@@darkmann12 not the music itself, but how much it adds to the whole quality and effort put into what is basically a vlog. Not to say they were bad before, but it’s progress
It kind of weirds me out when I always see Trial's videos like yours and you're doing crazy stuff people wouldn't even dream of and they don't even bat an eyelid. idk, am I overthinking it? It seems like something is off when they're somehow too busy to even glance as such cool things going down right in front of them
Some people do watch but I think it’s a very British thing to not want to show too much interest and hide any excitement... maybe it’s a politeness thing too and they don’t want to get in shots or put you off. people in less conservative countries are definitely more vocal about it
I think it is the internet. People are no longer amazed by things. We got a lot more reactions from the public 10 years ago, especially from kids and teens. I'm in St Petersburg (ru) and ride trials since 2005.
Since day 1 I love your videos but in the last few days I am getting more in love with your videos. The new editing style is absolutely amazing and the music choice is pimp.
You don’t NEED a trials bike to learn (but it would be nice)... if you want to learn on a budget then you can either modify your own bike slightly or if that’s not possible then a cheap hardtail with a bashguard and bigger brakes fitted would last you until you started doing bigger moves. If you do want to get a trials bike then check out the 24” Alias, that seems to be the best budget trials bike out at the moment 👍🏻
Euan's shots look super sick! It's a bit of a shock going back to your own footage. Maybe it will be less noticeable if they are color graded more similarly. But those super cinematic shots must have you dreaming about a new camera haha. Anyways, great riding! The university spot looks really fun.
I still don’t class myself as even an average editor and colour correction is never something I’ve done much of but I tried to get these as close as I could, I totally get that the transition can be a bit jarring though. Yes a nicer camera would be sweet but it’ll have to wait, too many other things needing bought at the moment!
Just managed to find a seatclamp and seatpost for my pace rc250t. Well stoked never thought I’d find 1 let’s my bike right down without a working seatpost happy days awesome riding as usual Ali
@@Ali_Clarkson Well you are certainly my favorite honorary Scot., which is good for you. You stood ZERO chance of knocking Bon from the top spot, no matter how rad you are.🤣

One of the main reasons was I was bored lol...I had these levers and decided to see how they felt. I quite like how vertical levers take up less space on the bar and I had some time to kill so on they went
Alright Ali, real fork test, (and i guess challenge for you as well) drop into a hook from a wall. 180 front pivot, drop into a hook, drop down. Broken steerer tube? Challenge....
Really nice vid, and the music is spot on! I'm impressed by how tough these forks are! Speaking of low travel forks, would be interesting to see how the Lefty Oliver handle that kind of punishment! Not sure it would last as long as these Fox...

More sweet riding in 10mins than some major videos of old! And those slow-mos and music just all add to the flavours. Those Fox Forks are taking quite a pasting, and doing brilliantly.
Loving the videos, but that headset rattling will destroy the frame... I would suggest maybe looking into the "Intend Smarty." It's an expansion wedge with a nice open hole that you can route the cable through. Don't want to see you brake the head tube off that bike
Awesome vid Ali! I received my first trials bike Monday March 1st, im so stoked! My local bike shop is getting a kick out of it as well! I already have new pedals, grips, and a new chain on it. Love the soul soundtrack. That second spot just begs for a wall ride. There is no reason why those forks would be any less durable than rigid forks. Have always noticed that suspension forks have some twist, making the brakes rub when turned and loaded. But I've also had the same issue with some rigid forks.
Ali damn dude you got some crazy skills you’re doing great I still don’t understand why you haven’t fixed your headset though keep it up your videos are always top notch
Lol. I'm from Canada (brakes on right side) and I was absolutely shocked by the fact u were doing manuals across that wall without finger on rear brake for fail safe.
Man, Ali! The riding and editing gets better every video. That footage from your friends Fuji looks amazing. Also, I grew up in Texas and Oklahoma. I say my bike has forks too. Lol
I want to buy a single bike (for now), one that will be useful for casual riding as well as beginning to try out trials maneuvers. I was looking at the Kona Shonky, or the Cannondale Dave. But DJs don't seem to be good for general riding given low seat, geometry, and gearing ratio. Would it be feasible for me to buy a gravel or mtb with a lower geometry so the seat can be moved much lower, and upgrade the crossbar for more control? or should I get a DJ and add in front disc brakes? Willing to spend about 1700 USD
