I noticed some posts here were four years ago,I'm sure everyone would like to redo there first video,there's no doubt in my mind he's learned some things the last few years .Good luck on your bee keeping journey.
You should leave the nuc after you receive it, for around 24 hrs, of course it depends on what time of day it was received, and place it next to hive with the entrance in the same direction as the brood box, they need orientation, and that lady, she would drive me frigging insane.
Big Miss Stake putting a small swarm of bee's in a 10 frame hive, need a 5 frame box to start them out in , when they get 5 frames full then transfer them into the 10 frame hive when they fill it up put another brood box on top of it, Yours bee's well do better and grow fast than to much space in there box's CHEERS

Well, I didn't notice but am pretty sure he didn't smoke inside the box before he opened it. Next, move one frame at a time. And lastly knock out what you can then leave the box by the entrance. Am guessing but am willing to bet they didn't stick to it.
Remind me not to buy any nucs from Kelly Bees. 1 frame was disgusting and suitable for the trash. Another looked like foundation and there were not enough bees to cover the brood from what I could see.
I agree. I bought two nucs from them and one only had 3 frames with drawn out comb. Their packages are amazing though. I bought 2 from them and those bees are the most productive and hardworking things I've ever had.

30k of bees? where? i can see max 5k of bees. You have done everything wrong, you should place Nuc in final position of bee hive and live it open for 3 days, aftert that you should replace Nuc with final hive. And this stupid screaming women, but she is right about flying bees.
men , is not good the movement , first should be open the carton box , bees make the orientation 1 day ,after second day change the box with wood box in same pozition, in this stile , is posibile to loos the queen in grass und is never come back in wood box. soory for the lenguage . i hope too understand me.

+rowan dairy haha! yep, rowan is right on. Also instead of banging on box just leave box out and the bees will go to box.

You don't need to worry about the bees in the air or the ones left in the box. Wherever the queen goes they will follow.

Instead of smoking them, you should have been spraying a little sugar water.
This is when a mute button or editing is a great idea.
You may know this by now but use a lot more smoke.

That is brood not honey you are looking at ##@$. The honey frame does not go in the first box @@#$.
You just demoralize your bee's
clean those frames up and separate them @@@##$.
