Awesome. Well I can only encourage you to still make some experimentation. It's easy to get things wrong. I mess this up all the time still. But hopefully you can avoid a few pitfalls now :)
Thank you for your work! Going through this last week changing routes of lead singer and background singer since I have three leads that become background singers in other songs! I went with a list of lead singer presets these only change the route to a background subgroup to lead subgroup note that each subgroup needs to be the same plugins or latency very important don’t want lV1 to lag when you hit a route preset because lV1 recalculates latency! So I have to hit the scene that changes the singer then another scene that is the song works but wish it was better!!😮
Yes, recalling routing is dangerous. Another way that might work for you would be to have all 3 singers go to the Backing group. Then double the channels for the Lead group. And then just recall mutes. So when singer A is lead, that singers backing vocal channel is muted. Not sure if that would work for you but it would get rid of the routing stuff since everything is routed all the time. But yeah ... there are room for improvements.
@@joevegna, I do quite a bit of theater work in addition to working with churches. Scenes need a complete overhaul, for sure. Even if they could ramp faders, mutes, and pans between scenes, which I think would be pretty easy, that would make a big difference. I get that ramping plugin settings between scenes is difficult, but if they ever decide to do that...lookout Digico!
Nope. But I hear some people are having issues with dropouts when changing scenes. I will gather mor info about this and make another video. Does your whole system freeze?
Спасибо за видео Joe! Всегда жду ваши видео с нетерпением! Так держать!
I was about to do some experiment on my own with scene recalls. but you did it so well so i dont have to. great video

Great video!
Thanks. And thanks for being a long time viewer. I have a few things in the pipeline I think you will like. A few weeks away still.
Thanks for keeping it real, Joe! "Scenes work...kind of bad."🤣
Haha, well I speak my mind. It's long over due to get this to a higher standard.

Agree 100%
Does your LV1 freeze on you sometimes?
Nope. But I hear some people are having issues with dropouts when changing scenes. I will gather mor info about this and make another video. Does your whole system freeze?
@@joevegna Yes. But a quick restart if the LV1 seems to be a way out even though it not really best. Lol
@@Pkay-xx7bf Ok, no that's absolutely not the best. Might be a case for Waves support.
