First of all, I want to congratulate you on being the first person to ever react to this song. You are truly a champion of A7X reaction fans and are really getting the full experience that a lot of us were able to. It's beautiful to see. The band members on Unfortunate Snort were: Rat Head (Jimmy Sullivan) - Vocals & Piano Synyster Gates (Brian Haner Jr.) - Guitar El Diablo (Buck Silverspur) - Bass Guitar Super Loop (Derek Eglit) - Drums Justin Sane (Justin Meacham) - Keyboards You have a few requests now for other Pinkly Smooth songs, and I fully encourage McFly and Necromance Theatre. They're very provocative tracks. For other Avenged Sevenfold-adjacent endeavors outside of their discography, I want to mention The River by Good Charlotte featuring M. Shadows and Synyster Gates. That song is a certified banger, and you'll undoubtedly have to blur the music video, but it's so worth watching. The main influences for this record were Oingo Boingo and Mr. Bungle, and it's classified as avant-garde metal or goblin metal. Jimmy and Brian really enjoyed the principles of organized chaos and the idea of theatrical gothic jazz metal. This album was the perfect vehicle for them to present unorthodox writing without any boundaries. Matt loved Unfortunate Snort and encouraged Jimmy to bring these styles into Avenged Sevenfold once they took off. Songs like A Little Piece of Heaven and Save Me were the peaks of this musical chemistry. I have no idea what this song is about, so we'll just say it's an artistic storytelling song.
Funny you mention Nightmare Before Christmas. The music in that film was composed by Danny Elfman of Oingo Boingo and Jimmy was super influenced by him. It’s also been said that A Little Piece Of Heaven is directly influenced by Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo.
According to Synyster Gates, this song is about a man who kills his brother and is then dragged into hell to tell his brother why. Satan makes him choose between either him staying for eternity, or his brother. So, he chose his brother. Then the brother takes over his body and kills himself in it, for revenge.
Not many react to Pinkly Smooth because it is very unknown to many, but the way I see it is like diamond in the rough. Anything from Pinkly Smooth is a whole level of trip, but when just listening several times it is enjoyable. On the side note, I watched all of your A7X reactions, about 80+ vids at this point, and it has been great seeing you enjoy A7X overtime. Sometimes you provide critical comments or different points of views on some of the songs, regardless I still enjoyed watching your conclusion for each video for A7X. At some point you will have done all the A7X songs, but I am willing to stay for other bands reactions. So keep the hard work 👍. And Merry Christmas
Great fun. So much like a song from a musical. Really surprised me with the whole swaying atmosphere , that very much added to the telling of a story. If this is but a hint of what they've produced, hve reaction to more of their material is something to look forward to.
I remember when I first got Pinkly Smooth's Unfortunate Snort from cd baby back in 2005. First listen through was on a discman with headphones, lol, and I laughed my way through the Entire fucking album. Oh my god, the wildest, craziest, most hilarious shit I'd ever heard.
Me freaking out because nobody ever reacts to these
I'm so mad that the sound went weird. :/
@@BetterEveryDayUA-cam Yeah it was a shame but I still watched it all because it's from my favourite album of all time

Wow pinkly 🤘🤩
YESSS she’s getting to Pinkly Smooth... so off the wall and avant-garde but it’s amazing
i’m confused on what avant-garde is, i’ve never really looked into it, but if it all sounds like this, i’m fucking down for that haha
