I love your Queen reactions, thanks dear! You must " to see the 20 minutes long of Live Aid, is mandatory... lol... in fact never I saw this video blocked ... big hug! 🎉
Thanks for your reaction. Here is another beautiful concert performance from early Queen. "White Queen (As It Began) - Live At The Hammersmith Odeon 1975" Brian wrote it, Freddie sings it, and then they have a stunning piano & guitar musical interlude in the middle. Gorgeous.
re: Live Aid comment. Not upset that you didn't review the Live Aid in total, just some of the songs were designed to flow into one another. (Queen does a LOT of medleys in concert). Plus the beauty of that performance is how well Queen did with a very limited time frame. They never went over their alloted 20 minutes & yet gave the audience everything a person could want in a concert. In my humble opinion, I never understand why folks want reactors who are new to react to Queen to do Live Aid first. Better to get more Queen under their belt. Because what we OOOh & Aaaah at is how Queen gave a condensed version of everything they do in their 2 hour concert in just 20 minutes & won the audience.
I love this song, it was one early Queen songs that really piqued my interest in the band. My favorite part of this song is when Freddie sings "Drop of a hat" the way he dances those notes is fantastic. Next Queen: White Queen live at Odeon, Hammersmith 1975. You will love it, I promise you. Honestly, Live Aid should be viewed as the whole set since some of the songs were shortened or sped up to fit them all into the 20 minute time slot. The reason I think it is important to do the whole show is that this band always pays attention to the flow of a show and there is a lot to be admired in that. You will also get an appreciation of how Freddie works a show in a very short little set. To have seen Queen live, you would literally be taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride, they opened with an electrical punch, worked the crowd into a frenzy, brought them down, made us feel safe, then took us back up to end the show on such a high note that you were dazzled for days. Freddie had a magic on stage like no one else. I don't get angry when people pick a song from Live Aid but I also might not come over to listen to it because I know that singled out, it will be so disappointing having seen the show so many times in the past. It is always a let down. Queen albums are the same way, meant to be listened to from start to finish if you want to truly enjoy them as the masterpieces that they were. Single songs live are fine but there is nothing like a Queen Concert, you really feel like you have become personal friends with each member of the band...and with Live Aid, you really feel like you are there and part of it all.
Now I'm here from Wembley 1986 Saturday night they tock 73,000 people.this was Freddie's last tour,as his health declined. May i suggest that you always source videos from the Queen official channel, they extremely rarely copyright strike. Just subscribed. Blessings from England x
The long hair is from the early days of Queen. They started going shorter in the late 70's. Brian has mostly maintained his at a longer length. Check out "Stone Cold Crazy" at The Rainbow 1974. It appears on their 3rd album but was the first song played at their first gig as "Queen" in 1970 (according to, then, bass player Mike Grose). At the time, the lead singer was known as Fred Bulsara. Cheers!
Hi! Maybe react to Somebody To Love, the official video, the “layering”…you can see them doing it. There’s a lot of the Live Aid performance as a whole that’s just the flow and in between songs things that Freddie does…that’s why everyone says to react to the whole thing. Seeing him effortlessly (it looks that way, anyway) jump from the piano to moving around, and…well, there’s a lot. Oh well…
Live Aid is known as the best 20 minutes in our history. Every reactor on UA-cam has has done it in 20 minutes. It’s a shame not to do it that way . You destroy the whole thing by taking it apart.
Great reaction, thank you! I second the opinion that you really need to do the whole Live Aid performance to gauge how great it was as a whole, you won’t regret it & the Queen fans will most certainly watch it! Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Killer Queen was one song which was really out of the format that I usually write in, said Freddie in a 1974 interview. „Usually the music comes first, but the words came to me, and the sophisticated style that I wanted to put across in the song came first. No, I’d never really met a woman like that. A lot of my songs are fantasy.” I wrote it in one night. „I scribbled down the words in the dark one Saturday night and the next morning I got them all together and I worked all day Sunday and that was it.” Roger said: “Killer Queen always felt a bit special. It was very sophisticated and it was very Freddie! It had a slightly Noël Coward element in it.”
Excellent reaction! I just happened upon your channel just today, it came up on my feed and thought to watch it, so I am new to this channel. In Live Aid 1985 each band that had participated in that benefit concert, had about 20 minutes to play their music, which means you may not listen to the entire song as we know it, maybe that is why some of your subscribers became upset, I am just guessing. You do have the option of reacting to both official video as we heard it from radio stations, no auto tune back then just pure talented voices, and then there are the live versions when they perform the songs on stage. Keep in mind, when you do react to the entire Live Aid concert, the audience there intended to listen to their favorite band or bands on stage, they are not a total Queen audience. I can tell you this much, Queen stole the show that day! Another thing to keep in mind, live performances will sound slightly different from the studio recorded version and that was intended by Queen, they always sang live! No extra backup singers, those background vocals are from Roger Taylor and Brian May. I would suggest giving them both a try because you'll be treated to know what the song originally sounded like; and then when you react to the songs played live, that will be a bonus treat for you to experience. It will blow your mind! Peace. ☮
You are making a HUGE mistake not doing the entire Live Aid concert. The 20-minute slot of QUEEN at Live Aid is considered the best rock concert ever!.
Freddie with long hair and no mustache is the early 70’s, short hair and no mustache is late 70’s, shorter hair and mustache the 80’s, beard and thinner appearance is the 90’s
This was a departure from their early ones, try Death on two legs that's a belter (don't piss Freddie off!) & of course there's always Somebody to love live at Montreal 81. Live Aid doesn't get blocked. ❤❤❤
Live Aide is the best recorded concert ever. Try Who Wants to Live Forever, live at Budapest. 97.8% of Queen live recordings are better live than studio versions.
Duane you still need to do the 20 minutes of Live Aid, its a must for new Queen listeners.PLEASE DO IT😂
White Queen, a beautiful marriage of Freddie's haunting vocals, mad piano and beautiful guitar by Dr Brian, incredible 💯✌️
Yes, White Queen live at Odeon, Hammersmith 1975. It is a mind blowing performance.
The pinnacle for me WHITE QUEEN with Freddie’s piano and Brian’s guitar singing to each other 🥰👑💛

It's called the Queen choir.
One of my favorites of Queen! I think it was the first I knew the lyrics to!

Somebody to love live in Montreal, stunning performance.

Anything from the official Queen site won't be blocked.
Queen realize that the fans love the music and this is another way to get new fans.
Can’t believe this song is 50 years old!
Please check out George Michael's version of Queen's Somebody To Love during the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert they did after he died ☺

Brian May has recently said that this solo is the one he's most proud of!

My favorite Queen song.
Queen fans will get upset lol live aid the whole set is a must. As far as Live performances, pick one, it’ll be awesome no matter what it is
Live Aide...the whole 20 minutes is a must do. The day music history changed.😂❤

I think Freddie really wanted to be a Killer Queen. My favorite part is the meow just before "playful as a pussy cat".

I can give you many, many more.
this was a fun video
I'm supposedly related to Marie Antoinette although I don't like admitting it 😅
1:47 Please reaction Queen - Liar Live at the rainbow 😭😭😭🥺🥺
I wouldn’t react to Top of the Pops. They weren’t really playing their instruments and I believe they made them lip sync.
