Love that you were back to my area. You drove right past an old friend’s house (whom I haven’t thought of in 20 years) right at the beginning of the video. Thanks for the memory flashback.
Talking to the camera takes skill and confidence, I really envy you! It’s great to see you have backup if you do have any problems, you guys have a very happy 2024.
When you turned around and I saw your partners legs I tensed up lol. I thought you were alone and was so nervous for you haha glad you brought a buddy! Thanks for the video Post!
Wishing you and yours a very Happy New Year and thank you for sharing all your adventures with all of us. This place is just amazing with all it has been through and still somehow stands.
Never explored Concrete City myself, but I live just a few miles away! Awesome to know you were in my area! Let me know next time you’re in NEPA and I’ll buy you lunch!
Greetings from Finland. 🇫🇮 Just found your channels recently, very cool and interesting videos. Especially interesting to see local infrastructure there and camping in random places. Thanks! 👍🏻
As always, enjoyed the video. I can't believe you were walking in the dark. To dark for me. I would have been totally LOST. Another adventure I could only do through your video. Thanks, Post. 😊👍
I remember this site. Still very scary and sketchy. No idea what that car is. Too damaged to tell. Happy New Year to you and your friend and family.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy New Year to you and yours! Looking forward to a new year of videos from you. I love seeing all the different places you visit, so different from where I am in the UK.
Great to see you have an exploring partner. 'Hello'. I have seen tgis place a few times, but I am always fascinated at the different angles from which you each film. Stay safe.
It’s interesting how much older things are on the East coast compared to here in Southern California. Then people start finding really old settlements in caves out this way. People have been traveling to America for a very long time.
Happy 2024! I wish you a productive year of exploration and unclogging! That tree with the thorns at 26:30 could be a Gleditsia triacanthos - commonly known as "Honey Locust" but it is hard to tell for sure without seeing the leaves. If you ever go back to this place in the Summer time let let us know.
It all reminds me of a game my kids used to play , walking around graffiti covered concrete buildings with zombies coming out of every room, especially with that flashlight! I think the game developers must have used these buildings 😂. Stay safe Post!!!
I live not far from there, really enjoyed paint ball there growing up as a kid. Very fun explore. Last time I was there, was ankle deep in yucky thick, wet mud, but made the experience more fun as an adult.
Cool place, I used to love going to Pennsylvania when I lived in Jersey they had some really good food in new Hope along the river there, but couldn’t take the cold anymore on the East Coast had to move to AZ.😮
Creepy interesting to see how these abandoned places evolve. If the tree has reddish-brown bark, large thorns and particularly thorns on the trunk it's a Honey Locust, crowns are normally rounded, and there will likely be large curved seed pods at the drip line of the branches. Black Locust is usually an irregularly shaped crown, gray serrated bark and more inconspicuous thorns usually just thigher up in the tree, and may have smaller straight seed pods. Hawthorn bark is light greay (with black fissures on the trunk), two inch thorns, if late enough to bud the buds will be bright red. Hawthorns don't grow very high, maybe to small tree height where the two locusts can get large.
The thorny tree is either a Honey Locust, Black Locust, or a Hawthorn Tree but you'd have to wait until it's got leave and flowers to ID which, probably :)
The vehicle is giving me Ford Explorer vibes because of the bumper on the front & it came with sunroof in some but it's really hard to tell with seeing the entire thing 😊
It has to be cold living in a cement house! I grew up with an oil stove and remember seeing my breath upstairs and sleeping with a coat on. Happy New Year!
Nobody lives in a cement house (in normal circumstances) the framework might be concrete, but then you put a brick wall next to it, and insulation in between. You end up with a very cosy house, that will stand the test of time (when build properly)
Jeez it looks like designs of building are akin to that used in Atomic Testing! It may well be Concrete but it is _Knitted_ together with loads of Rebar! Designed to survive a Huge blast it seems!
Thank you for providing us with this very interesting and informative video presentation which is very much appreciated. We are absolutely delighted with this exploration, it would have been a very isolated place to live and the fact that the railroad is now gone would imply that it was unremunerative as well as there may have been problems with keeping the tracks in good condition due to geological conditions and possibly the mudslides that are now overwhelming the old ruins. They would certainly be very cold unless they were properly insulated but it would seem that as you intimated, they were too hard to heat and keep warm. May God bless you with a very Happy New Year.
hey post, next time your in that area you should really check out the paulinskill viaduct. Really cool abandoned train line with lots of old structures.
Happy New Year to you post 10 Love your videos especially the damn removal ones for the beers. Have you ever witnessed an actual concrete dam removal? Continue with your great videos.
Post, nice follow up vist. Too bad you two didn't wait until the daytime to explore. It reminded me of the Blair Witch project when you were going through the forest near the end. My best guess on the tree you asked about is a Honey Locust. The species not a cultivar. It has nasty thorns. Happy New Year! Is the big party at your place since you have the Disco kitchen?🎉 🥳 No invite?😂
Jesus I thought that was a ghost there Post, but I guess it was your lady friend.
Fantastic video.
Happy New Year from Scotland.
Kind regards,
Johnny
Had the same thought!
Happy New Year Post 10. Thank you for all you do. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺🎆
Love that you were back to my area. You drove right past an old friend’s house (whom I haven’t thought of in 20 years) right at the beginning of the video. Thanks for the memory flashback.
Go say 👋🏻
It's insane to think about how that site has been abandoned for a whole 100 years at this point.
Talking to the camera takes skill and confidence, I really envy you! It’s great to see you have backup if you do have any problems, you guys have a very happy 2024.
Happy new year post10!! Thanks for everything. Your channel has a special place in my heart

post 10!!! Many many adventures in store for you! 🥳🎉
How about adding your tag, sweep the dirt away for 1 foot/ clear a corner, or scratch a tag into the dirt.
Those concrete buildings are creepy. They would make a great backdrop for a music video or even a horror movie. Thanks for sharing this!
A new Post video on new year's eve. Nice way to cap off the year making me wanna do some terra/Urban exploration.
As always, enjoyed the video. I can't believe you were walking in the dark. To dark for me. I would have been totally LOST. Another adventure I could only do through your video. Thanks, Post. 😊👍

Great video! I see you have a companion with you. I hope the two of you have a great New Year!
Inline 6 engine, general construction, say its probably a early 2000's Jeep Grand Cherokee.
10:15 that person standing there scared the hell outta me 😅
Great video, Post 👍. It's amazing how well these buildings were built. Definitely not built that way today. Happy New Year 🎉
Thank you. Interesting buildings. Best wishes from UK.
Very cool. Very creepy. Also Locust trees have thorns but so do a handful of other tree types.
I live not far from there, really enjoyed paint ball there growing up as a kid. Very fun explore.

well, i hope so. I lived in a stick house and it was miserable unless in front of the oil stove!
Jeez it looks like designs of building are akin to that used in Atomic Testing!
It may well be Concrete but it is _Knitted_ together with loads of Rebar! Designed to survive a Huge blast it seems!
Little late but I am just now watching... The trees with thorns along their branches looked like Hawthorns, but without leaves I can't be sure.
The end when you talked about California was, uh, enlightening. Happy New Year to you, Post.
10:58 actually scared me for a split second.
I think that tree is a pyracantha but i could be wrong. Happy new year post 10 26:32
