There is only one bias in this game: “Skill issue bias”. When you shot at T-34/M4/Pz4, your APHE is no longer 75/76mm. It becomes 30mm “bushmaster” round. It doesn’t matter how many TNT in your shell, at what place you’re aiming. You will not kill him. But he will. He will penetrate your tank in the most thick part and one shot you. Because Gaijin wants more players. More players - more money. And in order to hold them, game becomes more loyal for them. Even in 10.0 BR.
As an old school warthunder player it’s kind of funny to think Russian bias was once an extremely obvious and accepted part of the game with all sorts of hilarious “justifications” for it. At one point Soviet tanks used to sit at a near universal 80% win rate at worst while German tanks could struggle to destroy the milk truck. I remember a mod trying to justify while Soviet planes used to instantly extinguish themselves as the lament used on them just could not burn. It was so bad back then that the meme has actually stuck around even though most of the active player base wasn’t even around during that time.
Realistically speaking, Late war, 1944 - 1945 the germans lacked sufficient metal they used previously on the vehicles prior too mid '44, The composite armour stockpile depleted, sufficient parts Depleted, Industrial capability & Material Storage Depleted and exhausted. Because of the shortgae the german's had too avet from the complex armour they previously used, too just Average Metal. Soo that It isn't a nerf too germany, it is historically accurate too their situation at the time.
@@Sgtlake I remember the old nerf to the armor protection and it heavily effected the tiger II and lowered the armor protector just enough for the IS-2 to easily punch through. It might have had a historical back drop, but it was very clearly done only to give a hand up to the IS-2 especially since no other nations mechanical or quality control issues where represented outside of what was Germanys highest tier tank so it could be easy pickings for Soviet tanks.
I can say for a fact that the 12.5mm and 14.5mm mounted on the top of most cold War soviet tanks behave exactly like the one in this video. Pure anti helicopter material.
