WOW!!!! These type of radios just didn't exist back in the day........remember step controllers???? I just enjoy watching your videos like you wouldn't believe!!!! Thanks too much for sharing your RC expertise. All I can do at the moment is watch since I'm still recuperating from a right wrist injury I sustained in an electric scooter crash. I agree with 4strokemotor.......a good dollop of that crazy thick marine grease you use on diffs would silence that chair once and for all!!! I look forward to your trailer build. What's taking HG so long to introduce trailers????
Hello I went step by it worked for a bit but know I get the sound like the throttle is working but the wheels won’t move now only when I reconnect the battery what I’m I missing?
Ahhh man, I want to do the same thing to my hemett. I couldnt tell what exactly you did with the Volt reducer to the reciver wires? Which channel/wires went where?
Thanks for uploading this video! Very informative. I plan on buying this truck sometime this year, do you think It's a good idea to get rid of the battery eliminator and speed control and get something else instead? Would it require a lot of modifications? If there is a way to get rid of the eliminator then you can put the receiver in there with the speed control right?
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it. What would you feel be a good speed control with BEC for this? Rock crawling type ESC? or a normal semi truck ESC?
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Can a normal Speed control with a normal 5V 3A Bec supply be enough to power the 2 high torque steering servos? The UBEC here seems to be supplying a constant 15A-20A to them?
I’m sorry I just looked at my comment ok I did everything in your video everything things works but now I get the throttle sound but no motion I was getting motion but now I’m not what I’m I missing??
Thank you for another informative video, this is why this channel is the only one I subscribe to. And I have a question Is it as easy to do this with a king hauler with an mfc01 because I would like to have all the functions steering, shifting, fifth wheel, and all the controls with the mfc is it possible with this radio?
Hello You can easy upgrade this radio up to 10 Channels by Download a new Firmware with usb kable on your Computer. A 10 Channel Receiver you can get for about 20 Bucks. I did it to my FLYSKY Radio, it’s identical to Yours

Fantastic upload buddy,
Picking this transmitter up thanks to you, especially the modification of the stick one. Thank you.
Have you updated this truck? Thanks for all the videos on the 802.
Fantastic video!
I have a 1/12 scale Abrams rc tank. It was pretty cheap and I think if you were to get one of those. It would look crazy good on the trailer.
Hi. I cannot find you video for how to modify radio set for this truck. Could you please give me the link? Thanks.
Bob what’s happened to the modifying video? Says not available. I’ve bought one of these radios for a car and want to do the throttle mod.
Redid the video. New one here: ua-cam.com/video/7AUhZEBa4MY/v-deo.html
Bob, is the same exact radio as the Flysky? Just a different name?

The link in the description says the video is not available I really wanted to see how you modified the transmitter so the left stick has a neutral

I think a better esc with a built in BEC would be the way to go. I sss no problem to install and you could get rid of a bunch of wiring.

Any good esc would probably be fine.

What do you think Bob?

Yes, I am aware of it but have not tried it as so far I have not needed the extra channels. Will try it sometime.
