top 5 off the dome: - the test pressing of Contrast that Coraspect sent me for free (gotta find a way to getchu to sign that sometime) - my copy of the first pressing of I’ll Try Living Like This that I sniped before it sold out - Coral Fang by the Distillers (I remember seeing it for $250 in 2020 then i picked it up from rasputin for $40) - While I don’t listen to them anymore for personal reasons, I have a copy of Italian Ghosts by Strawberry Girls signed by all 3 members of the band - Spaceship Earth by Whitewoods - technically hasn’t arrived yet but I’ve been wanting that thing for YEARS
My copy of Jane Doe by Converge, just because I'd been looking for a copy for a long while and I finally have one. I also own a signed copy of MØL's Diorama, which means a lot to me since one of my good friends went through a bit trouble to get it for me.
Hello fellow vinyl collector. Your UA-cam channel has been my favorite ever since I watched your “Disturbing albums” list, which I watched after I saw the thumbnail and (mentally) went “Woaaoooah Current 93 babeeyyy!!!”
Listened to records back in the 80s. Started to collect records myself around 2010. Right now I'm at around 1.500 records, some rare stuff like Aphex Twin "come to daddy" promo, to liquid or sand filled records. I also play everything because I wanna enjoy the music of course. I also have a nice collection of NES/SNES/Sega soundtracks from the select/start period. Just the games that I played back then.
Cool to see a video like this. Hearing you talk about things like your signed Between Two Worlds got me into vinyl collecting myself. While I only have Floral Shoppe, Late Night Delight, and two Windows96 albums it's only the beginning!
Awesome collection Pad. I guess i need to make a video of my own one day, whatever it's been in vapor documentary back in 2021. Time just flies so fast me barely remember covid days and times collecting vapor so recent. Switched direction now on video games as well - expensive prices, no doubts, but all of those things are so close to your heart jeez! All the best to you and your label bud!
I haven't been collecting consistently for about 3 years now. Recently picked up Permaculture. I'm so happy to see so many albums finally make it to wax the past few years. The only hard thing with collecting in this fandom is that it's pay now or PAY later. I'm glad to see you are doing well, mate. Hoping all the best for you this year and onwards 💪😉
Hiya Pad! Just wanna say that I’m a huge fan of your channel, and you’ve genuinely been my main source of inspiration to grow my vinyl collection! I also wanted to request if you’d make a video on the record Folk Music by Grim? I love this record to death, so I’d love to see one of my fav UA-camrs talk about one of my fav records. Thanks!
Every pad upload feels like a visit from an old friend! I’ve been following since the floral shoppe vinyl days I think so this video has been a lovely trip down memory lane❤ curious if you have any white whales or holy grails that you’re searching for?
I would like to see your collection from a Discogs account. It's fascinating (and I think that, for certain releases, actually you can look for test pressings. I remember seeing one from Gorillaz and another from ATCQ). Now let me tell you about my favorite pieces from my collection: Mitski's Be The Cowboy (coke bottle edition), Gerard Way's Hesitant Alien (Blue RSD Exclusive), Molchat Doma's Etazhi (Blue cassette), Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene (I found the same cassette my dad used to own when he was young), Gorillaz' Demon Days (Deluxe Edition CD with a DVD), and finally The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's (Japan version CD) (that last one is funny: I was once in a car and the driver put that CD on, when we got home he gave it to me, but just the CD and nothing else haha).
My favorite record was a lucky find unopened AC/DC for those about to rock we salute you at a garage sale for 50 cents. Gave it to a pal who was born the same year it was pressed for his birthday.
So this is like the greatest channel name ever. I assume it's a reference to the 2x NFL Comeback Player of the Year and the only other QB to lead his team to the top of the AFC East from 2001-2019 (with two different teams, no less). Oh, and I am a record freak, too. Hey, Onkyo receiver like me!
I think most of my favourite records in my collection are from local bands, or bands I've played shows with before, like my agapanther, and stabitha and the knifey wifey records. Another really cool one is a battletruk test pressing. OH and my welcome to the bathroom vaporwave vinyl rules
I don't really care for test pressings, but I do have a soft spot for promo/white label 45 discs that have been used. They're typically very cheap too.
As a huge shroudie, I'm still so salty about missing the Olympics drop. Praying that 100% might do another pressing someday. Great video as always, man!
Genuinely wish I could get Floral Shoppe or Luxury Elite on LP, it's kind if hard to keep tabs on the stuff I like. Though a majority of my LPs are vintage ones as little as I own. Though I guess since I'm pretty basic my favorite LPs I own are Works by ELP and in the Court of The Crimson King.
This video made me buy a copy of "Everywhere at the end of Bikini Bottom" - Well done, Pad! At the moment I'm listening to an audiobook in which the protagonist's wife is suffering from dementia, and since I've listened to EATEOT before, I guess EATEOBB will be a great thing to listen to next.
I Love Test Pressings as well. I have a Johnny Cash Test Pressing which is the only one on Discogs. It's a 1956 Sun Records. Like you have found, there is no estimated value because there haven't been any ever sold. Or owned for that matter.
Hey I'm new to record collecting. I'd like to know your personal cleaning or dusting habits, if any. I hear so many odd things that I don't think I trust enough to try myself.
Could be worth calculating so you can insure the collection. Put a rider on renter's insurance, so if your neighbor burns down the building, you can get paid for your loss.
I'll Try Living Like This Album by death's dynamic is my fav vinyl , why? i bought this when dds played a set in my city. and I took a pic with james webster while i was holding the vinyl
Where do you sell off your vinyls? Is it ebay, local website or anything else? I'm asking since I got like 100 vinyls for free some time ago and a lot of the LPs are shit hahahah
Have you heard of the artist actress . They dont really fit into any genre . Actress ghettoville is seems sometimes very inspired by vaporwave . I have to say actress albums are up there with mr. Oizo lambs anger
What is your favorite vinyl/CD/cassette you own? 💿
Probably my OG copy of Metal box by public image ltd (comes in a tin/film canister lol)
“Merriweather Post Pavilion” by Animal Collective. It was the first album I’ve ever listened to front-to-back. Not on vinyl, but just… in general.
I’d say my tour edition translucent pink copy of Veteran by JPEGMAFIA to be my fav piece in my collection. Grail to the MAX

Damn boy, I knew you told me you had an awesome vinyl collection, but this is just all so much eye candy here!

Dude, love your channel so much! Discovered all sorts of Vapor stuff from it. Would you ever do a video on punk genres? That would be super cool.
January couldn´t get better than this video

Um, I've got a vinyl of "Whenever You Need Somebody" by Rick Astley. Was 1,50€. Worth every €.
Seeing your records spin on your turntable, a lot of them seem warped?
Not sure if it fits your vibe but I'd love to send you an album I made a few years back. I only have CD copies of it tho
