Hi! Please, find the formulas for roots lightening and hair toning below🙌:
👍 Roots lightening:
40 g of bleach powder (high quality, 9+ levels promised by producer) + 80 g of 3% (10 vol) developer + 4 g plex defender (stage 1 bond enhancer)
✅ products for this:
1) bleach powder: amzn.to/49dzYS5
2) 10 vol developer: amzn.to/49aoFdm
or
1+2) bleach + 10 vol developer together: amzn.to/419NoN0
3) plex defender: amzn.to/419ZndC
20 minutes application + 30 minutes additional waiting
❗ if your roots grew by 1-1.5 cm, take 50 g of bleach powder
❗ do not bleach your roots using this technique, if they grew 1.5+ cm, otherwise you will get a brassy yellow line!

I'm using Londa Demi-Permanent dyes for toning, and Schwarzkopf Blondeme bleach powder for roots lightening.
Good luck to you!🍀

Hi there, I have a similar natural hair color as you do (mainly level 7, partially bit lighter, partially a bit darker: level 5 artificial color doesn't look crazy next to my natural roots, level 7 CAN look too light, level 6 CAN look darker though, depends on the specific color).
I also use 6 volume developer for my roots, but only if I have a lot of time. If I don't, I use 20 volume (never go above that though). And I can get my hair almost white with both. For longer hair I'd always recommend the lowest volume one could use. I have short hair, so I don't care as much about that.
You shared some very important and valid information, I hope a lot of people see this BEFORE trying to go blonde or trying to touch up their roots. Because yes, anyone could go blonde, even those with super dark hair. But the process will be a bit different for darker hair. Level 7 is quite easy to lift to a very light color, level 4 isn't as easy anymore. Often times darker hair also requires a more intense/more pigmented toner after bleaching. And it is very important to pick the right toner to achieve a nice blonde. I've seen so many mistakes being done by many people, even professionals. That's really the only reason why I wanted to point that out.
What one can do, if their bleach doesn't lift light enough within 50 minutes: Apply a freshly mixed batch right over top. That assures that the bleach still lifts during that process. But always check for your hair's integrity (by pulling on a small strand, it shouldn't stretch at all, if it starts to stretch only the slightest bit, you definitely went too far). Bleach isn't low impact, it's high impact and should always be handled with care.
Aside from that: The thicker and the more dense your hair, the finer your sections should be and the more product you'll need.
About your results: super nice, very pretty, love it on you and you're overall super beautiful imho. Very well done, good job at explaining things and it's also easy to understand imho. You're such a cutie, it's very enjoyable to watch you through the process.
OMG I'm so touched with your words!💔 Thank you!😊 Also, thank you for such a long and comprehensive comment! You added many useful insights, I'll pin it👍
I don't want to unpin this comment, so for those looking for product links (there have been several requests already) - I've added everything in the description under this video🙌
The roots are very small that's why the 6 vol worked as the heat of the scalp helped the developer to work more efficiently. If the roots are more grown it would be hard to achieve this level in one go I believe. I really like how it looked on you.
Do not mix with a mixer or use any metal like a bowl or a fork, idk.
Nice vid btw :)
Thanks for the tip!👀
@@konlissalanovait’s true. The metal oxidizes the die! But also your plex and the amount of peroxide you used also weakens the blend. Just so you know. I’m a professional hairdresser colorist ❤
Beautiful colour, and great application. The end result is perfect!
Thank you! Cheers!🤗☀️
This is the first time I watched such a clear video about hair dye. thanks. good luck.🎉❤😊

Glad it was helpful!❤️❤️❤️
Bleach isn't hair dye, but ok.
@ what about demi-permanent dyes?🙂
Beautiful blond❤ and its a good advice to not let the roots grow too much because the warmth of the sculp will not be enough to lift the colour up enough if the roots are more than 2 cm. I know that also from my expierence 😊❤
Exactly🫶😎
Your title is wrong, first as a hairdresser, I don't keep secret from my client, If a blonde can be achievable and they want to do it at home, I prefer explain to them how to do it than they come back with damage hair and hope me to repair it because sometimes it is just not possible, the hair is completely died and it is really sad and emotionally suffering for the person. Second, NOT anyone can be blonde, yes but not necessary in one session because we don't want the hair to break off. It depends on the level of your hair, if you are a 7 like you, yes it is easier but less easier if you are a level 2 by example and it has to be natural hair like a regrow. It is not the same if your hair is already coloured, trying to get a platinum blonde with a level 5 box die hair in example is really more difficult and will probably take more than one session, it has to be progressive to keep your hair healthy. For the rest of your video, you were right, sections and soaking the hair is really important to get a clean result not a patchy one, not letting the toner to long where your hair is more porous is a good advice too. Finally, your result is well done and beautiful.
👏👏👏👏👏
Exactly when it comes to your hair you should want nothing but the best care to be honest . Not everyones hair will turn out like this woman's.
It’s called “clickbait”.
I bleach my black hair (dye with a box for 5€) in White and everythings okay for my hair
☝️🤓
That final color is the bomb, it looks like you are born with it because it suits your skin tone and your eye color. You look like the singer Kerli.
Thank you!💘
Great technique but my suggestion would be to work horizontally in the back. The hair will flip forward and still have good air flow in between
Yes. Hopefully, she takes this advice because I thought the same.
Well done..looks amazing..x
Thank you so much🙏😊
I am darker, maybe Level 6 or 5. For years I bleach my hair with Fanola, 6%/20vol developer, and olaplex. Afterwards I tone it or sometimes just purple shampoo, and i am solid platinum blonde / silver. I bleach on a regular basis. I wait 6 weeks max or max 1,5cm growth. Just make sure to not overlap too much, and avoid exessive heat. I never understood why hairdressers never bleach solid to a level 10. It works fine! If your hair is lighter you'll need a less strong developer of course.
Hairdressers don't push it all the way to a 10 generally because there's a significant risk of overprocessing and therefore breakage.
@@tinasparkles2434 then how come I (who never learned hairdressing professionally) am able to achieve it without ending up with lots of breakage and damage?
Olaplex ruined my hair !!!
@@lila2880 have you used it while using keratin products? or shortly before / after having anything with keratin? Thats mostly the reason why people think Olaplex ruins their hair. KEratin sadly is in so many drugstore producty nowadays so be careful, read the ingredients of the products you buy.
@@lila2880 have you used olaplex while using keratin products?
Very lovely result! This process takes patience and precision-you did a very accurate application. May I suggest that you don’t use elastic bands when sectioning your hair? They will cause breakage! Use clips instead. Greetings from the US!
Thank you for complimenting my work😊 Good suggestion, I’ve heard this before, your comment is my sign to finally follow this🫡
I’m so happy I have my natural hair color I feel so free and don’t need to worry if my hair is perfect or not

Maravilhoso seu tutorial! Você é muito cuidadosa e detalhista, tanto para cuidar do seu cabelo quanto para explicar e mostrar no vídeo. Parabéns! Lindíssimo cabelo! 💐💕
Thank you so much!🫶🤗
It is a lot of work! But the result is very good, it looks also good in you!!!!
Absolutely beautiful ! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎉
Thank you🤗 Happy holidays!🫶❤️
This looks amazing on you. Wish I was brave enough to try. Great video 😘
If you got a little cut, your hair would look 100% more healthier. Not a lot, like 2inches would make a huge difference.
Thank you : 3%+powder bleach +accelerator ❤
Lindo o seu tom de loiro! Amei a dica de usar um revelador mais baixo na descoloração com intensificador, vou experimentar! Meu cabelo é muito frágil e tenho dificuldade pra clarear sem danificar.
Obrigada!
Soo beautiful thank you ❤😍
My pleasure 😊 Good luck in your coloration🤞🏻
Outstanding! Clear instructions are appreciated!❤
Thanks so much!😊
Its one of the most common things people get wrong blonding hair at home. Over processing can occur leading to hair breaking down and turning the texture of cotton candy. Strand tests should ne done first. Level 7 is dark blonde. The reason why so many if us ex-hairdressers used to refuse to blonde black asian hair is due to how much damage it can do and still doesnt guarantee a blonde result.
Огромное спасибо за такой подробный мастер класс в домашних условиях!!!❤🔥 Отдельно респект за рецепты💗. НО, красить волосы каждые 3 недели, это так проблематично, что уже никакого блонда не захочешь😢😢😢
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!🙂
You have beautiful healthy long hair! 😍💖
Thank you🥹🌞
Hair is not healthy, it's dead
Looks like your hair is more about a level 6… depending on the bleach brand you can achieve this blonde with even a lower developer, just leaving the bleach in for at least up to 50 minutes. With blonde me and 7 vol on roots like this length it’s no problem for a lvl 6 hair 😊
True. Her natural is light already
Yeah not quite a 7. At least a 6
@BradMondo is she a genius? 🤯
🫣🥹💘
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very explicative video, thank you.
The only problem is that if i buy and use all the needed products that you used, it will nearly cost me a little bit less than visiting a hair salon.
Nevertheless, the trick of using pure violet on the roots is helpful. Is it for removing yellowness;
Also, all these numbers of dyes for toners that you used, can be replaced by another company like Scwarzkopf Igora or Wella Koleston perfect?
I believe they have the same shades, like 10.81 or 10.36.
Yes, it’s for yellowness removal, but pay attention to my instructions, so that you do not get violet roots😬☝🏻 And yes, you can replace, numbers mean same color directions🤗
the shade levels (the first number, 1-10) are standardised between brands, but the tone (the number after the dash or dot) is not. so a 10-3 in wella is different to a 10-3 in schwarzkopf. some brands use letters instead of numbers.
@@Hazelcake wow, I’ve checked and you are right, numbers really differ in Schwarzkopf🤯 I used several brands (except of this), and they were the same. Right point about the letters - so one should check how color shade is called in text, and find the corresponding direction in other brands’ product proposals (either marked with letters or numbers). I’ll add this in video description information. Thank you for pointing this out🙏
So true, when I was blonde I was doing exactly this, but now I'm into henna and rubbia herbal coloring so my hair is reddish.
Very good job! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you💞😌
Moça ficou lindíssimo!!! Só que, que trabalho que dá!!!
Obrigado!💘
Ваш английский я понимаю❤
Amei o resultado, não sabia que era possível chegar a esse tom com volume tão baixo.

Hi! I'm sorry for such a late response🙏
Schwarzkopf blondme bleach: no.makeupstore.com/product/761171/ (9 levels is currently absent, you may search in another store, but I think 7 will be good as well);
Matrix 3% developer for bleach: no.makeupstore.com/product/12859/
Londa 1.9% developer for toning: no.makeupstore.com/product/234793/
Londa professional demi-permanent dye (orange package): no.makeupstore.com/product/234749/ (currently needed color directions are absent, you may search in other stores);
Londa direct pigment for neutralization: no.makeupstore.com/product/234749/ (0/6 is also good)
Any plex #1 to add to bleach
Hope this will help🙏
so.. low vol developer, hair protector and make it very watery?
What is hair if already dyed in darker shade of brown?? Should we do the same?
You should first bleach the length using foil, and then bleach the roots + tone as I showed on this video. Please, be accurate and first make a test on a small part of hair from the back🙏
@@konlissalanova thanks for the response , Brad mondo suggested to used 32 volume.. my hair is not only thick, like super thick, but also rough and dry, I've got my done bleach in past from bunch of salons, strange part is they were able to achieve the desired color in one go, except for once.. what do you suggest?
Try some color off or some colour removal propäduct before bleaching. You hair will lighten better. Go for 6% oxygent or lover
Perfect!
😍 thank you!
Pretty 😊❤
Thank you💘
Level 7 would be already blond (with yellow and orange). Your roots look 4 to 5 which is a Brown/Dark brown. *If your hair is VIRGIN means never ever dyed or at least grown out of its natural -> its easy to go 5~9 levels up by one dye process to become that white blond.
However the developer should be not the maximum, otherwise it could burn your hair-skin
I have level 7 blonde hair and go platinum, level 7 can look darker whilst compared to artificial platinum color.
Yeah definitely not level 7
6 at least
How to bleach when roots are more than 2cm?
I didn’t have such an experience by myself, but as far as I know you should bleach using foil when it’s 2+ cm😓 unless you want an orange line somewhere near the roots😬 and bleaching with foil seems to be way more complicated… I suppose another method is to bleach as I did, get this orange line but then bleach it separately one more time, using a new mixture. But this may be less accurate and less safe for the rest of hair + it depends on how much grown up hair you have, if it is 5 cm it will not work out in any case I think😔
Hairdresser here ✋️ ..you apply the bleach off-scalp first, avoiding the area thats 1.5cm from the root. Apply there first, process it until it turns dark yellow. Then wash your hair, dry it, and reapply from roots and over the area you just bleached again. You must take care not to apply the bleach to the rest of your hair that's already blonde.
In a salon, we would not wash the hair in between, but just go back in once the mid-root has lightened adequately, and do the on-scalp portion. However because this can be messy when doing it yourself, i suggest the first method. I strongly suggest you dont allow your roots to overgrow before doing a touch up in future as it becomes more complicated to do.
I only bleach my roots 2-3 times a year. Then I have about 5cm. Its never a problem. I do this for 20 years now. My hair is platinum and tailbone lenght☺️ and people think it is my natural color
Yellow roots was beautiful
👀
Arg, I overdue doing mine. Wish someone could do it for me lol.
🙃
If you do this, make sure you're no darker than a natural level 7. You've been warned.
👍🏻
Will it work if i mix the toner with a hairmask instead of a light developer?
Do you mean demi-permanent hair dyes under the “toner”? Please, check this🙏 Because if you do, then you cannot, as ammonia or its analogues used there need oxidation, that’s how these products were designed. So they can spoil hair if used improperly, and what’s most important - you will not get the desired result💔
I suggest checking your toner’s instructions🙏
No, a proper toner needs oxidation.
Nunca se debe mezclar con elementos de metal
The hair dyes are Demi permanent? 10/81 is lightest pearl blonde and 10/6 is lightest violet blonde ? 0/00 is clear or silver? Correct?
Yes, correct🙌🏻 but 0/00 is clear☺️
Why you didn’t put the violet in the second mixture? 😂
Or just using a tone with violet in it itself in the first place !😂
I did put😮 It is 10/81 color direction, you may find the detailed formulas in description under the video🤗 Or you mean direct pigment, the 1 g of violet I took for neutralization stage?

Don't understand anything but nice colour
Eu só não entendi onde está o segredo!
Normalmente levam 6-9% (20-30 vol) de revelador, o que torna o pelo demasiado morto para permitir que o seu dono use um comprimento loiro tão claro durante mais de 1-2 anos.
You probably could’ve just toned your hair w a 20vol instead of bleaching it.

The sound of the splash giving me nasty vibes in the bedroom. 😂

Yes, I heard, but I hope it will not😓 as of now all is good, I’m 4 years on special blonde + last 1,5 on bleach🙂
Dios mío!! Está chica coloca el polvo decolorante tocando el cuero cabelludo!!! Lo que se puede quedar calva o la picazón que eso genera . Todo mal hizo
I don’t think so!🤗 I am using only a 3% developer!🤯 It makes the mixture sooo gentle I barely feel the warmth on my head after 50 minutes😁 If you take 9%, that’s a whole another story☝🏻
Yikes! Shouldn't scrub/rub it in like that! You don't need to.
I don’t see the lie of hairdresser ?
They usually take 6-9% (20-30 vol) developer, which makes hair too killed to let its owner wear such a light blonde length for more than 1-2 years.
