Hello. I typed in a very long description of why i would like to enter, but it said there was no dates avalible and now everything i wrote is gone. Will there be another attempt at this?
i´m gonna read all of them, i´m learning a lot from you, you are a truly authentic, and balanced person, who reaches to your own conclusions and biggest insights through journaling, shadow work, listening to your intuition. this is the biggest lesson i´ve learnt from you stop looking for the answers outside of you and rather start listening to them, because they´re already inside of you. glad to see your growth and evolution.
Very refreshing take on how to win friends and influence people, cause “having to be a people pleaser” was exactly what I took away. I’m gonna read the book again
Clark, i been watching your channel for a while now, i love everything about your videos man, love the contnent, the jokes, the tasks that you give us to improve, just want to say thanks you for all the support and the good times that your videos give to me.
The video discusses 5 self-improvement books that have been effective. "How to Win Friends and Influence People" is highlighted for its advice on effective communication, emphasizing speaking in terms of others' interests. "Stumbling on Happiness" is mentioned as a book that challenges assumptions about future thinking and positivity, showing how the mind can play tricks on us. "The War of Art" is described as a book that tackles resistance, negative self-talk, and the battle to overcome internal obstacles for creative endeavors. "Self-Reliance" is noted for promoting individualism, authenticity, and not conforming to societal norms. "The Artist's Way" is discussed as a resource for unlocking buried creativity and addressing the impact of shadow self and anger on artistic expression.
My two favorite books of all time are David Goggin's, Can't Hurt Me and Dave Ramsy's Total money makeover. Both these books have changed my health and finances tremendously.
Big hug from Colombia - You´ve been an inspiration and also a source of really pure, authentic and positive energy to me. Your videos not only teach, but also vibrate really high-
Hey man amazing content! But a quick tip on your audio (if you'd like).. do a low cut around 80-100 Hz to get rid of any low end rumble / room noise. Will clean up your audio quite a bit! Keep up the great work!
Like you said in your last book video I watched: you need foreplay. The small talk leads to the impactful deep convos. And when you can start viewing every person you interact with as a potential friend, then just start probing and asking them good questions, then follow up questions, it’s amazing how you can start to see how this person that could have been another stranger just actually has so much in common with you. That is one of the beautiful things of life man.
I absolutely loved your video and the way you passionately shared your insights on these self-improvement books. It's clear that you've not only read them but also internalized their lessons. One key takeaway I got from your video is the importance of understanding and overcoming our own internal barriers, whether it's in social interactions, creativity, or personal growth. It's inspiring to see how these books have had a profound impact on your life. Thanks for sharing!
I want to extend a massive thank you! I'm constantly grateful for the wisdom you impart. Your positive guidance is truly appreciated, and it's always a pleasure to learn from you!
Wow this is truly one of the best videos on UA-cam. I highly recommend. Maybe because this is what I coach but trust me I’ll be sharing 100 times over. Thank you!! I especially loved the part about “when you got the big audience “
Self-Reliance is a gem. It helped me make sense of the dynamics of society and the role I play. The majority of people will ALWAYS be conformists. You can't fix society, you can only fix yourself. And by doing so, by walking away and becoming a true individual, you inspire others to do the same. I run a men's coaching program, and it's literally called, "The Self Reliant Way." Thanks for all your work and inspiration, Clark. I just added The War of Art and Stumbling on Happiness to my queue.
I listened to war of art while I commuted to work and back, and while I did my chores around the house. It didn’t hit me as hard as I thought it would, especially as someone who is a struggling artist (music production). But I will give it this… every time I look at something I don’t want to do (dishes, mop, sweep, clean the toilet…) I ask myself “how badly do I want to do this?” And if the answer is “I really don’t want to do that.” I know that’s the first thing I have to do. Can honestly say it has so far made me pretty productive 🎉. 8/10
Mate, kudos to you and thank you thank you thank you ! You've got yourself a new & loyal sub. I'll get The War of Art. I've read several similar books such as Outwitting the Devil or the 48 Laws of Power Based on your review, I'm sure the War of Art will help me reach the next level in my life. Thanks Clark for these book recommendations especially The War of Art on learning and doing. I have read a lot of self help books my entire life (I’m 70) and struggle with putting into action the concepts I have learned. I’m going to read the War of Art.

The video discusses five self-improvement books that have had a transformative impact on the speaker. The first book mentioned is "How to Win Friends and Influence People," which focuses on communication skills and understanding others' interests. The second book, "Stumbling on Happiness" by Daniel Gilbert, explores the concept of thinking about the future and overcoming negative thought patterns. The third book, "The War of Art," emphasizes overcoming internal resistance and self-doubt to achieve creative goals. The fourth book, "Self-Reliance" by Ralph Waldo Emerson, promotes individualism and authenticity. The fifth book, "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron, helps uncover and nurture one's creative side. The speaker shares personal insights and reflections on each book's impact on his life and encourages viewers to consider reading them for personal growth.

Dale Carnegie is still valid in today's world even more so! Unfortunately most people never finish reading a book, and actually use what it teaches! I'm guilty of that many times believe me! 😮
Wow stumbling on happiness and how to win friends are two of my favourites. I wouldn't have put stumbling on happiness as a self help book, it's more of a popular science book.
Can anyone give me some advice? When he talks about the 3rd book in the video, he says that doing is fun while learning isn't, for me it is the other way around... I love learning new stuff and really getting to understand all the little details about the topic, but when it comes to doing anything related to it, I can't start. I fantasise and learn about a lot of thing, but never do them. Any advice is much appreciated, thanks!
He means that learning a new skill is hard, because you have never done it before. you need to learn the technicalities and fail a few times. once you learn and master a skill, you just do it. doing it, after you have learned, is easier.
I can relate! I know everything I need to know about starting a business in e-commerce & the learning has been fun, but when it comes down to actually finding a product & getting started I just don't find it interesting & nothing happens. I know a shit ton about investing & have all kinds of financial plans but yet I don't make any money. LEARNING IS FUN BUT DOING ISN'T, THE DOING IS BORING & HARD.
