Many thousands. I carried it and shot it a lot for six years, and it was used when I bought it. I replaced the Slide Lever Stop after this video; as you can see, it was not keeping the slide back reliably. Actually, the spring is all I need to replace, but I had an extra Slide Lever Stop, so I just switched it out for now.

These early Hickok 45 videos when Glock was King are so pleasingly nostalgic to watch. The model 26 is a classic handgun, and I plan on acquiring one for concealed carry in the near future. Hickok himself seems a bit nostalgic about Glock lately, and I hope that translates into more Glock videos featuring other classics like the model 23 in .40 S&W (the last Glock he would ever get rid of at one point in time). Thank you sir for your contributions to the shooting sports! 🤠👍

I might be wrong about this, but I love the close-ups on the gong. It looks like you can actually see some of the bullets as they fly into the target. And you can also see some of the bullets bounce off of the gong.

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of Talon Grips hickok. That is the only upgrade i have done to my G17 and i wont ever carry a gun without them. They look stock and made shooting on a hot 103 degree Texas day flawless. I took my LTC exam that day and i was sweating shotgun shells (not bullets) but my grip didnt suffer one bit. Love your vids hickok. When I was looking for my first carry weapon, all of my research kept leading me to the Glock 26. My research was dead on. I purchased a Glock 26 and haven't looked back since. I have a G19, and G26, and IMO they are 2 of the best handguns ever made. I fired plenty of firearms, but I am a Glocker for life. I've had my Glocks for over 8 years, and never a single issue with any of them. I mainly carry the 26 because I can conceal it better than the 19.

I have Lone Wolf Barrels for my Glock 30 and my Glock 21, but sometimes they don't like my handloads. clap5, 9mm is hardly a weak caliber for a handgun used against humans, especially these days. A .38 Special has maybe half the energy, but with modern premium hollow-points, even it can penetrate adequately while expanding to over half an inch. Use whatever you're comfortable with. I use .40 S&W for defense because it gives me nearly as many rounds along with a larger bullet, but 9mm or .45 ACP would suit me fine, as well (and I like revolvers, too).

I love that you point out that the mags aren't engaging the slide stop at the end of mag and that it's no big deal. Are part is out of spec and needs replaced. Guns are tools and any tool that is used a lot eventually needs maintance and parts need fixed. As long as it fires rounds when needed then the other little things can be fixed. It is not a critical failure that stops the gun. Great job and love your vidoes!

gunlover2010, Glocks are just about the most reliable, robust handguns in existence, except for one thing: they hate limp-wristing and will often fail to extract and/or feed if you do it. Although this is a well-known phenomenon, in actuality it's extremely difficult to get most semi-autos to fail with a weak hold, but with many Glocks it's not hard. Obviously if you don't limp-wrist, then it's not an issue, and Glocks will function under many conditions that other pistols won't tolerate.

I like watching this over and over again! I have a Glock 17, 19, and 20...sold my 26 about 5 years ago...Big Regret. A good excuse now to buy a 26 Gen 4. It was a great shooter but needed the money. Had friend over and we shot about 6 of my guns, some revolvers...All said the G26 was their favorite. Can't wait to get it back. Thanks Hickock, you're an inspiration.

Excellent shooting, sir! I wish I could afford to shoot more. You have an awesome range, too. I hope to have one similar at my future retirement residence.

I've said before that I don't care for Glock. Can't really say why. I've now come to the conclusion that if Hickok45 likes then so much that I must be missing something. I need to find one to shoot. I do like the size

I really enjoy all your videos you share, this video really helped me make a choice on what gun I was going to buy for a conceal carry gun. Thanks

I am about to get a 26. I was at a range with my buddy and his guns and there was another guy there. He started telling me how he thinks Glock is overrated. I asked if I could shoot one of his pistols because I had never fired one and he happily obliged. He handed me a Walther P/22 and it jammed before I got to the third round lol. Nice guy, nice pistol but I'm still going for the 26.

Just watched it again. Its the round coming in before impact. You can even see it in the 5th shot that hits low in the dirt. 9mm out of 3.5" barrel is only about 900-950 fps at 80yrds

I think every shooter generally has his eye on something! Not sure, though. Wouldn't mind a good AK again, but I'm not that knowledgeable about them.

Hickok! I don't believe there are many (if any) people out there with custom guns or not that can out shoot you! I have only owned my 26 for two months. It's my fourth Glock and I love it! I can shoot it as well if not better than any pistol I own. Thanks for this video! It rocks! I get so much pleasure out of watching you shoot! Thank you, thank you thank you! It's snowing where I live so I'm not going out today! (bummer!) This is the next best thing to shooting myself!:0)

You are amazing!! Very gifted shooter. I went out and got me a 26. Wasn't sure of the range until I seen your vids. Very nice range. You are very well spoken on the videos. Thanks for educating us on the Glock 26.

Love my Gen3 Glock 26. I have a set.of Talons on the way. Got the rubber instead of skateboard tape like material, so I can conceal without getting all scratched up.
