      Thank You 🌹 that is Nice of You. I'm a 60 year old/young woman. You Inspired Me. It's True, it's never too late, as long as I'm still breathing. Someday I will buy my own house, not sure how, but something in my brain will click. Anyway, I don't think I really made any sense. Here's a tip to sounding smart - Work on your charisma, say as little as possible. think in logic i.e premise conclusion. use non committal words potentially, perhaps, possibly, be aloof. where ever you are leave early.

    Many of the words you chose throughout the video are transition words. The definition is as follows.
    Transitions. Transition words and phrases are used to relate ideas. Writers may usetransitions within paragraphs or between paragraphs so that ideas flow smoothly between sentences and between paragraphs.
    A quick search on-line can yield you with a comprehensive list of very useful words.

    i really needed this video because i cannot speak at all and the speech classes i took in elementary didn’t help. i jumble a lot of my words to together, i stutter, and i use a lot of “ummm’s” and “uhhh’s” while speaking. i also have problems with subject verb agreements.

    hi sweety how r u? I have found something significant for myself in this video because I feel that I am not good enough speak common english or also I feel some way that sometimes I won't able express my thoughts in front of others. you will not believe that I had seen first video ' how to sound more confident and smart' from UA-cam n after that you have become my favourite. thanks dear for being here. I'm practicing on your all ideas but still if you find something good for people like me who don't know to speak and also have problem with language please share.

      My beautiful friend, you're so amazing and I'm so thankful that you're here! One thing that really helped me was watching movies, pausing and repeating what was said. In time and with practice you will absolutely speak so perfectly, just you watch! The mental perspective is half the battle. Start feeling as of right now what it's like to speak the way you want to speak, visualize that into existence and practice daily. Sending you so much love!!

    @stephaniebrooke5656 4 роки тому +10

    recap:
    (1)Cut down the filler language such as: I mean, umm, like, you know.
    (2)Use high-level common words:
    For example, use:
    However, instead of but
    Intelligent instead of smart
    Tremendous instead of great
    Essentially instead of basically
    Frequently instead of often
    Numerous instead of several
    Perhaps instead of maybe
    Splendid or outstanding instead of awesome
    Likewise instead of also
    Unusual instead of different
    Occupied instead of busy
    Posses instead of own incoherent instead of mumbling
    Paradox: a statement that contradicts itself
    Fiasco: a complete failure or collapse
    (3)Use 10 words and replace them with their more smart-sounding counterparts and make sure they are used appropriately.
    (4) Try elevating your introductions: instead of hi nice to meet you, try: “how do you do?” Or “pleasure meeting you”
    (5)Try using detail when you speak because it shows a deeper understanding of a situation.
    Example: rather than saying: "the meeting sucked!" You would say "the meeting was productive because we weren't able to reach a mutual agreement"
    (6) Look for more information: Intelligent people ask questions. When asking the right questions in the right way, you are showing that you are putting thought into the conversation and are looking to understand it. Ask questions that look at understanding long term goals or dive deeper into a situation. For example, your question might sound like: "What do you think would make this more efficient?" or "How does that go in line with your goals?"

    • @mylifematters6237
      @mylifematters6237 3 роки тому

      People use big words and extra detail because their trying so hard to impress other people. They wanna give the impression that their a genius. If anything, these people make themselves look and sound stupid. Im not trying to be mean and I know you mean well but all that stuff is unnecessary. I once had a conversation with a Co worker who was talking complicated language( long words, too much details). I had to open the dictionary after he finished talking. Was that really necessary? Whats wrong with using simple words people could easily understand? If I use big words when I talk, whats the end result? What did I accomplish? People now think Im intelligent? Okay, why should I feel the need to impress people? What exactly are they doing for me to the point where I need to impress them?
      This kind of thing comes from insecurity. Insecure people often feel like they have to impress strangers, freinds, and Co workers. I think people using all that fancy talk are show offs trying to increase their sagging self esteem.

    You can’t fake intelligence tbh, whether that is emotional or knowledge based. You just have to improve yourself. Even scientists will be considered not intelligent if they don’t use reason. Just use your rationality, be humble and speak wisely and you will be fine. No need for sophisticated vocabulary. The more topics you are aware of, the more you can speak about. Some of the topics you can speak years about are: religions, history, science, and just daily things that happen every moment. Find something you are interested in talking about and you won’t have to worry about what other people think of you.
    May Allah guide you all to Islam.
