The final round of The 2021 Game Of Bike Championship features two of the most original styled BMX riders in the world Matty Cranmer vs @jaydalton and this game was down to the wire with back and forth action between the two! It would be so easy for Jay to play dirty if he wanted to. He has so many weird tricks/combos no one else does.
That's the thing about G.O.B. isn't it? It's about winning in a way that isn't totally BM, by pushing your opponents to their limits but not way beyond their limits. That's how you earn each other's respect and drive the sport forward.
They're all friends. If this was an olympic event I'm sure they would blow everyone's minds, respectfully of course.

Totally true, but a bit weird, as that’s Marty’s forte also, and Spencer’s at that.
Either one of them could’ve gone nuts but like you said, not playing “dirty.” My honest opinion.
Fun stuff......I can't ride every day with my buddies like I used to, but dang, it's really nice to watch one of Scotty's vids and see the boys light it up. I miss the endless summers where it felt like we would literally bike 24 hours a day...

this championship really goes to show it's not just about having a deep bag of tricks and being creative with them, but also knowing your opponent and getting into their head. amazing series, let's make this olympic!
It's definitely about being strategic. You can set a banger but most likely the other rider has it too. You set a 360 one hander lander and you can completely shut down the other guy. I can honestly say after 15 years of riding I've never landed one handed intentionally.
@@neonnerd1364 for sure. who knows that jay dalton of all people struggles with one handers? matty, that's who, hence the golden mailbox. i'm deadly serious, with a little polishing this format can go all the way to x-games and beyond.
Jay is so crazy talented AND he's got a heart of gold. Imagine if he were a "killer".

Cranmer brothers are some of the best in bmx, not only riding but just being involved in bmx and inventing new things, giving people online tons of content for years etc. you guys are the best, the whole crew

I think switching skateparks kinda kills the momentum of the game sometimes. The guys can't stay in the zone.

They whole crew in this GOB run was great! They’re all such beasts and have progressed so much over the few years I’ve watched not only this channel, but Spencer and Jay’s as well. Everyone could’ve pulled ridiculous tricks to get easy letters, but they all played admirably and kept it fun.

This was such a good battle. Matty and jay were pushing each others buttons and really setting some interesting tricks. So cool to watch.
The real champion in this is Scotty. The fact this dude has overcome everything since his injury and is still putting out, not only quality, but creative and original content. He just doesn’t miss. It’s awesome to see him do all of this with his little brother too. You are an actually role model Scotty and as a 24 year old man, I really do look up to you.

You didn't learn a trick (meaning having it in your list) if you can't pull them consistently.

Matty it is definitely a good Rider but nowhere near one of the best, obviously you have a crush on him, but BMX is so cool because everybody fits in, obviously you're not straight but that's what's cool about BMX is the diversity, but yes Mattie is definitely a good Rider and seems like he's getting better every year
