@@sparky107107 Thanks! And as I mentioned, just do a small thing and it’ll get done faster than ya think! Some nights I may ballast 1’ and go to bed. But that’s 1’ that’s now done. And that 1’ over a week is 7’ of ballasted track. I hate to admit he was right, but he was. He was able to build a massive basement layout (unfortunately now gone for a move) in a short period of time using that mentality. And with hockey season over till fall, I have lots of time! Hahaha. @@jessenoklahoma you can do a lot in 4x6.. scenery helps and can be used as a scene divider. Have fun and try things out as you go. Then if/when you get a bigger space, you have some better ideas on how to do the scenery on that! And if not, then you have experimented with a few different methods and you may decide to go back and “fix” other scenes. Enjoy! Thanks for watching!
@@mysticrailroad thanks. Like I said, do a little bit each day and it’ll manifest itself in significant progress. I use a mix of woodland Scenics and Scenic Express fine turfs, then some coarse thrown in , the static grasses following Martin Wellbergs methods.. Thanks for watching!

@@matttjaden I’m trying to model 1978. It gives me a good mix of early and later diesels to throw in as I desire. That’s the biggest reason. The GP12s all were gone by then, but in my world, one survived! Thanks for watching!
@@goaliegeorge to me modeling 1975-1990 offers a lot of verity in equipment and roads. Personally I model RF&P in 1986 due to the roads that interchanged. I must say you did an amazing on that RS3. I’ve got a couple of Alco units on my layout. Adding Tsunami2 to them and setting up the DDE feature really brings them to life. The only thing missing is the smoke! Keep up the good work.
The Calahan Auto section is my favorite. Such a great movie.
