  • NVIDIA announced their new SUPER series GPUs at E3 2019 and now we finally are able to benchmark the 2060 Super and 2070 Super to see what these new GPUs are all about!
As a mention, we plan on testing the additional RT cores in RTX performance at a later date once we have a 2080 Super in hand as well so we can see how the new specs stack up. Please stay tuned for that video!

Nvidia knew nobody would buy a 50 class card for 200 to 300 bucks, so they had to come up with something new. So everybody sees these cards as 60 class, but they clearly aren't. 1650 -> GT 2030 USD 79; 1660 -> GTX 2050 USD 109; 1660 Ti -> GTX 2050 Ti USD 169. 2017 and before: Nvidia tries to overshadow AMD with preformance
2018: Nvidia tries to overshadow AMD with features (RTX, dlss, nvlink, etc)
2019: Nvidia tries to overshadow AMD with the amount of choice (and confusion) that the consumer has:
    1550, 1560, 1560ti, 2060, 2060 super, 2070, 2070 super, 2080, 2080 super, 2080 ti, TITAN RTX
I'm afraid if they don't go back to getting the market dominance in performance, that their monopoly position will disappear, considering AMD's new lineup. Finally we'll see more competativeness and that means sharper prices, which benefits the consumer.

MakoRuu it’s for consistency, when graphs are thrown across quickly like that and your interested in one specific item it’s difficult to keep track of which one is which but it’s really easy to see which one is best. It’s faster to see a shape than it is to read the product name basically especially when they are all so similar so you sort by names not by scores 😊

You should really start to include VR into your benchmarks. I would like to see what kind of performance you get with a PIMAX 5K Plus or 8K... And also a comparison to a average card which the most people use would be good, like a 1080 as a base.

I've been sitting on R9 Nano for over 2 years now, I can't wait for another DX generation leap. Doom Eternal is actually what made me get ready for a total PC overhaul (I even preordered the collector's edition, this game is my childhood sweetheart) because I want that Ray Tracing, over 100 FPS at 1440p wide. I was going to build an AMD exclusive build and I am still going that way for the CPU but on GPU, as much as I dislike nVidia and their shady tactics (this reminds of the same bloody thing they did with PhysX), I do want to go with RTX 2070 Super or RTX 2080 for Ray Tracing at 3440x1440p on a high refresh rate monitor (I want to buy the ASUS ProArt PA34VC for my "other" love in my life, photography).

Would have been useful to see where the 1070,1080 and 1080Ti stack up in these results. Let's face it there are a lot of Pascal users wondering how big of an upgrade these cards are.

The 2060 super is a little bit faster than the 1080 in Dx11 games and significantly faster in dx12/vulkan games, the 2070 super is on par with the 1080Ti/Radeon vii and a bit slower than 2080

Just wanted to point out the speed in which they discontinue their older releases, compared to the GTX 10 series vs 16 and 20 series time span.
Now the 2070 and 2080 is discontinued only 10 months after their release.

imm go buy Amd 5800xt series damn it e.e
this shows how little much nvidia cares about there FLAG ship GPUs they just gonna trash it and make a refresh when you just got the other version for double the price. meanwhile at amd they are trying to improve there hardware for a beter exP pushing the driver till it breaks to squeeze every performance on ther flagships and older hardware.

      1) Don't trust every "leak" you see on the web.
      2) Twitter is banned in China, they use Weibo.
      3) Wait for actual product reviews before deciding what to buy.
