  • From a recent live Q&A: (Live every Wednesday at 12:30pm pacific)
Q What are common bad habits that hold people back from reversing their disease?
With my extensive experience in both emotional health and disease reversal, I spend a lot of time training our group members into the mindset of recovery, and teach them the habits they need to learn for success in disease-reversal, health, happiness, and beyond.
I also have to help them recognize and let go of bad habits that hold them back from recovery. We do this work every day.
The mind is tricky! Practice letting go of these bad habits. Don’t let your mind cling to fears and negativity. Make sure you document and celebrate every breakthrough: in pain, labs, fatigue, skin, etc. Keep track of every good day to remind you how far you have come in case you get the occasional hard day. Train your brain to look for signs of wellness and celebrate!

Dr. G I swear every time I’m thinking about something, one of your videos comes up and addresses it or you talk about something that resonates with me and that I needed to hear. I was just thinking this morning that hey I slept better. My hands don’t hurt as much. I actually felt like walking during lunch this week. My fatigue is improving. You have to celebrate your wins. Thank you so much for all you do

    Dear Brooke,
Will you consider narrating your Goodbye Lupus books for Audible? Your voice is so soothing! I bet a lot of people would love it! :) Have a nice day!

I second this! It's the only reason I haven't purchased the books because I need to be able to listen to them and they are not available in audiobook format. I don't think anybody else's voice would do the topic jutice either! ✌️

I would really, really, appreciate the GAI disease book on Audible. The guidance for improving mental/emotional issues are something I would listen to again and again. You are so kind and compassionate and I blessed to have found you😘

So funny I saw this just now - I finished searching my Audible for Dr. Brooke's books! I was disappointed to see they weren't offered on Audible but hopefully, they will be in the future. :)

@IS-LUV Thank you for posting this!! I have tears streaming down my face! I have not adjusted well to the green smoothies, I prepackaged baggies, and then just vitmix them, haven't been the best tasting-- BUT today I grabbed out of my freezer my prepackaged zip lock baggie, with Peaches!! I am not a peach person in my adult years as I was as a youth! Needless to say-- I LOVE THIS SMOOTHIE! Untill I herd her vid today I was still beating myself up-- with negative thoughts she mention-- I started saying yeah I found the key for me to ENJOY the green smoothies-- why the tears? Because you just reaffirmed what I was saying to myself I enjoy the smoothie and found the key so not only tears if joy, but tears of THANK YOU TO YOU! I needed that 2nd confirmation! GBY!

Oh I know where this comes from. I was a straight A student but even that was not enough for my dad as I was growing up. Not a single praise, my 110% was the norm. But when I got a B... It meant I wasn't hardworking enough, I was doing badly, it was the end of the world, I learned to be ashamed of myself. Go figure. Trying to undo the damage as an adult. At least integration and becoming conscious of why my personality turned out to be a maximalist people pleaser who is scared to be herself fearing she's "not good enough". On top (?) of the illnesses and symptoms. Isn't it a fun ride? haha

Really good self-awareness. The next step is to be willing to let that go as his issue not yours. And let your inner child know that they are enough and deserve love without having to earn it.

So I tried one smoothie for snack on Thursday and another on Friday,. Sat. I had horrible diarrhea and it was definitely that. What do I do about that? I fear this protocol will make me sick. Going from a fairly good diet, though yes eating dairy and chicken and fish, but no sugar, coffee etc it was awful. And I’m not overweight. Any thoughts that could help?

    dear brooke ,
I have pemphigus vulgaris , and i have blisters all over my body , mouth ,head everywhere .
i have been taking strict vegetarian AIP autoimmune diet since 15 days with prebiotics /vitamins / omega3 , but i havent seen any improvement yet .
can you tell me how much time it take to see any improvement ??

    • @carolehoward444

Have you tried eliminating gluten and dairy products?

    • @IS-LUV
      @IS-LUV 10 місяців тому +2

Dr Goldner has mentioned that AIP is not her protocol and her protocols are raw cruciferous vegetables (no animal products at all) and omega 3 from plant sources like chia/flax seeds/oil. Not sure what omega 3 source you’re taking but she says the capsules are not best form as they are rancid and animal based. She has a minimum of water intake daily (unless you have a heart or kidney condition) so you’d have to look into her specific protocol and even then, results will vary depending on other health issues, how long you’ve been sick and how strictly/aggressively you’re following her protocols (hypernourishing, Goodbye Lupus or Goodbye Autoimmune). Some people see improvements right away and some it take a few weeks. Some have to start slowly so that can affect results but almost everyone starts feeling better or seeing changes fairly quickly. Hope that helps a little. Sending blessings for your recovery and health. ❤️❤️

If you haven’t read her books which aren’t expensive I would recommend them and also listen to her videos on line. She said some people go thru detox and have worse symptoms at the begging of their diet. It’s important to follow the diet closely. If nothing changes you should probably contact here. Best Wishes! We know you can do it! ❤️❤️

I did have a member of my rapid recovery group recover from this. She did it within six weeks but of course she was in our most aggressive program. Results can vary a lot depending on your commitment to the nutrition, how aggressive you are, and of course other life stressors. It can only help.
