You need balls of steel and reactions of a fly to drive something like this. I'd be constantly worried about it losing control, correcting it along with the little protection that's given. Hope the owner drives safe 👍
I've had the opportunity to drive three others- one was a sort of daily driver, easy, spirited after the Honda Civic the motor came from but not wild. the other two were built to exploit the very low weight the design makes possible. Monstrous and more monstrous would be my call- and as addictive as the other speed! They are the most "alive" thing I have ever driven in my life- it literally vibrates and bellows and dances when you get brisk with it. It tells you every step that you can get badly bitten if you go to far!
After about 150hp they get very twitchy in the wet. That's already quite a high hp/ton for a road car and they don't have much weight over the rear wheels.
Well driving without a helmet is just asking for problems.
This looks like too much fun.
Met a couple of these dudes in my time, proper car nerd, a rare breed, will teach you more than just car stuff!!

I enjoy watching Jamie's content your can tell he puts a lot of effort in editing his videos. My favorite video on this channel will always be the black convertible Porsche.
The fear on Jamie's face. Felt a bit scared for him when pulling out and can't touch the brake. When I drove a Westfield was a great car to drive this with 300bhp would be another level
Westfield did a 3.9 litre Rover V8 powered model... even with only 190bhp, it had enough mid-range torque to be seriously scary, and you can go up in displacement from there if you're mad enough. Then there was the Caterham Levante, which had a superbike-derived 2.4-litre V8 with a Rotrex supercharger, making 550bhp, in a car weighing 520kg... 1075bhp/ton!

Great video that thing is super fast, my mate years ago had a Dutton kit car so I know the feeling of that rush when your in it it's mental, his was running a 1600 cross flow engine not as quick as this but still bloody quick 👍

New to the channel - Dutton S2 owner from the '80's (herald double wishbones were the biz - and overbored +60's in a 7-11M block, with a four branch manifold and twin Webbers were all it took to be cool), well now I'm old and a bit better off so I want another - but when Mr Presenter started driving I found myself remembering Hammond and the Jet Car... Awesome car, cool owner and I loved the presenter guy's enthusiasm. Great stuff :-)
