When McCain aka McNuts was running for President, he wanted to start a war with Russia. Obama offered the American people health care. Who would you vote for in that election. The Democrats are never good at running the government. Thanks for providing and sharing this 'conversation' about such an important, sensitive and controversial subject. Very educational for us ordinary folk.
The problem is, you step foot out of your domicile, you are no longer “in private”. Other pause for concern…FedEx partnering with governmental agencies for full access to its vehicle cameras
I have the opposite remedy for this issue. We need a law that requires all taxpayer funded cameras that are not located in secure environments to provide their footage and data to the public. When everyone can see this data and use it to track government employees and politicians, they won't want these cameras anymore.
Must be no exceptions try using the public records act in the state of California. They have listed so many exemptions and they can exempt anything for any reason I dare you to try to get everything anywhere you get redacted stuff that is just a piece of paper that got black all over itfor now should be in court and they should be running and live streamed 24 seven no exceptions. That’s the problem no exceptions.
@Ginger-g8j I agree with that. It must be absolute. In addition, if the camera operators have to supply their data to everyone, they can't monetize it, so they have no incentive to put up the cameras.
If the public kept their selves properly informed and read the awful reason why any of these unconstitutional cameras have been upheld. They the public would know the so-called judge she had no real reason but plain made-up stupidity. That should sink in the minds of the public. 🤦🏽♂️
Founding Fathers? Of course they are called that. The reality is, Mother God gave us all our rights and no elite was ever put in charge. Mother says, rules not rulers. We are returning to Universal Natural Law as those laws are all that matters.
The phones and the cars and the license plates combined is almost like having your own detective/irs agent/nosey neighbor riding along with you everywhere, every day and night.
It is stalking. Everyone has a reasonable expectation of not being stalked. Same for the cell phone tracking and other things that people object to but don't know how to stop because they have no other option
The biggest problem is that many Americans see the trade-off of safety for freedom appealing. As indicated by the popularity of ring cameras and rampant gps tracking with very little concern. We need to be an annoying minority and hope enough inflection cases happen to sway the mass public’s opinion.
Around 6 years agoI had a meeting with my local police chief after I read an article in the newspaper stating that they were investing in multiple flock cameras to use in “high crime” areas. I tried to explain to him that this was the wrong road to go down as well as the unconstitutional doors that it opens. Long story short he pretty much laughed it off while assuring me that it wasn’t going to be abused. 🙄
Same here. And when you have massive corruption with the Sheriff, who is featured in our community newspaper as well as buddies with HOA/CDD, you realize how dangerous this is. Innocent people are being stalked by the very people paid with our tax dollars to protect us. There is no one to call for help.
Well, my first suggestion would be never ever ever live in a place with an HOA what you didn’t have enough government again with you to pay another one how stupid can you be? There’s plenty of places to live out there even if it’s in a cardboard box.

I've been a subject of this type of surveillance for several years. It's not just Flock. It's the neighborhood watch that provides the assist. If you level a complaint it's a mental health red flag. Abysmally demeaning.
And yet FISA warrants ran rampant. What happens when you can’t trust the judges? There is a HUGE problem with Judicial Immunity, Prosecutorial Discretion as well as Immunity for police officers.
Our whole judiciary has become corrupted beyond any Constitutional recognition and should be entirely dismantled. This all started with feminism, then multiculturalism, then anti-Whitism and systemic discrimination of White people.
This info could be sold to insurance companies to increase your rates, similarly to " link-on star" selling your driving habits to insurers so that they can increase your rates. If the AI is even mildly sophisticated it can produce a composite of your speed, habits, tailgating, etc.
Your way off target and all you're thinking about is yourself. Typical United States citizen. You've been enslaved and you're thinking of trivial things. Good citizen. Now back to work slave.
My beefs with the red light and speed cameras: - The citation is sent to the owner of the car, not necessarily the driver. - The false positives are still way too high for the technology to be the arbiter of law. - When you go to contest the citation, you cannot question the camera or the (often foreign, at least distant) company, employee or algorithm that processed the citation. - Some evidence has shown that yellow lights have been shortened to increase the number of red light citations. - The companies have a vested interest in matching the citations to a vehicle owner, so much so that there are many documented cases of people who have never been at that location are sent the citation, because some algorithm poorly matched the fuzzy data in the image to their car. - The entire idea is about profit, not enforcement or safety, as is claimed.
It's a danger to children and adults. One of the two doesn't have the ability to consent. However, adults can still not consent to it as well. All sorts of rights are being violated.
It’s been happening for a long time. Cops come in and take the children and the Judge of the court gives them to a different family or puts them in the system. It happens a lot with the black community and to the Hispanic community.
I heard the explanation and I understand it, but I will still never believe that red light cameras and speed cameras are constitutional. The assumption of guilt, the inability to challenge it in court, the inability to confront your accuser, the perception of just being a revenue generator, etc., separate the camera from an officer on the corner.
As we surrender our rights to privacy in exchange for security, we can expect more surveillance. It's a given. The real question people need to ask is, 'how far am I willing to go for safety?' If you still believe that police 'got your back,' read the new laws passed in the courts regarding police and their 'duty to protect' the individual. Police are no longer responsible to protect the public.
And those of us you do we get buried somewhere whether it’s in a prison or so far deep in debt or mental health is destroyed. Our physical health is destroyed and basically no one believes us. I had this conversation with My Sister earlier today. She didn’t believe the things I was telling her even though there’s a video to prove it, she the cops are the good guys she flies their flag
You get pulled over on a traffic stop they run the dog they claim the dog reacts. They do the search of the vehicle. There’s no drugs. That gives them probable cause to get a warrant for your home to search your home for the drugs that the dog supposedly react on if you don’t believe it’s happening it is.
Thanks for bringing this up. Multiple jurisdictions in Washington state have installed and are using LPR cameras, and many people are unaware of their existence.

I wanted to point out that more people would probably fight back against this flock security situation, but not many even know that this is happening. Just recently my buddy experienced a situation where his license was suspended for some administrative screwup, and the cop told him that the intersection camera sent out an alert to nearby officers that there was an unlicensed driver driving nearby. Now my friend is not one to drive reckless, or to drive without a license of he has the ability to correct the issues, but now people cannot just fly under the radar and take care of business as their life permits, because facial recognition and tracking informs police about everything as it's happening right now. You don't get to get caught anymore by acting foolish and harming others, having to speed or drive erratic to draw attention, now you get caught because your face is on a blacklist that you might not even know about, and they will hunt you down for violating a rule even though you are more likely to be a safer driver while driving "illegally", for doing ordinarily legal activities. This will be used to send you tickets in the mail for picking your nose while you drive, it's that ridiculous at this point
And right now I am dealing with what I believe is a flock security facial recognizing incident, because I passed by a gas station and saw a patrol car parked sideways, and shortly thereafter I saw the officer in my rearview barrel out of the gas station and speed in my direction. I entered the freeway and I saw the officer driving erratic just to position himself where he could record my face and my plate, and then he turned on his lights. I know my license is suspended because of child support arrearage, (I am fighting this because I raised my children and shouldn't owe anyone child support). So police tow away another vehicle and I'm just left standing there in the freezing cold. I feel so much safer now.

Good citizen. Now back to work slave.
True, but a more direct route is coming. Congress is already trying to to put that kind of thing IN THE CAR itself
My beefs with the red light and speed cameras:
- The citation is sent to the owner of the car, not necessarily the driver.
Arizona state law mandates that yellow lights be at least 2 seconds long.
Indeed. In Michigan state troopers receuve a commission for every speeding ticket. Of course they use radar

You don't get to get caught anymore by acting foolish and harming others, having to speed or drive erratic to draw attention, now you get caught because your face is on a blacklist that you might not even know about, and they will hunt you down for violating a rule even though you are more likely to be a safer driver while driving "illegally",
for doing ordinarily legal activities.
