Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767 Tanker Close Up Departure from Calgary Airport

Every summer, generally during the first week of July, NATO troops come to Calgary to train at Suffield, a Canadian Forces Base southeast of Calgary. The French, Belgian, and German Air Forces already came and went this year, but this Italian Air Force KC-767 was a pretty unique visitor! Here we have MM62229 taxiing out from Apron 6 and departing runway 35L heading back to Europe. I didn't hear what airport they were cleared to unfortunately, but I hope you enjoy this military 767 up close, with ATC included!

I have often wondered if this was the type of aircraft that was used in the Sep 11 attacks. All footage of flight 175 could easily be of a KC 767.

@@daniel1982641 you can say it strong ... try to land at an airport where the track is less than 200 meters from a rock face with a c27j with a broken engine and a 10-ton cargo hold of various materials. cross wind .... landing and stop in less than 800 meters .... no damage to things or people except the engine left ..... turn 100 knots, trim dancer, side wind at about 20 knots, despite this manual landing !!!! After the repair of the engine the beast is back to fly everywhere and anyway .... let's also fly the stones if we want!
