I relate to the finding your painting style part a lot. I’ve been doing the same thing, and favor the textured approach myself. We have that in common. AK wet pigments are the way to go for that…the powders just don’t stay put

personally I love the color sceme. Mayby the purple is a little too vibrant compare to the green, I think it woud look better if you eather make the purple a bit less vibrat or the green a bit more vibrant.

It sounds like drilling the pinning the bottom skulls on the skully-spikey-thingy could have saves some heartache. That purple could do with a it of desaturation? Maybe stipple on a few layers of watery greyish purples? This is a cool kitbash. I like how the hood and the silly grin give the minis a bit of a Gorillaz aesthetic; in a good way.

Will you continue building your Death Guard army? If so, what will you add next? I swapped the head and arm of this Lord of Contagion. It fits perfectly as a goofy Nurgle bloke, but I prefer my Death Guard helmeted for a more eerie look.

very awesome kitbash. i'm noticing the helmet is wrong as that is a hellblaster sergeant head instead of an intercessor head with the one pipe. still awesome. would be epic if it had a 40mm base as well. i'm tempted to try and make this myself

Yes! As you know, I like jumping around to other, different, things too. As far as as the case, I use 9x9 steel baking tins that have lids. Easy to transport and inexpensive. Really big or tall stuff doesn’t fit though.

Why is there a deathwatch shoulder piece on that iron hand it is incorrect as it is not a deathwatch space marine.

I tried searching for that head and the only thing that looked close was one from the dark angels inner circle companions

I just started thinking about making a Watch Master in gravis armor but was wondering about the Deathwatch shoulder pad. The normal ones dont look too bad on gravis armor.

I’d like to add a few points from my own experiences with this set. First; as cool as the Fallout tape measure is, it’s cheaply built plastic. I wouldn’t expect it to stand up to being carried around in your pocket with your keys. Secondly: Some loadouts are mutually exclusive with others so even though your list stays within your cap balance, you may have to further edit it to meet the box constraints. A second core box of your desired faction will help alleviate this issue. Third: aAs mentioned, the starter box does not come with assembly instructions, however the core faction boxes DO come with printed instructions! Thanks for the video!
