Dude, you’re the reason I’ve two GH3s and a GH4 so as silly as it is seeing you return to the GH3 (even for a moment) really made me smile. Great video as always.
The 12-35 is my oldest piece of camera gear. Originally got it for my G85 and is a reminder that I really do 'marry' a lens and date a body.

It’s easy to get caught up watching videos about xyz gear that supposedly will make your videos so much better, but watching you take old or cheap gear and make the most out of it is so inspiring to me and makes me feel like just going and creating with what I already have.

Two of these hacks I've been using for a while now with my G85, the wireless remote for focusing and I have a small Saramonic XLR preamp that I got for 20 bucks. Good idea to attach the cold shoe. I'll have to try that.

I’ve just invested in a gh6 and the auto focus is brilliant compared to my g85 in 4k - and the video produced is amazing - I’m on version 2.2 and we are likely to get more firmware updates
I love how you keep going back to the GH3! Haha! My A and B cams are Lumix S5 bodies, but my C cam is still my GH5. For all its flaws, It's still such a great camera that I can't see myself selling it for at least a couple more years.
The Gh3 is a legend and low key nostalgic to me so it keeps pulling me back haha

I do like the look of it rigged out but I got into m4/3 because of how compact and feature rich it so rigging out isn't the thing for me but awesome video . Also from your video of the lumix g85 I also got one for myself and now I am absolutely love it, awesome little thing !

The smallrig v mount Batteries are actually a bit pricy I think. But I guess they work good. Only thing is they look good like 2 weeks. And after some handling the LCD is scratched up and you don't see anything in the sun 😅

is it possible to get V Log on the GH3????
no V-log is before the Gh3's time, but I'm working on some LUTs and profiles setting specific for the GH3 that I'll release soon
cool, also, someone was asking me about the GH3 and their 7Artisans 7.5mm fisheye lens.
They can’t get the image dark enough on a bright day even when the ISO is down, the shutter speed is at 500 and the aperture is closed because an ND filter can’t screw on the this lens.
Did you ever experience anything like with filming skateboarding with the GH3?
@@isaacburke2370 hmmm that's definitely strange, that lens can stop down to f22, which should be more than dark enough even at high noon with no clouds especially on a camera like the gh3 which is not light sensitive at all. With a fisheye you don't want or need a shallow depth of field, so stopping down the aperture is the best way to darken your image.
@@NigelBarros Yeah I was baffled too, I haven’t been able to see it myself. The lens only goes to 16 actually and the ISO doesn’t go below 200 on the GH3 either I believe. Anyways, no worries

Why not get a GH6 ? I say go for the best MFT camera, try it out, go wild.
