Hey everyone! Just wanted to say, if I sound weird in this one its because I've been a bit under the weather. But I still wanted to get this video out to you all. Hope you enjoyed it anyway!
Titus being in Deadwatch has been known since, I think, the Space Marine tabletop game. About a couple years ago. He went under the name “Nullus” during that time and none of his fellow DW brothers knew anything about his past. Tigurius is the one who was among the crew members of that ship that turned that Carnifex into paste. He sensed Titus from afar and immediately went after him.
I had no idea about all of that, but Tigurius sensing him makes so much more sense. I thought it was very convenient that the Ultramarines happened to save him. 🤔🤟
Looks awesome! I always loved the more tacti-cool side of deathwatch. Its really cool that there is an entire army filled with these guys................a standalone army.....................isn't it
I literally did the same thing last weekend! I just used the parts that matched him the most from the DW Vet box and then kitbashed his official minis arm on.
as someone who is kitbashing my homebrew chapter of primaris firstborn I love everything about this. Great job. The real truescale we were waiting for. Honestly, one of the reason I tend to dislike primaris is the lack of helmet options and power bags being too big. Firsborn power bags are great on primairs because they dont make them top heavy and put more emphasis on the 'heroic' proportions of their body.
I'm surprised you didn't just use the blackshield shoulder pad from the veterans box, still looked good though. The temptation to make my own Titus grows, lol
I'm sure you've got lots of experience doing this kind of stuff but it seriously made me wince watching you send that blade right at your thumb again and again. Be careful, dude! Awesome model, came out great! The painting is incredible! Very impressive work.
Haha yeah, I wasn't sure if DW Titus was a spoiler or not as I avoided the trailers. But didn't want to discuss where he is in the game. Probably could have done a better job. 😅
Amazing model, as usual! I started my own with the DW Veteran kit like a day after I saw your original Titus build. LOL. Having a ton of fun - just working on a base atm - have found the inspiration for a diorama based on SM2. Thank you for the inspiration! I have been following you for a number of years and have used several of your ideas for my own kitbashes. Keep the good work coming! Cheers!
@@JamsMiniMods mate I just love end result. And that paint job is perfect also. Shame they dont make that exact mini tbh as Deathwatch Titus is just badass lol.
I like the part where you use your hobby knife and then use your hobby knife and then the part when you used your hobby knife. Some good knifing brother.
Thank you! I purposely left it out because I don't think I could sculpt a good skull and I have no golden skull transfers. I'm surprised you're the first person to mention it haha
I’ve done a kitbash version of deathwatch Titus but I made it as a pure Primaris. As if he was offered the surgery whilst he was still serving the watch.
That helmet seem to be from the Inner Circle Companions box, I totally didn't spend a good 15 minutes trying to find these bits as I prepare to assemble a deathwatch veteran box to potentially make a magnetization project allowing for both the weird probably now discontinued deathwatch killteam, and a normal intercessor killteam. Neat little project to take a break from mindless painting. EDIT: actually I think the face tubing is different, or I'm blind, but that box also has the old angry marine helm in a hood. I'm now thoroughly confused.
It was just normal green stuff. Do GW still sell it? You can buy it anywhere, it's the one with the yellow and blue strips. It depends on what I'm sculpting, but I don't usually let it sit, I just go for it straightaway.
@The-Schizo-Crowefethers that would be hard to tell. It's from kits that I've bought over the years. You'd have to check ebay if you wanted individual bits. 🤔
@@JamsMiniMods Me either but his loadout was power axe and Deathwatch-issue boltgun so i just used that in combination with the space wolves shoulder pad from the box

Not even done with the ultramarine model yet and here you are with another amazing kitbash haha - subbed
Haha thank you, and appreciate the sub!

That, plus the fact you can use bits from every chapter to make unique marines.
Haha I have no idea what's happened with recent rules.
SAD. fuck sake gw
I want to do his whole killteam eventually
That would be great!
I literally did the same thing last weekend! I just used the parts that matched him the most from the DW Vet box and then kitbashed his official minis arm on.
Yeah, the DW Veterans box is a gold mine really.
Killer base... and another fantastic conversion.. Congrats on cracking 10k. Well deserved
Thanks man, always appreciate it! 🤟
The deathwatch vets were the most fun I ever had in a mini!
They are easily my favourite first born kit

Thank you! I'd love to see some of your homebrew stuff, sounds interesting!
I also used primaris legs for mine but unes a crusader initiate pistol and used the deathwatch veterans torso, cape and power pack
Seems like a good combo, I can see it working!
I'm surprised you didn't just use the blackshield shoulder pad from the veterans box, still looked good though. The temptation to make my own Titus grows, lol
I was going to, but wanted to try make it a bit more accurate. Thanks! You should make your own. 🤟

Haha I do have a lot of experience.. because I've sliced my thumb many times! So you're not wrong.
Thank you, really appreciate it. 🤟
*Gives people a heads up about spoilers.*

Love your work on this kit thank you
Thank you! Appreciate it. 🤟
This is amazing!!!!!!!!!! As a deathwatch collector I appreciate this. Have to dive into my bits box
Thank you! If you have Deathwatch bits, you'll most likely have everything you need 🤟
This is a really good kitbash! He looks great
Thank you, sir! 🤟
Yeah that works pretty well. Great job!
Thank you! 🤟
@@JamsMiniMods Any time 🤟
This is so sick, really love Deathwatch Titus, wish we had more game time with it.
Thank you! I'd love them to bring out a DLC of Titus time in the Deathwatch. Would be amazing.
@@JamsMiniMods yeah that would be good, also a PVP skin would be nice.
@JolsenUK yeah that would be sweet!

Great build, He looks amazing and spot on! You beat me to it! I was going to try and build a black sheild Titus, Thank you for the video!
Thank you! Well, you can still go for it, it is a fun one to do!

Thank you! 😎
mate this is freaking awesome..
Thanks Kyle!

I do like to use my hobby knife! 😅
@JamsMiniMods only joking around, love your content! You've inspired me on a few new kit bash ideas.
@matttordone562 haha thank you! Glad some videos could help 🤟
Lovely work mate
Thank you!
Awesome! 👍🏻
Thank you, sir!
I love the model but you missed one thing the death watch logo on Titus’ left shin other than that the model looks wicked
You'll have to share it, always down to see people's hobby!
Amazing
Thanks!
Fantastic kit, Bash absolutely love it just a question is Titus is chainsword shorter than a standard chainsword
Thank you. I don't think it's shorter. It's probably just because I used a firstborn chainsword here instead of a primaris scale version.
Sick
Thanks!
Nice but could’ve still used more first born marine parts to make more accurate
True, but he might not have matched my current force
That helmet seem to be from the Inner Circle Companions box, I totally didn't spend a good 15 minutes trying to find these bits as I prepare to assemble a deathwatch veteran box to potentially make a magnetization project allowing for both the weird probably now discontinued deathwatch killteam, and a normal intercessor killteam. Haha I probably spend hours looking for the right bits on my projects. 😅
Well, it's definitely one of the older DA kits, just can't remember which.
Can you tell me please where i can get that industrial look plastic? The one you use for the base
I bought it at my local hobby shop. But maybe check amazon or ebay for either diamond plate steel plasticard or checker plate plasticard.
Got a death watch veteran box and have a dark angles company veteran sprew on the way, you beat me to it bit Im going to make his whole squad.
I'd love to see the whole squad done!
@@JamsMiniMods when they are done I will try to remember to send you a photo if it goes well.
Wow! I subscribed you are awesome!
Where did you get those parts?
Thank you!
The bits are from the Deathwatch Veterans kit, Vanguard Veterans kit and the head is from an old dark angels kit I think.
@@JamsMiniMods thank!
@@XxAdRixX69 no problem
what kind of green stuff is that? or is that the standard citadel one and you just let it sit out a bit before manipulating it?
It was just normal green stuff. Do GW still sell it?

It depends on what I'm sculpting, but I don't usually let it sit, I just go for it straightaway.
I tried searching for that head and the only thing that looked close was one from the dark angels inner circle companions
It's from the old Dark Angles upgrade sprue. Not sure if it's sold now or not
Primaris though
Yup, fits in my collection better.
I wish I had the skill to do this
Thank you, but it only takes a bit of practice, and you'd be on it!
@@JamsMiniMods how much did it approximately cost for every part.
@The-Schizo-Crowefethers that would be hard to tell. It's from kits that I've bought over the years.
You'd have to check ebay if you wanted individual bits. 🤔
@@JamsMiniMods fair enough I could always 3D print Titus straight from the game files I guess.
If I was painting the only difference I would do would be to make the armour more grey and less black
I've been meaning to buy some Corvus Black
what a coincidence, i created the space wolf guy that dies to the Tyranid warrior
Haha, I can't remember what he looks like
@@JamsMiniMods Me either but his loadout was power axe and Deathwatch-issue boltgun so i just used that in combination with the space wolves shoulder pad from the box
@@omnissiahGaspar Nice. I really want to replay the intro!
Didn't he have a hunters knife?
Probably, can't remember now
Is not an aquila on the chest, is an imperius
True, it doesn't have the Eagle head
can you make a malum caedo miniature?
I think a few channels have already done him. But I'll put it on the list, could be fun.
Why did you use primaris as a base when he was a firstborn death watch
Because primaris fits in my force better
@@JamsMiniMods it frustrates me because its not accurate
@MetalGearMechWars if you want an accurate one then just build the model out of the Deathwatch Veterans kit, that's all it is really
no >:( i like watching people do something because they can do it way better then i ever can and get mad when i dont like how they do it
@MetalGearMechWars Haha OK 😅
Stealing this for my Agents army
Please do!
