I'm going to fix my Pixel 5 myself. I'd rather not pay the $300 at the closest phone repair place. Because of you, I know how to fix it for way less than that!
Can you customize a iPhone back glass?
I saw you videos.
Watched your vids and was like huh that looks interesting. Called up my friend who had a broken iPhone 8 he wasn't using and fixed it with a tutorial. Really tested my patience but it was fun. Now I fix friends or family's phones
What an amazing story.

The story name is “crunch”

PRG: “unscrew, open it up”
And now teachers come to your store as well!
Good for you bud. I dont fix phones but i fix cars. Got my first truck at 16, headlight housings were super oxidized so i threw on a video on how to change the housings and grille emblem cuz it was super faded and went on from there. Now im a certified technician at a toyota dealership.
That's awesome
That’s crazy man! Almost the same path I’m on right now, I was 16 and didn’t like my truck headlights so i changed them, which lead me down the rabbit hole of buying aftermarket parts. Made me realize how much I loved them, now I’m going to school for automotive management! I love how others have this common passion for repair.
cell phones are much more a better to fixing ,I service copiers and prtrs my self looking into starting cell phone services
Who else just loves the- *crunch*
mee lol I was fixing an iPhone se and I said "get that crunch" while putting the screen on 😂
If only I had someone in the class to fix my phone…
That's a great story ❤️
Bro i started for the exact same reason 🤣😁
What was your favourite school subject?
Love ur videos btw. PRG>ASMR

I got into tech when I was 8 and I broke my iPod touch 4 screen. I also bought a screen off eBay and did the repair myself and also did my mothers iPod touch 4 screen. Then I started building PC’s when I was 11. 6 years later I’ve built many PC’s and spent a total of 16k on tech. Most recently 5.5k of that was on a ASIC for bitcoin mining and I’m making good money on that
Imagine if he never broke his phone, then we would not have the phone repair guru
Imagine being 14 when the IPhone 6 were coming out… I feel old
I don't usually fix phones, but I was like 11 when my old Samsung Galaxy Core( I still keep that phone) broke so I tried to remove screen glass and broke it even more and ended up breaking digitizer. Eventually my dad yelled at me (then I ended up replacing the screen for 35 bucks lol).
Nice squid game pfp
Dude! Same thing happened to me! I broke my iPhone 7 screen and selfie camera and figured I’d save some money so I bought a screen and selfie cam from Amazon to fix it myself. The screen I bought turned out to be defective and I ended up fixing the selfie cam but breaking the home button. After that I decided to just get a new phone (iPhone se 2nd gen) because the 7 battery life was terrible and it constantly overheated. I haven’t fixed anyone’s phone yet but I have done a ps4 repair.
have a great day everyone
Thank
It's amazing hearing people's stories on how they started. They're just an average joe who saw a problem and tried solving it their own. I love this guy's content. You're amazing!
I’m currently on the beginning of the path. My friend has an iPhone 6 that is no longer turning on, but he has gotten a new phone since then so I’m going to give it to my sister. I removed the battery and accidentally broke the connection but I plugged it in and the lcd lit up, there was an apple logo and some lines (there was no signal at all before opening the phone, it only gave power after I removed the battery and tinkered with the screen a bit). I uploaded 2 shorts on it so y’all can see but I might do fixing phones 4 cheep as a side hustle at some point
“Congrats to everyone who is early and found this comment :)
When i was 11 years old i broke my samsung galaxy a10 lcd, the screen turns black. I don't have enough money to go to the repair shop, so i realize what if i repair my own phone, because of that im not going to spend a lot of money, than spending 800 pesos in the repair shop. That day i buy some of my phone's lcd for only 200 pesos, after 2 days my phone's lcd finally came, for only 6 minutes im done changing my phone's lcd, and my phone works very well😊😊😊
Hello now I don’t know if I can ship my phone to you but my phone is gone like a complete 100% darkness it was charged to 94% but now it isn’t and it fell of its corner so if you could fix my phone I would very much appreciate it
How much will it be if my iPhone is glitching out but it works but u can’t see the screen what I mean is The screen is completely black. What but I still get notification I am really sad bc I need my phone and the it’s a iPhone 11

Wow the one accidentally made a future

Still agree
When he got the first "crunch" he knew this was his life purpose
Great. I started out when I was 13 and was fixing PCs and other devices *for the school* and my teachers were actually impressed. Now I'm in Grade 12, and still doing it.
I LITERALLY started the EXACT same!
Does anyone else love these vids
The teacher isn't a fan until their phone broke

I love this. I actually broke my 6 also, used a water damaged iPhone screen by accident in 2016 (long story), messed up the whole phone. Took it to a repair shop, & they told me for a first timer I did good screen swapwise. Told me to not give up and try again, so I did. I can fix all iphones now but want to learn other phones and laptops now as well!
Practice makes a man Perfect 🔥🔥
This is only for you ❤️
Same thing happened to me, I tried to replace the battery on my OG Pixel when I was 15 and I broke the screen and iFixit was charging too much to replace so I bought a screen online, pulled up a tutorial and went to work
So I recently got my sisters iphone 6 with touch disease, turns out a plate was missing so i first placed a plastic DIY plate and it fixed the problem, only thing is that the screen wasnt in the phones frame, so i got tired of that and I ended up opening the entire phone, opening the screen and turns out the screen had 2 cables disconected LOL, Anyways ty for making the content :)
Do you repair Androids
Damn im just planning to replace the battery of my tablet by myseñf and im a kid, ive also have an successful experiment of running a phone without battery
You repair your iphone in 14 but started fixing friends phones back in 12
I'm confused
my story is similar. just replaced the battery in my iPhone 6s, and my friend told me her phone battery health was at 65% and I told her I would fix it for her. about to do it soon if she orders the battery, but this semester is almost over so theres not much time left so I'm hoping she ordered the battery already.

Same here I broke my iPhone XR and I didn’t trust anyone with my phone so I fixed it by myself came out good
I’m 12 and I wanna fix my retro iPod and I am good at saving so I have $300 so getting the tools should be no problem
what the heck
I also started to fix phones at 14 and I also broke my iPhone 6
watching a jerryrig video and did the repair
PFFFFT I started by accidentally dropping my iPhone 6s plus into the toilet at 6 in the morning
Can you Fix Luxury Phones that are Overpriced and you Can't Afford part of the Phone
I'm guessing your parents owned some type of shop or something that they let u work out of? that's how I got into fixing computers
The iPhone 6 is where I started phone repair to, I had to replace the battery and punctured it(I didn’t die) and then I broke the screen and the battery expanded, i have improved at phone repair tho
I'm a teacher and if you were in my class, I would've brought costumers to you.

You are my inspiration for this stuff, I am also Canadian and didn’t even know you were aswell

ME TOO im looking for iphone 8 tutorial rn because i broke my screen.
So now you charge too much?🙄🤔
This is an amazing story bro✨
Teachers don’t like it when you bring a sponge sponge to class either.
Bro I NEED that music in the background in my life
I’ve dreamt to repair electronics, but sadly im too young to repair
You're one of the reasons for me to want start repairing phones even though I'm just 12
My story IS ALMOST THE SAME BROOO I FIX MY OWN PHONES AND THE PHONES I BUY!
Bro started a channel of repairing phones just because he didn’t want to tell his dad that he broke the screen💀
same with me but i'm repairing pc parts
and i'm 9 when i started and now i'm 11
Keep it up 💪 bro
how much money do you get a month from doing this (without youtube ad revenue)
dude i broke the home button on the first phone i fixed too which was also an iphone 6
I didn't know you were from Canada until you said Tim Hortons
Tim Hortons? Your in Canada like me? That’s epic
How much too fix Samsung galaxy a8 front and back
i started fixing and sometimes reselling ipods because of you
This b become a fixer because he didn't want to get beated lmao
Have this same story😂. Broke my iPhone 6s in 2020,ordered the screen and fixed it myself by watching PRG tutorials. Been fixing phones since then😂. Thank you PRG❤️
Nice, bro! I also started repairing when I was 12. It's a passion for me now and I love being able to tinker with things. It's just a great hobby, especially because of the high demand for repairs, especially for phones.
I started with an iphone SE. I was 14 also, and the charging port died... I ordered one replacement, and some tools too. When I opened the phone, I broke the touch id flex... So I ordered one also... When I've changed everything, the phone worked (not the touch id, but the home bottom). Then, the phone accidentally fall, and the screen died... So I whent back to my lovely iphone 6... Now, I have android couse I hate apple... XD
"The teachers were not a fan of that"
Paid actors by Apple
JESUS CHRIST I DID LIKE THE SAME THING. I broke my iphone 6 and it had terrible battery life. Fixed the battery and it went great but when i did the screen a week later I shorted the board and the back lite stoped working 😬
I started in the repair fun when I had my sidekick and wanted different color buttons and broke the power button. Good times, good times. Think I was around my 13/14. If I remember correctly, I was 8th grade summer before high school
It's Me? or teachers always get angry when students start a “business” (legal business) at school and always push them away from it. If they see that students can do substantial work for the future with it, why don't they ever help? They seem to only stick to math and history books from 20 years ago. only getting into Chromebooks due to the pandemic.
(Disclaimer: Just an opinion)
This is literally the exact path I’m on right now, broke my iPhone 6 about a year ago, everywhere was charging too much, bought a $16 screen on eBay, now I’m fixing friends phones
Wow I think we have same story bro. When I was 15 I accidentally break my phone screen and I ordered online and now I 18 I fixing my friends phone other electronics stuff
Hey! Me too! Mine was an iPhone 6 with a bad battery. Then I started to fix my dads front camera on his iPhone 6s. Forgot to unplug the battery, and I screwed down a little too hard and it literally went up in smoke. :/ so now I’m scared to open another phone that’s over $100
Same thing broke my iPhone 6 when I was 12 😂
Now I do phoens and laptop repairs for fun especially when I break my stuff
Wow! Great story! And it all started since you were young! Hmm, we are the same but I work on electricity I started on making DIYs since I was 6 years old and everyday I discover and learn and I advance everyday and due to that i'm known at school as the young electrical engineer I earn money as well to repairs like replace outlet and switches or repair speakers and such my dream I want to be an engineer soon! I'm still 15...😃
