A timeless classic. The Electric Light Orchestra... My lifelong favourites of 45 years and still. Jeff Lynne is a genius songwriter, composer, arranger and performer. He and Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish are up there with the greats. Thank you for a great reaction Sir. Paul 👍😊
The "5th Beatle" to some people. Loved going to their concerts with their light shows!!! I Also enjoyed the concerto of 4 songs ending with Mr. Blue Sky. Listening to these songs with headphones is fantastic! Thank you!!! 💫
Great Birmingham band and I actually have a connection to ELO as one of the members Dave Scott-Morgan who toured with them as guitarist in the early 80s is a regular guest on my station. He has a good solo career and we get first play on many of his new songs.
I wish I would have gone to their concert when they were here in the Twin Cities (I think last year)! I bought the Wembley DVD, and it is great. I saw ELO back in 1977!
Lyle, thanks for reacting to this for me! I knew you'd dig it live at Wembley in front of that throng of fans! Speaking of Wembley, you mentioned at the end of this reaction that you also reacted to another ELO song from that same Wembley concert, just last week. What is the song? I cannot find it in your archives.

Anyone that knows anything about music in Britain knows Jeff Lynne is a God and should be a Sir.
He's not? I'm not British but I know that's a big deal for you guys and I'm surprised and disappointed he's not.
Great song, I agree and this was such a great concert

The violinist is gorgeous 😍! Song is good also!
I struggle to think of another band from that time who could recreate such a full sound live. Brilliant.
First time seeing them back in late 70s. 50 years later...still perfection!
This is a great song
Oh... the Joy.
If you join Lyle's Patreon he has a reaction to 5 or 6 Albums and one is ELO. We would live to have you over there
I was there 2017 June
Yes it was
Mia Asano needs to cover that violin opening ❤
