A detail that I love about this story: Michael Ibsen, the descendant who allowed the skeleton to be identified, is a carpenter. And so he was given the honor of building the coffin in which the skeleton was buried in Leicester Cathedral.
Man if that was me I would think I was put on earth to just become a carpenter to let my great ancestor have a proper rest lmao. Good for the lad, that's a memory to keep for sure.

Trust me it's not that cool. Specially if your ancestors didn't have a good reputation. Which is my case and I used to feel embarrassed during history lessons at school. I kept my family's history for myself.
There's a British TV documentary where they figured out the exact spot the Great Fire of London started in 1666 with an old map. It was the oven in the back of a bakery back then and now it's just a sidewalk. I thought it was really cool because the existing plaque is way off.
Imagine chilling in the car, you playing games on your mobile phone and then the ghost of Richard 3 came to light and said, "What sorcery is this, young nobleman?" 💀
The coincidental "R" is so funny and at the same time very interestingly place that it feels like it was planned. I can't believe it took that long to find him! Amazing video again!

It’s incredible to see how modern technology, like DNA analysis and skeletal examination, can confirm historical accounts and even give us new insights into events like the Battle of Bosworth.
