I ordered the Maybelline Skin Tint a couple of days ago. I was torn between it and the L'Oreal. I watched your review of the two and chose the Maybelline. I haven't received it yet, but this video makes me feel even more sure that I made the right choice. I really appreciate and use your reviews.
Tree Hut body butters are amazing. They smell delicious and leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Also, their Tropic Glow scent smells exactly like the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream.
totally feel you on the redken packaging!!! i miss the old packaging they had, so much easier to squeeze out the product and the bottles didn't get all wonky in the shower
I started using the Hempz Birthday Cake Lotion at your suggestion. Love it! Have you tried the Hempz Vanilla Frost Mountain? I literally bought like 10 of those since it's supposed to be limited edition. So delicious!
Can you possibly do a show down of face mists and your opinion on them for benefiting the skin? I’m really curious about the really popular face mists on the market like LRP thermal springs water, Caudalie Grape water, Avene thermal spring water and more. Hope you would consider this idea. Have a great day, been your subscriber for one year now!❤️
Please please review some non soap, ph balanced shampoo bars. So many on the market and I would love your opinion. Also, the volume and body from pantene is so good at clarifying even though it's a shampoo meant for frequent use. Just goes to show how stripping and drying drugstore hair care is. I feel like there definitely needs to be a balance between gentle and deep cleaning shampoos.
Hi Abbey, I would love for you to review L’Oréal Paris Le Color Gloss One Step In-Shower Toning Hair Gloss. I have been using it and it makes my hair so soft. Wondering if it's actually good for my hair.
I would try Epionce Products. The Lytic gel cleanser is amazing, people rave about the lytic tx, and I love their renewal and intensive moisturizer cream. Glytone brightening serum or lotion and I definitely am loving glymed products too. Revision skincare Vitamin C and their eye cream. I use Epionce and have experience all the things you have with acne, etc. Epionce has become my go too nighttime and Glymed my morning. I love glytone for the glycolic acid and use once a week.
I’ve personally been looking at the Prequel Lucent-C Vitamin C serum. If it’s also on your list I’d love to hear your thoughts:) Also I started tretinoin and tried out the Maybelline lash sensational after your recommendations, thanks!!!
I don't film content since I'm not a content creator lol and I still hate how the bottles get like that. I try to fix them but it doesn't really work especially if they're very close to empty.
How does Byoma balancing face mist compare to the Laneige cream skin mist? I’ve been using the laneige skin mist for over a year now and loce it. I like the price of the Byoma mist better, but I’m a little hesitant to switch over 😬
Confession here: my really nice shampoo and conditioner go in a drawer in bathroom and get wiped dry after each use. I’ve found if you shake bottle good first there is less of that middle erosion line.
Hi Abbey! Do you have any suggestions for non fragranced dry shampoo? I keep buying the not your mothers that you recommended but every bottle I get won’t spray! Everything with fragrance gives me a headache. Thanks!!!
@AbbeyYung I really love your videos! They have helped me so much with my hair journey!❤I also just wondering if it is damageing to have a protein hairmask in for about 20 min when it only says 5 min on the package? I have read it some places but dont understand which type of damage it can make and how I can see if my hair got damaged from it? Thankyou som much!❤️
i actually love that you talk about the same products often because it’s not gimmicky like some other influencers who seem to be obsessed with a different product every week. so i love that you’re authentic about your products and recommend the same ones yet are always trying new products against your tried and trues. thanks abbey 🫶🏼
Does the Hada Labo cleansing oil smell like olive oil? I can’t use DHC cleansing oil anymore because for ME, it just has a strong smell of olive oil, and that is a no for me. Right now, I’m using the Bioderma cleansing oil, and I really like it.
Hi, just curious, why don’t you use pharmacy available tretinoin? It is much cheaper. Are there any benefits to using apostrophe? Loved the video though ❤️😍
So I don't know if I'm just really late to the game, but I've been watching you for a while now. At least 5 months now, and I see you do not ever buy or review Olay products. Is there a reason? I don't know if I missed something.
I love the Maybelline Serum Foundation soooooooooo much but I just wish it came in a lighter shade! I am already using the lightest one available and it's still too dark for me 😭
16:35 haha I am literally putting my hard as hoof on my nails and cuticles right now because it’s in the single digits with the wind chill… in NC!!!! At the beach!!!!
Hey Abby, I watch a ton of your videos but I’m more of a hair girlie than makeup but right now my biggest issue is hair washing when I work out. I’m trying to work out every day and I NEED to wash my hair. Any tips or products that could help?
My experience with the Purito cleansing oil has been super inconsistent. I first purchased it way back in March of 2021 and loved it. I repurchased in December of the same year and it smelled absolutely rotten and I had to return it. 😢
The Maybelline skin tint has been out of stock in every Walgreens CVS and Walmart that is within reasonable distance from where I live in Puerto Rico for about two months now. The only shades they have left are the lightest and the darkest. Nothing in between. It's getting ridiculous. All the cashiers tell me they have no idea when they're getting restocked.
Heyy! I know you work with apostrophe but are there any other tretinoin /retinoid etc. products you’d recommend. I live in Europe and don’t have access to apostrophe.
Wow I was about to suggest Agency or Curology but then I checked an they don't prescribe outside the U.S. It makes sense because they would need to be licensed outside the U.S an that probably is not an easy thing. There must be something for people outside the U.S. You could try finding a dermatologist from Europe that has a channel and asking them if there is a similar online service there, surely there must be 🤔 I guess this is one perk of living in the U.S. cause trust me there aren't many these days! Good luck!!
You should do a beauty resolutions video! My resolution is to stop buying too many backups because something new keeps coming along and then I'm sad because I have to use up all my backups before getting to it!
Omg I do the same thing! I will buy two or three backups of something that I absolutely love and then they don’t get used because I find something else. I have to quit doing it.
I just started using Epres around the holidays after getting their discounted holiday set for myself. My hair has never felt or looked better! It feels like I’ve unlocked a whole new world of amazing hair!
I know Saeed Ghani is a Pakistani brand (so affordable) but there products are AMAZING I would really recommend them if you can get your hands on them (Vincé vitamin C serum is great)
I started using Tretnoin through curology because of you and it's been about 18 months now and most of my acne scarring is gone! I can't thank you enough for making so many informative videos and taking the time to research as much as you do! And not that I mind aging, but my forehead line is almost non existent also!
Hello Abbey. Could you perhaps review L'Oréal Professionel Vitamino Colour 10-in-1 Leave-In Spray? From what I see in the InciDecoder website, the ingredients in that leave-in conditioner are very similar to Pureology Colour Fanatic's (the first five are identical). I wanna see how similar (or dissimilar) those two products really are when applied, as Pureology is not available anywhere in my country. But really tho, I wish you could do a review of or even a deep dive into L'Oréal Professionel products. Thank you, love your videos 🙏🏼.
Hi Abbey do you know if there is any hair straightening treatment that is not damaging? I would like to embrace my wavy and frizyz hair but it just doesn't work with my lifestyle.
Abbey, you NEED to get your hands on the Hempz Vanilla Frost lotion! It came out this Christmas and it's even better than the birthday cake! I'm going to buy back ups, it's that good! Also, DHC cleansing oil is better than Hado Labo!
Everything I see someone loving on hemp. I feel the need to ask.. is it cheap for you because up here in Canada the reg smallish sized bottles are almost $40.
Hi Abbey! I just started using the Maelove Glowmaker. Has Vitamins C (15% L-ascorbic acid), E, Ferulic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid. Would love if you did a review on it. ALSO, I am really curious to know if using too many bond-type hair products within a hair routine is not good? Thanks for all you do!
13:40 as frustrating as it seems, its actually a good thing when brands make their branding rub off easily like that! It makes it easier to recycle those containers ^^ you actually see it alot more with korean skincare.
Abbey, please try out the new Prequel vitamin C and the Naturium vitamin C! I bought the timeless vitamin C last year but it stung my face every time so I had to stop using it.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Lisa Eldridge face mist, Prequel Vitamin C, and Crown Affair leave in hair conditioner. Those are three things I keep looking at and would appreciate your reviews.
I would love to see a video on how to maintain ‘combination’ hair. My scalp is pretty oily but my ends are SO dry. Def gets difficult sometimes & you’re the reason I got into haircare so I’d love to hear your recs
I am pretty sure she addressed this in a precviois video. Basically, she said to chose a shampoo for an oily scalp (and of course, only shampoo your scalp, not your ends), and treat your mids and ends with moisturizing products.
I have a similar situation and I use pureology leave in conditioner after i get out of the shower. ( i’m pretty sure she has a video about it and how to apply it to every strand of your hair) It works great and my hair has grown past my shoulders and looks thick and healthy
Hey Abbey, I have a question about using heat protection for dry styling. How would you suggest I appropriately use heat protection when styling my air-dried hair, and do you have any specific suggestions for products that might work? Typically, I will only use heat if I slightly straighten my hair. I don’t even really do my whole head, but rather the pieces that frame my face and baby hairs. Most heat protectors recommend applying it to damp hair, but since I am not using heat to actually dry my hair, what is the best way to protect it still? Any help you could give me would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!! Love your channel and overall content!
I wasn’t a facial mist girly. But tried the BYOMA one based on your recommendation. Now I’m a facial mist girly 😅 LOVE that stuff and have repurchased numerous times 🤩
Omg those Redken bottles. I can't stand how they collapse. They seem so cheap an look terrible plus I hate the cap on them, they are hard to open. Do better Redken.
Hey abbey! Just wanted to say thank you, i have only been following you for about 2 months, but my hair has seen so much improvement, which is especially difficult since i have genetically pretty bad hair (i have low iron and zinc levels, plus my whole family has weak hair). Thank you so much!!
Don’t waste your time trying COSRX vitamin C serum, it’s terrible way too oily and it came too yellow already. I am loving the Jumiso vitamin C serum, other people complained that it too, came too yellow and oxidized, but mine has been totally fine very clear. I love it.
Hi Abby! The Tattoo cream is for the healing process and can be a great moisturizer but does not stop the fading… sunscreen only will stop the fading! Just a fyi! Love ya! Xox
Vitamin C’s to try if you haven’t already: I love the Geek and Gorgeous one, the downside is it’s still in a dropper bottle and I much prefer a pump. But I feel it’s lighter weight than the Timeless and therefore soaks in quicker for me. I am currently trying out the Prequel Vit C serum, and I like it too, but still deciding which to repurchase next when I run out.
A dropper can be an upside for others, considering that it creates less waste and costs less than a pump. Geek&Gorgeous also make little batches of c-glow every week so you are guaranteed to get a fresh bottle every time, not one that has been sitting in a warehouse for who knows how long.
Abbey can you please test the Dr Brenner Vitamin C E Ferulic when you do your Vitamin C comparison? I've heard the formula is super similar to Skinceuticals and it's super affordable (only $20 for 1 oz). Thanks
Hi Abbey!! Pleaseee try and compare the Geek and gorgeous C-glow to the Timeless vitamin c! And can you please share how you cycle through vitamin c, copper peptides, and tretinoin throughout the week? Those 3 diva ingredients I am equally interested in, but they don’t play great with each other! I’d love your tips and comparisons 💙💛
Hey Abbey! I really could use some advice on drugstore products for my completion. I don’t really have issues with breakouts, but I have clogged pores (white bumps) on my chin and nose area. I can’t get them to go away! I’m more concerned with the chin area. What do you recommend? I currently use cerave renewing sa cleanser, and the cerave moisturizing cream. Thanks!
Abbey! I’ve received a bottle of shampoo by the brand Nexxus. It’s not a brand I’ve heard of before - do you know anything about the brand? Very hesitant to use a product without having the Abbey stamp of approval as following your advice has allowed me to grow really long and strong hair x
Not a serum but an AMAZING holy grail vitamin C product is the Shiseido Waso Yuzu sleeping mask. I have no idea why it isn't more popular because that stuff transforms my skin overnight and I need them to keep making it forever!!
Hi Abbey! I would love to hear your thoughts on the new LUCENT-C BRIGHTENING VITAMIN C SERUM from Dr. Samantha Ellis' Brand Prequel! I'm very tempted to try it out...
Is there a product I can use on my slightly wavy hair before I do my heatless curl routine so I don’t have to hairspray the curls after. I’m looking for something with soft hold but not stiffness. The mousses I’ve tried end up sticky and unbrushable. I’ve tried a cream that held nicely but turned my under hairs around my neck into a rats nest (that may have been a product problem, so I’m not ruling a cream out).
abbey! i need your trichology student knowledge! i have baby hairs that are sooo long (nape and hairline) but not as long as my actual hair.. why won't they grow to their full length? i was considering trying the ordinary's hair serum out but i'm hesitant to try ANY thing i have to apply to scalp around the hairline and nape since i have always had active acne there. i use that it cosmetics bye bye breakout serum as a spot treatment on my nape and back for acne actually! it helps! i'm just not so sure about using that along with any other hair growth products... and i'm even more terrified of putting it on my hairline since its on my face and i already have breakouts there.. any suggestions? 😭😭😭 edit: before anyone suggests i slick or gel it down- been there done that. they're too long to stay in place all day specifically the ones on my nape if i slick them up they end up falling anyways 😐 with all the baby hairs sticking out on my nape and framing my face, whenever i put my hair up into a bun my baby hairs make it look like ive got a lions mane only with finer hair. seriously it all sticks out and i look like a kindergarten drawing of the sun 🥲
Hi Abbey first coment here, I wacth your channel for a while now and have learn so much. I have a question for you or your followers 😅. A have been using sulfate free shampoo for years now and ocasionaly de regular shampoo because since a tried them my hair lost decreased so so much. But after seeing so many of your content I ready to try use shampoo with sulfate in the day to day bases. So, which one do you recomend to me to try first. I wash 3 times/weck and have normal scalp and bleach at the ends and length. Tks people
Great that sunscreens are formulated to be light. I hate a thick, sticky, oily and irritating sunscreen. The feeling of warmth because it's so oily and doesn't sink in is horrible.
I love your hair tips so muchhhh. You saved my oily curly hair. Pin please queeeennnn❤❤❤
omg so glad. u got it xx
same here!
@@Narconia she did try it! there's a video comparing it to redken
ah i must have missed that 1 ill have to check it out.........has she tried the Redken Acidic Color Gloss series yet?
@@thirt22n
Omg, what are you using that she recommended? I'm struggling with mine right now 😢
I live and die by the Paula‘s choice Vitamin C booster! It gives such an amazing immediate glow and really works in the long term as well!! 🍊
Please try Vichy and Prequel Vitamin C serum !!
Put the hoof cream in the CT magic cream container! I save my pretty containers so I can put other creams in them lol
The hustle butter is a game changer for brows and the smell is amazing!😍
totally feel you on the redken packaging!!! i miss the old packaging they had, so much easier to squeeze out the product and the bottles didn't get all wonky in the shower
Love your makeup in this video Abbey! What lip product are you using here? Gorgeous!
I started using the Hempz Birthday Cake Lotion at your suggestion. Love it! Have you tried the Hempz Vanilla Frost Mountain? I literally bought like 10 of those since it's supposed to be limited edition. So delicious!
Missha All Around Safe Block Soft Finish Sun Milk EX SPF50+/PA+++ feels exactly the same as 14:25 ... Only Missha is 13$ with higher SPF
Can you review Keratase products PLEASE
Hi, I tested the new version of Purito's cleansing oil, it has the same smell, sorry 😅
Can you possibly do a show down of face mists and your opinion on them for benefiting the skin? I’m really curious about the really popular face mists on the market like LRP thermal springs water, Caudalie Grape water, Avene thermal spring water and more. Hope you would consider this idea. Have a great day, been your subscriber for one year now!❤️
Your doggy voice is everything!
Im using the Prequel Vitamin C serum but I havent gotten through a whole bottle yet so no big skin changes but I have pretty good skin already.
Can you test out Prequel’s new launches??!! The vitamin C serum and the sunscreen
I want to know if they’re as good as their gleanser 😍
Hi Abbey, I would love for you to review L’Oréal Paris Le Color Gloss One Step In-Shower Toning Hair Gloss. I have been using it and it makes my hair so soft. Wondering if it's actually good for my hair.
Do you layer the bye bye breakout, Tretinion and peptide night cream?
I would love your opinion on the Geek&Gorgeous vitamin c serum! It’s super cheap and contains vitamin e + ferulic acid
FRE vitamin c serum! I love it and would love to know your thoughts on that and their other skin care.
Can you try the new Loreal Panoramic mascara?
I would try Epionce Products. The Lytic gel cleanser is amazing, people rave about the lytic tx, and I love their renewal and intensive moisturizer cream. Glytone brightening serum or lotion and I definitely am loving glymed products too. Revision skincare Vitamin C and their eye cream. I use Epionce and have experience all the things you have with acne, etc. Epionce has become my go too nighttime and Glymed my morning. I love glytone for the glycolic acid and use once a week.

I’d love you to try the Fino hair mask that everyone has been talking about ♥️
I don't film content since I'm not a content creator lol and I still hate how the bottles get like that.

Hi Abbey! Do you have any suggestions for non fragranced dry shampoo? I keep buying the not your mothers that you recommended but every bottle I get won’t spray! Everything with fragrance gives me a headache. Thanks!!!
Try the Prequel Vitamin C! Seems like a similar formula to the $$$ one, but more affordable and less smelly 😄
@AbbeyYung I really love your videos! They have helped me so much with my hair journey!❤I also just wondering if it is damageing to have a protein hairmask in for about 20 min when it only says 5 min on the package? Love the Peptide night cream!
Instead of obsessed...beset, engrossed, bedevilled (lol) fixated😊❤❤
Will you be trying out and/ore reviewing the DRMTGLY HPR eye cream and the Luminous color corrector spf 41 that just came out?
Love this kind of contents. But i can’t find the exactly same in Italy, so this is quite annoying. Anyway you are the best. Love you.
i actually love that you talk about the same products often because it’s not gimmicky like some other influencers who seem to be obsessed with a different product every week. so i love that you’re authentic about your products and recommend the same ones yet are always trying new products against your tried and trues. thanks abbey 🫶🏼
I agree with the redken shampoo come on get it together redken

Does the Acidic Bond Repair Shampoo make sense to try if you have unbleached/untreated natural hair?
I love the Maybelline Serum Foundation soooooooooo much but I just wish it came in a lighter shade! I am already using the lightest one available and it's still too dark for me 😭

I got Tretinoin from a dermatologist and it's only like 30 bucks. I'm not sure how much it is from that otc brand. 😮
My experience with the Purito cleansing oil has been super inconsistent. I first purchased it way back in March of 2021 and loved it. I repurchased in December of the same year and it smelled absolutely rotten and I had to return it. 😢

"Knock it off", the way she said it😂😂

hi Abbey, I was wondering if you can do a video on shampoos and conditioners to use on what hair type/condition!
Yes! Will add to my list
I just started using Epres around the holidays after getting their discounted holiday set for myself. My hair has never felt or looked better! It feels like I’ve unlocked a whole new world of amazing hair!
You got me hooked on the l’oréal serum, will try the maybeline next! 😊
You'll love it if you want a little bit of extra glow!!
Trader Joe’s Ultra Moisturizing hand cream! Comes in an aluminum tube and is 10/10 thick
I know Saeed Ghani is a Pakistani brand (so affordable) but there products are AMAZING I would really recommend them if you can get your hands on them (Vincé vitamin C serum is great)

Yes! Filming in the next couple weeks xx
@Abbey Yung - QVC has that lotion in the size with the pump! I just checked. It does come in a duo with the shower gel though.
I’m sure you know, but Byoma sells refills for the mist, so don’t chuck the bottle.
The hard as hooves product is a nail cream funny you use it all over your hands. Glad it works so well for you 😂
Hello Abbey.
Could you perhaps review L'Oréal Professionel Vitamino Colour 10-in-1 Leave-In Spray? Oh my god, this! As an Indonesian, not being able to buy Pureology and especially Redken products at our local e-commerce website really frustates me!

Omg 😨
Everything I see someone loving on hemp. I feel the need to ask.. is it cheap for you because up here in Canada the reg smallish sized bottles are almost $40.
@shandel499 I wouldn't call it "cheap" but I can usually find a larger sized bottle for around $17ish or under $20ish.
The Byoma line is excellent! I've been using their facial serum, eye depuffer, and the mist. Such a great skincare line
Thanks for your comment. I have been eyeballing their skincare at my shoppers, wondering how it is next to versed and honest brand

QVC sells the huge pump bottles of the fresh cream lotion!
QVC has a bunch of supersized philosophy fresh cream body wash, lotion and body butter(which is bomb!) u might want to try the body butter😊

Don’t waste your time trying COSRX vitamin C serum, it’s terrible way too oily and it came too yellow already. I am loving the Jumiso vitamin C serum, other people complained that it too, came too yellow and oxidized, but mine has been totally fine very clear. I love it.
Yellow doesn't mean it is oxidized.
Hi Abby! The Tattoo cream is for the healing process and can be a great moisturizer but does not stop the fading… sunscreen only will stop the fading! Just a fyi! Love ya! Xox
DANG. Thanks for letting me know 😂
Vitamin C’s to try if you haven’t already: I love the Geek and Gorgeous one, the downside is it’s still in a dropper bottle and I much prefer a pump.
Just started Prequel too!!
The prequel smell is…odd.
I feel like Vit C just smells odd in general, they all smell that way to me. Though G&G has the best smell of the ones I’ve tried IMO.
@@morgianasartre6709yeah and they offer those tiny little micro-bottles too, so you can keep it even fresher! I love it so much!
Do you have a recommendation for a makeup for beginners how to video? Especially for minimal makeup users, thanks!
Not a serum but an AMAZING holy grail vitamin C product is the Shiseido Waso Yuzu sleeping mask. I have no idea why it isn't more popular because that stuff transforms my skin overnight and I need them to keep making it forever!!
Interesting! What form of Vit C is that?
I find cleansing oils to be messy…I prefer Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing balm = The Best‼️
abbey! i need your trichology student knowledge! i have baby hairs that are sooo long (nape and hairline) but not as long as my actual hair.. why won't they grow to their full length? i was considering trying the ordinary's hair serum out but i'm hesitant to try ANY thing i have to apply to scalp around the hairline and nape since i have always had active acne there. i use that it cosmetics bye bye breakout serum as a spot treatment on my nape and back for acne actually! it helps! i'm just not so sure about using that along with any other hair growth products... and i'm even more terrified of putting it on my hairline since its on my face and i already have breakouts there.. any suggestions? 😭😭😭
edit: before anyone suggests i slick or gel it down- been there done that. they're too long to stay in place all day specifically the ones on my nape if i slick them up they end up falling anyways 😐 with all the baby hairs sticking out on my nape and framing my face, whenever i put my hair up into a bun my baby hairs make it look like ive got a lions mane only with finer hair. seriously it all sticks out and i look like a kindergarten drawing of the sun 🥲
Tks people
Dying at "not content like that, knock it off" XD
With her MN accent too! So cute!
If you have never tried Lush’s Sticky Dates body wash you should. I think you would love it if you love cakes delicious body washes.
Great that sunscreens are formulated to be light. I hate a thick, sticky, oily and irritating sunscreen. The feeling of warmth because it's so oily and doesn't sink in is horrible.
