Fun fact: the theoretically largest beetle larva has never been found by modern scientists, though its boreholes in tree stumps allow us to guess. I usually prefer mass when looking at the "biggest of something". It's less subjective and I want big and chonk. And considering we're talking about *beetles* I will have to go with the adult form and not a grub. I know they're the same species but a grub is just not a beetle yet, you know?
So my pick is the Goliath.

I think its fair to say the Goliath beetle is the largest while the other two are just more visibly impressive.
As for the larvae I can see the reasons some would maybe consider it larger over the adult version of the beetle since it ends up being the same creature. However because of metamorphosis I think its more fair to classify the different stages as their own sizes instead of all stages as a whole.
