in today's video we complete the WRX Varis Widebody. We installed the Varis rear bumper, Varis wide body rear fenders, and the Seibon carbon duck bill trunk. It is absolutely a dream come true! There is still a lot of work to do, but now the body kit is ready for paint.

@@ryancuffy358 agreed. They’re great wheels and if he can keep them, by all means. Just feel like it’s only right to either refresh them or get a different wheel to start a new chapter with the body kit
I say refresh them but the wheels fit great with the car

I think you should get the OEM trunk painted to match the color of the car too so if you get bored of the duck bill you can swap to the trunk with the APR wing and don’t have to drill holes in the new trunk !!
This. Have the stock trunk paint matched to the new color, but instead of keeping the current wing, he should order the Varis wing that goes with the kit to replace the old crusty APR wing.

I have the same rear bumper, if you want to keep the bash bar you have to cut the sides of them off and also add a hole in the middle of it. I can DM you pictures of mine if you need. Also, the reflectors are the same as the 2014 and prior ones, they sell LED ones online too that look sweet.

For the bumper, trace the fender well line, and use that as a template.. That way you have a perfect circumference

I’m not too keen on that new trunk/wing setup but I also don’t know what image you have in your head so I’ll trust you on it for now but I gotta say the OG trunk with the big APR Wing definitely looks better imo. And…… at the end of the day it is your car so whatever you want to do to it is completely your choice 😌💯

Will you stick with the current color or consider switching to WRB or something similar, with white wheels, to achieve that JDM Varis time attack color theme? I recall that the STI model came with the white TC4 wheels.
