Operating the Grain Turn on new expanded layout. (With Narration.).
Since the major expansion of the layout last fall, here we run the Grain Turn in a different way to take advantage of the new layout space and make the job easier and faster.
Narration is included here. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below if you want to see more narrated operations content.
All locos are equipped with SoundTraxx Blunami and all operations are from the Apple App from my iPhone.

I’m excited about the new added section. Gives me more options and businesses now to service in my (scale) 1.1 mile long switching layout. I wasn't aware that you had a personal UA-cam channel! I have subbed! That road/suburb looks fantastic! Still no joy on the TSU KN1 decoders for my Kato E7s...

Thanks! I don’t post as much as I would like, but it lets me share some things. I need to get an ops video out soon. I have one in editing, juts need to dedicate the time to finish it. And call us on the E7s. We’ll see what we can do to help.. thanks.

Really nice layout. I myself like when the extensions on my lines aren’t perfectly straight as I can put a drainage ditch or some type of scenery feature. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Would it be feasible to paint a white (or some other color of your choice) tie where you need to stop prior to throwing the switch at your turnout?

In more modern times, yes. Or at least the fouling point. But in 1978, they didn’t have that. Just better trained operators I guess. (Haha. I kid!). He wasn’t wrong. That’s what he did when he ran trains for BN in 1978, so I guess I cannot fault him too much. In the new area, he can do whatever he wants! Thanks for watching M.
