Dude i get that. everytime i got to Maine i drive by my grandparents old place in cumberland, ME and i get feelings. not in nova scotia but I get it, alot of things, christmas, thanksgiving, 4th of july, summertime, fishing, the beach, walks through the woods, no matter where you go no matter what happens, always a little part of you is still there.
Love seeing the off grid cabin! You should include more videos of you working in your videos kinda like letsdig18, strap some go pros on running chain saws and what not! Keep up the great content
Great trip to the cabin..I knew it had been quite a while since you filmed there but know it will be great when it's done. Truly hard to make time when you are the business owner and so hands on. Hopefully you can find some time in the spring or maybe a snow day and get back to it. Appreciate you sharing your day with us. Wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and you new year is blessed with continued success.😇🎄⛄🔔
You got lucky with the way the trees fell. Glad you didn't have more across the road. That impulse buy is going to cost you. It's really cute the first hundred times and then the cost to your sanity kicks in. That's why most parents learn to buy quiet toys. Bauer is looking cute as usual. Glad to see your cabin made it through the storm.
Ah, insulation! I just installed 202 R30 bats in my attic, plus R21 for the end walls. Thousands of staples. I am so happy to be done with that. Looks like a great place. Very solid looking structure.
What a lovely little boy you have there.. just don't forget to "forget" buying spare batteries for Rudolph ;) I love the camp and as long as you can be warm & dry the rest can wait. Like you say time is a precious commodity especially when you're self employed. All the best to you and your family x
If you had someone to run your business for you full time it would probably be a full-time job just keeping up with all your properties ! That seems to be a job that never ends.
Bauer is precious...your such a good Dad... Rudolph is too cute with him...good impulse buy... The cottage looks great . your Dad's place looks good...so glad the hurricane didn't leave any serious damage...thanks so much for sharing...inspite of the weather...it was great to see ..stay safe...
Absolutely beautiful considering you have been away from it for 6 months you have a lot to do but minor stuff really. Have a beautiful rest of the day even though it's rainy you're blessed with your son and that's great
Surprising that there wasn't many signs of mice in the cabin. Although my experience has been that some years are worse than other for mouse infestation. The same could be said about squirrels or chipmunks...it always seems like a battle for ownership around here lol. But I plan on planting some mint around my house along with getting some mint oil to place around suspected entry points to see if that will help.
Pop a couple cameras on the place so you can keep an eye on the place. It looks good. Finding time is the hardest thing to do with kids and a business.
This is the first time I've seen this cabin! Did you build it? I love the other cabin you got last year but seeing you work on this one might make it better. Do you have any other videos on this one?
Yep me and my father built it. Small amount of help along the way. Yeah there’s a few but this was before I started UA-cam really so no videos of the process unfortunately
Great place! But now that you’ve got that “Swiss cottage” you don’t need this place. Fix this one up and sell it. Someone will snatch it up in a hot minute!
at first i was thinking that i never saw this place until I saw it.. Yup! I remember. Are you going to keep it with the other cabin? And! i loved and was singing Rudolf!!! Enjoy your time with him. Tomorrow he will be 30! Trust me..
It looks like you got lucky since you didn't have all that much to clear on your road into the cabin. I'm guessing it took a little bit longer to clear than you showed in the video though.
Hey bud. I'm not too far from you and offer mini excavation and trucking but often things are too heavy for my gear they want moved so wondering if you mind me passing your info to them. If that's cool can you message me your # or email contact info?
@workplaytv not sure if you got email as said wasn't able to send but if you add trucking to my name my # should pop right up and you could text me # to forward to people.

"Wow"' you guys are really a power couple/family!! You two have done so much with your young lives. Keep up the great work and enjoy every moment!!!

Good video brother. Glad to see the cabins made it. Bauer the boss. I can see you and Bauer having a father and son trips to cabin / fishing
Glad the cabin made out ok. Fiona was no joke as you know. Your so lucky no damage. What a beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing👍❤️

Wow, Fiona wreaked havoc but glad to see not as much damage on your place. With all the work you have on your plate, sounds like you need a twin! 😂

It's always fun when you bring Bauer along. He is growing so fast. The view from the camp is awesome. Thank you for a great video.

I am happy to see that NS is as usual after Ian, sort of. Lovely little son!

Can't wait to see the house, cabin when it's done ..
That will be a nice get away place when you have the time to finish the inside of the house. Blessings from Mississippi
I think so too!
Love seeing the videos again! I’ve missed them. Hope you’re doing well
How sweet! Bauer and his reindeer..
G'day mate. Glad to see everything is ok at the cabin. Nice to see you & the boss on a day out together. Hello from Australia. Take care buddy.
Your son is so damn cute! Enjoy it, they grow up way too fast. Cool cabin and what a beautiful area. I'm glad all is okay.
Honestly I’m truly amazed that truck is still alive after what I’ve seen it gone through in the videos through the years 😮 Your kids a Riot 😂!
Your take action vibe is so inspiring.
Your cabin is amazing, what a great place you have 😊👍🌹
As long as Bauer is asleep in the backseat, does that mean you get to put Rudolph up in the front seat so you can play the music ? 😏
Just seen a RC Digger at a local Supermarket, immediately made me think of you and your Son
Lol
Oh yeah!!!
Your son seems like he will be a future engineer ❤
Absolutely beautiful considering you have been away from it for 6 months you have a lot to do but minor stuff really. Have a beautiful rest of the day even though it's rainy you're blessed with your son and that's great
Workplaytv your utube videos awesome 👌 👏 👍
Have a great weekend
Ruldolph is the best another great video
Really good video.... no naps for you

I think you will fondly remember that rraindeer for years to come.

You have to jack the house up to fix that...I missed the build. No footings?
Your right. No footings just concrete blocks

What's the name of your lake ? I used to live in Annapolis Valley back in 1966 and part of 1968? Just wondering were you are?
This is closer to Halifax’s
at first i was thinking that i never saw this place until I saw it.. Yup! I remember. Are you going to keep it with the other cabin? And! i loved and was singing Rudolf!!! Enjoy your time with him. Tomorrow he will be 30! Trust me..
Hahaha oh yeah never selling this!
I don't know how you juggle all the projects you have to do? I feel overwhelmed for you.
Wow I thought there was going to be more trees but not that bad man nice
Could you maybe powerwash or sand the shed then stain it vs having to paint it?
Oh yeah that would be an option
Love your son, he’s close to my sons age so I can relate😂
Did you buck up that windfall you first came across blocking me road?
Oh yeah
Hey man how come your selling the f450?
I have it listed but don’t care if I sell it. Prob sell a dually now that I have the tandem to be able to haul machines as well.
Would it not be worth putting some contractors onto the cabin to finish is if your too busy would love a place to escape like that
Hard to get guys to go back there
@workplaytv yeah that makes sens not enough hours in the week to cover all your adventures haha
It looks like you got lucky since you didn't have all that much to clear on your road into the cabin.
I'm guessing it took a little bit longer to clear than you showed in the video though.
you could always hire me to live in it for you lol, how far from Windsor is it? hahaha
Lol. About an hour I’d say
You just said it. This is your cabin..
Workplaytv you and your wife should think about getting 🤔 your ham license 🤔
So if I'm understanding you right at the end of this video, you're getting a man cave!!!!!!😄
Hahahaha
Was this always 2 story?
Yup
This is not your cottage?
Sorry Fiona!
No saw
What?
@@workplaytv I thought you'd have a saw in the truck to cut that tree out of the way I saw it later in the shed with the generator
@@l0n3d4nger4 I had a saw in the truck and used it on the way in
You have a lot of interruptions in your videos, lots of advertisements
