Water is just so destructive it’s crazy what it can do. My buddies place up in Vermont same story house is fine but all the roads are washed out. No access glad to see you guys are good and busy
It's freaky seeing the water so high in the lake and flowing across the drive at the cabin. Vermont got hit like this a few weeks ago. Lots of roads out and dams damaged, driveways washed away, cities flooded. Huge damage. Even the top of the concrete dam at Quechee seems to have been broken off. It's just for cosmetic reasons these days, the mill no longer runs. It's lucky you weren't a little lower, and you obviously did a great job of the drain upgrade. The Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico are so warm now, they may have broken the all time sea surface temperature record at the southern end of Florida. 101.1F in Manatee Bay. That warm water starts the storms that come up our coast and give us these massive storms.
Hello, it's scary to so much water coming at one time, glad you all are safe, and that your propertys don't get any big damage, have a great day my friend 😊👍🌹
In eastern Kansas 4 years ago, we had 16 inches in 3 hours. We have a levee for the town and it still flooded businesses. I understand how you feel in this situation
So glad you didn't get any major damage, feel bad for all those who did. When I lived in SE Ky used to get bad flooding in the mountains, and it would wipe out everything. SO I know a bit about what you are experiencing now.
Glad you made it through looks like you're going to need a lot more fill and continue building up at least you can get a good perspective of what and where you need to focus on in case of another storm like that
New to your channel. At 4:50, what is the little building, (looks like a dog house), with its roof blown off? I've noticed it in other videos, but I don't recall hearing what it's for. Thank you for sharing your progress on the cottage property.
Im glad your all safe. I hope its a once in a lifetime occurrence. They should have a set up like we have here. There are huge tanks underground down by the lake that takes any water that could cause the city to flood. The water pollution control plant then takes the water, cleans it, then slowly puts it in the lake. Have a great day, and Happy Birthday to your wife. Stay safe. ❤️🙂⚘️.
T's & P's for all affected and worse. Glad you and yours are ok. We all need to think and plan ahead, 50 year cycle is over. I hope I am wrong but I believe that every thing is going to happen more frequently. Happy birthday to your wife.
When I saw the flooding, I was hoping the cottage was safe but seeing your video another day of rain would of been a disaster, the weather has been horrible just bouncing in and out of extreme all over,be safe to all
I relocated out of Florida because we kept having '500 year events' aka 'unprecedented'. I am not saying move, just saying that radical storms are and will continue to be more and more frequent.
Man, yeah driving out of there through that flowing water was crazy. Good thing you guys have a truck:) Hopefully this was one of those once in a century occurrence:) Hang in there, thank goodness the water was to the driveway and not your house. This is happening everywhere.
I've been seeing all kinds of flooding in cities south of you in the USA. It seems most of USA is either flooding or sweltering in above average heat. Since Southern California near the coast has nice summer weather, I guess it's about time for the San Andreas fault to break loose and send us all into the ocean. 😬 I almost wish I didn't get rid of my jet skis and boat !
Somehow UA-cam cancelled my subscription for your channel again! I think they do it deliberately to decrease the amount UA-camrs get paid. That being said, have I missed a comparison of the Ram to the 450? What would you recommend?
The bright side is that you know your house is above the flood level. Enjoying the channel. Tks for sharing.
This is alot of water!!! Hope your all doing fine. Take care you and yours.
Happy Birthday to Ashley🍨🍧
Glad you & your family are ok. Stay safe

Thanks for the update.
With all the timber you have cut down, do you have enough to start building an Ark ?
Lol may need to
Glad you were able to get through it without damage. That's a crazy amount of water in a short time. Hoping you have dry days for awhile.
I can fall asleep with this sound!
Love the rain.. Marie from Colorado
💦❤🐟🌧 Wow! Oh my goodness to your property!!!!!

Glad you feared OK. Sorry for those that didn't.

Looks like the road you built held up pretty well. Once your divert the water it should be an easy fix, right ?
Oh bet

Oh man. So sorry
On the other hand, it seems like the fires have been extinguished. But property damage is probably a lot more. Prayers for everyone!
We are all experiencing scary weather. Stay safe✌️🇺🇸❤️

Lake Piziquid was up over 6ft easy. I have pics I could send ya too haha
Why did the power company not send you a video of the damage?
They weren’t the first on site
It was the worst I've ever seen. I came away unharmed but I knew some of the missing and now passed.
Man I feel so bad for those involved!
@@workplaytv yes, it kinda makes you sick inside...😥
Was it a hurricane or a Nor'Easter
It is all under water -wow
Send some of that rain down here in Texas
