Seeing that J3 put a smile on my face, it was the first phone I ever bought and it got me through college, such a great Samsung phone and honestly love those, they’re great budget phones.
Found a similar deal on ebay a couple of months ago. 70 phones, 70 dollars, "broken". Among them, a fully working iphone X, a pretty new oppo phone, assorted others. About 50 of them worked overall.
Would definitely watch a video on the old iPod. Curious about the slab BlackBerry phone as well. The ones manufactured by TCL were actually pretty decent Android phones. I love the old Nokia phones that have character. Hi. The case with some of the iPhones is called a boot loop. All you have to do is open up the iPhone/iPod/iPad and disconnect the microphone/connect the microphone(if it wasn’t connected) and try again, it’s a simple error. I experienced it once with my iPhone XS Max

A common problem with the early models in the Samsung Galaxy series (e.g. S3, S4) is USB port failure, which among other things prevents the phone from charging. I had short-lived success working around that by using wireless charging adapter pads (which used contact points inside the phone, bypassing the USB port), but later found it easier (and more reliable) to just swap batteries and use a dedicated wall charger … that is, until the phones themselves eventually died. Don’t know whether that bit of info might be relevant to your troubleshooting efforts, but thought I’d share it just in case. 🙂
Huh. I had a similar problem with a phone back in the day, except I didn't really know what was wrong. It was a pretty cheap phone anyway, so I tried not to mind it.
I remember going through the Galaxy Nexus charging port failure saga. Endless replacements of the port and it got to the point where the phone thought it was charging when unplugged and wouldn't charge when plugged in.
For that iPod Classic 4th Gen 20GB, you're able to pry off the back and replace the old hard drive with a cheap flash mod/sd card, really easy it just plugs right in where the old drive was. No soldering. Sadly that screen seemed like it was missing a line of pixels

Dude, wear some latex or nitrile gloves when handling used tech, specially if you're going to shove your hands in a bag full of them. You never know where those things have been. Then disinfect each and every one of them before placing them in different parts of your studio! Other than that, great find! Do a review of one of those using the cameras of all of them. So a different phone for every section of the video. Also; I am shocked by how many of these work! I feel like someone may have actually just collected them from electronics recycling bins. It's weird to see how many relatively modern phones are in there. The revamped 3310 featurephone is still for sale for 70 euros, and it's in there for 50. Pretty sure that's already more than half of your value! Also that's a blackberry leap. yes another video from my fav youtuber
Honestly doing a whole series of videos on fixing all of the non working working ones. I'd love to see it!
There’s a major y2k fashion boom rn for gen-z, all of us are looking for old phones like this! You’re gonna make bank!
What website you shop on to get that bag of old iPhone iPad etc
The iPhone 5(?) at 7:19 that's in a bootloop might be because of a dead battery, I currently have an iPhone SE that bootloops with it's battery but is just fine when I put in a replacement.
You should try to do a video on the infamous "Playstation Phone" (a.k.a. the Sony Xperia Play). It's a pretty interesting piece of hardware and would make a great video!
troll face is NOT a jailbroken feature, it's a classic meme on the internet
where did you get from all these stuffs it's cool dude.
Dude, wear some latex or nitrile gloves when handling used tech, specially if you're going to shove your hands in a bag full of them. You never know where those things have been. Then disinfect each and every one of them before placing them in different parts of your studio!
Other than that, great find! Those phones, old as they may be, would be super useful in third-world countries
When the universe grows cold, the last light in the darkness will be a nokia screen.
I have the exact same Nokia Flip Phone in my phone collection! It is the 2760 from 2007 and it still works... and it is a little damaged.
that was an amazing deal. like I would pay £30 for an iphone 5, but you got so much more for just £50
Do a review of one of those using the cameras of all of them.
Actually not running android, but with a full touch screen. Bit of an odd ball!
Have fun erasing them!
oh wow, i had a Motorola Razr, the nostalgia. my ringtone was one minute man by Missy Elliot cos it sounded ok in the bleepy style that ringtones had back then.
, The iPhone model you found with the S on the bottom looked like either an iPhone 6s or a 6S plus. With the iPhone that’s in a boot loop, you can plug it into your computer and if you can get it into recovery mode, you might be able to reinstall the newest iOS version onto it.
If it doesn’t have icloud
“Hopefully food”
Yeah
It better be food 😂
Crikey, I expected maybe one or two of these to work, the rest to have smashed screens or be completely destroyed.. seeing that almost all of them are in perfect working condition blows me away, and they're all such nice modern phones too o.o
Something something throwaway society something something blah blah I've been using the same Android phone since 2015 blah blah you get the idea lol
But man it is weird to see so much phones far better than mine in better shape being essentially thrown away like they have no value
Make sure to read up on iCloud locks before resetting any of those Apple devices, you might end up with devices that can't be used after restoring them.
Did you get the 6s working?
The Old iPod that has the wheel, the error message that it shows up means it needs a new hard drive, you can buy new hard drives for like 20$ and then replace it and It will work fine.
OMG people... factory reset your goddamn phones before you give them away!!
You got the title wrong. It was ment to say £50, not $50. lol
😂
Love the ipod..... Where can I get such package
where do you buy it!
