Amazing Job Guys, its all coming together. The Family really fits the house and scenery. Well done enjoying the job well done. Love it. Great little family.❤
Incredible serenity...Veiw to die for.. Beautiful lake MOUNTAINS ⛰️..the air of Forrest is truly amazing..love what your doing to the area .keep it up enjoying the 📽️..thanks you..
OK, BAUER needs his own channel, Love how he pitches in until the work is done❤❤ Your “little man” is beyond cute, and very smart, ❤ to see him with you in the cab, stacking the logs was awesome, he so loves the outdoors, and playing with his version of daddy’s toys, just give me so much pleasure to watch him. THANK YOU for letting me do that!❤
Bauer is talking so good now and is such a cutie! I think the cottage property is such a beautiful spot, and all you are doing to make it better is very exciting. Thanks for sharing it with everyone. Watching your family is such a blessing.
Another great video, the cottage are amazing, it's getting better and better every day, great to her your wife talking about the flowers, and great that you have so nice mashine to do the cleaning with, have a great day my friends 😊👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Your son is a handsome lad. In a blink of an eye - he will be a great helper. I have grandkids now and wow are they growing fast. Because of your ford review going to take a serious look this year albeit something used. Thanks for the videos - much appreciated
Lovely place you all got / have there. Must be really peaceful and relaxing when you want a break from working it becomes an ideal calm , quiet & tranquil pleasant relaxing place to just chill out and enjoy the lovely views. Enjoyed this video , Appreciate you all . Happy new year to you and your family bless you all .
I don’t blame you for taking them. I have seven or eight massive ones to take down at the house next year. I’m probably going to get them milled to use for “projects” lol
So tranquil to see the sunset...wonder to have your wife's input about the video and her wishes for the flowerbed...and the fungus from the birch trees..that's pretty amazing... Bauer has grown so much and is truly learning to be a good worker..so enjoy your videos...Thank you for sharing and and have a safe and wonderful New Year!!
Happy New Year Tyson, to you and your family. Looks better thinning out those trees. Plus knowing they are not going to come down near the cottage is peace of mind. Have a great one my friend!
The first time I saw everything, it didn't look very good. Now that a lot of trees and brush have been taken out, everything looks so clean,u can see so much more.
Looks beautiful, except for those trees. Cut them down and open it all up Just imagine the lake view once you remove all the trees between the cottage and the lake. You will have 360 degree lake views! Awesome!
I live in Arizona I can’t imagine how cold it is there where you live. I spend 6 months in central AZ in the winter where the weather is mild. And the summer in the eastern mountains of where it is cool in the summer. We are in the forest there. The best of both worlds.
I sure like yur view where u live i wish i had a place like yurs away from towns nd cities, i like the bush its nicer nd safer lots of wildlife, more things to do like Fishing..lol 😊
I am in amazement as to what you are doing. Looks awesome from the other side of the lake. Best investment I made getting a sawmill. Nice to do something with the resource from the land. Like you say it never ends with falling trees lol.
@@stevegif9620 yeah I seen a few of yours as well. Boxing Day we set some off at the point but last night wasn’t very nice so didn’t want to walk too far lol
If it was my place, with your resources I would be dropping or topping anything that could fall on the Cottage. You have already had some come down and found some Rot in others. I know it is a shame to drop healthy trees but if you use them for lumber, rather than just burning them on a pile like lots of folks do it respects the Tree I think. I always look forward to your videos. Watching your families progress. Progress can already be seen in what you are doing, you have to make a mess before you can make it tidy. Looking forward to the end result, however I feel maybe there will always be new stuff to do there.
I like watching yur video it is a nice place where its located u also have a nice log cabin wut more can a person ask For keep up the good work make it look nice...ok
I agree with the up and down weather. We are in Central Virginia, where we hardly get ❄️ snow or ice. Though we get gentle rain and mists. Now is a days before February. Our trees are budding! Nooooo! Yes. We are not finished with the below 40 degree days. Not good. Ummm.Hmmmm.
What a way to start the new year than a beautiful day at the cottage..hope the new year brings you all much success and happiness and that 2023 becomes all you wish it to be. I kinda chuckled when you mentioned the temperature swing..we had 3 days in the 20's over Christmas here in north Florida and I was finally able to break out my Columbia winter coat I bought myself 4 years ago( it still had the tags on it) now I am back in a tee shirt and shorts..lol Congratulations on all your successes last year and looking forward to seeing your business success for the new year..😊🎉😇🔧❄️
You are very lucky to have that beautiful property, you can build some 1 BR or 2BR cottages around that property for rental, don’t cut too much the trees tho.. keep it natural.
I recall you cleaning up the sides of the roads up to the house for electric poles I believe. Were you able to get the electricity connected to the home?
@workplaytv that will be cool to monitor how much energy the panels are creating and how much is being used. I've seen the cost of the batteries and wow.
24:20 my guess it would be the years that they were cut and drying. They may not have done a third year because the fourth year didn't get used up.🤷 Idk.
hi, I've been watching your videos for a few weeks and I've noticed one thing, all you show us are repairs already done, we haven't seen how you did them and that's what people want to see, you know watching a crane rip out stumps one stump goes two too but tons of stumps!!!!!!!!!!! show us how you repair your cottage, by the way you hit the jack pot buying this cottage it's really beautiful and good luck with the rest.
@@workplaytv Thanks we are looking at purchasing one like that in the next year or two right now. We have a 2006 new Holland 01 85 with loader in track system on it. That thing is a bulletproof unit got a Cummins motor but we saw the new ones and we do like them, so just kinda like to see what you have to say about it.
I thought the area where you took down the three trees was too tight, if you are going to keep it and plant flowers or something in there, then what's the difference if it's tree's or plants ?
Totally off video topic: after following you all this time and your experience with the trucks, if you could only choose ONE. To pull a deck over trailer that will haul a 10k pound Skidsteer with brush cutter and 8.5k mini excavator with chipper head, would you choose the f450, f350 dually, f350 SRW OR would you go with a RAM? Thanks in advance.
You're not cutting down trees you are manicuring your portion of the forest. If other people don't like it, they don't need to watch and leave rude comments. Remember what Grandma used to say, if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all. 😉
LOVE the property and most of the manicuring!! Very high equipment envy and growing!! RE: 2...1...4... I think the previous owner wanted to identify the firewood shelter in "drawers" to aid him in staging (i.e. balance time spent drying the wood while ensuring rotation). He could have picked creative names for them instead. Maybe he liked sending his new guests "to retrieve lumber from storage bin four" and got a kick out of replying to his guests, "what the dickens do you mean 'where is the t(h)ree?' - What do you think those things are made of that you brought to me!?"
Wow how beautiful the sunset 😊
Love to watch this guy all he knows is hard work!
Y'all are definitely living the dream!! Beautiful place you have there!!
God bless you both, and all your hard work
Slowly but surely it's all coming together 👍
I love hearing Bauer imitating the chain saw 😊
Amazing Job Guys, its all coming together. The Family really fits the house and scenery. Well done enjoying the job well done. Love it. Great little family.❤

Yeah we are going to get a new carving to put there so we are on the same page!

Yeah I walked across it last year so hoping for the same this year.

Ah, yes. Reuse the logs to build on The Point. Smart.
You have a lot of wood, a sawmill would save you a lot of money sawed lumber is highdollar
Do you think you can do a review on your new Holland skid steer?
Yup

Not from this year

Trees can fall on a house and destroy it. Never seen plants do that.
Ok

The 450, 350 dually and or ram 3500 dually wound all down great. I’d stay away from the SRW
