make others miserable. Just like video games are supposed to make us feel.
This game is awesome and it just got better if you hate this game good for you. There are more people that are having a good time with it.

I just beat starfield the beginning was awful but later on it got amazing. Once You started working with the crimson fleet.
How far in is that and have they fixed many of the launch issues?
@@AnomieDomine I only had 1 crash on my xbox ss. I would say about 8 hrs in. It seems a lot of the issues are gone I didn't know notice any major ones.

Its on cloud gaming. But only the base game is included with gamepass. all DLC is paid

everything was running fine and the visals were top notch then i did the Mantis mission and my gfx have gone back to what they were before the uograde to gfx does anyone know what going on im on the xbx series s

You guys gave Starfield a 9.7. I don’t think this review has a lot of credibility after that.
Many channels gave it a 9 and 10, hell every ign from different countries gave it 9.5s and 10s... Only the ps biased critics gave it 6s and 7s😂

200 Hours. Rating 8.5-9.0. For me Goty 2023 ❤
@@jolynerocky I’ve put about 170, I gave it an 8.5. There’s way too much going on in that game, genuinely hard to get bored

Shattered Space reminded me of how much I actually love Starfield. It’s just the toxic discourse surrounding it that made me forget about it.
This should win Best Art Direction of 2024 hands down. I started as a Starborn NG+ so couldn’t take Andreja with me 🤧 Maybe in NG++ I’ll do the DLC again is that possible?
Have they turned the base around since launch like NMS or Cyberpunk or did they just slap a couple bug fixes on and sell us expensive dlc?
