I love these old, abandoned places, especially when they are loaded with history. Those four families living there, must be able to get power, etc. somehow. It's interesting they can own property there. I can understand your Mom having vaious memories. The last ones she shared were rather eerie. Thanks, Nick, for taking us along on this tour. I hope they keep the buildings up. It's such a part of the coal mining history. 👏👏

The green house that's now the gift shop was my wife's grandmother's house. She grew up in that house.
