- The majority of the installation of a Burnham SIN4 that replaced a Dunkirk steam boiler is recorded during this video. The Dunkirk boiler had a crack in the cast iron heat exchanger.
We arrived at 7:45am and finished before 1pm - Same Day! Went to lunch on the way back to the shop to dump and clean out the truck.

He should host his own UA-cam Channel with some of the topics he discussed with you. Second, Mike.......so sad to see Stephen go.........you guys worked well as a Team and the Chemistry that you both brought will be missed. Thirdly, it was nice to see the other Mike’s (is it Mike G.?”) true personality come out. Definitely a Blue Collar kind of guy who shows up for work, rolls his sleeves-up, and gets down to work. Love the videos, Mike! Former Staten Islander, been in San Diego for 40 years. Here no plumber knows what the heck he is doing. Also, something noteworthy here. The plumbing technicians???ha ha who come to install a garbage disposal or toilet get paid a percentage of the total sale that they can upsell and overcharge you. The HVAC techs are the same pay percentage. It's insane. Plumbers and HVAC don't go in the field. This is why I love your work.

Good luck Steven all the best to you. But Mike you should be grounding the electrical boxes with the ground wire. I havent seen a switch with a ground ever before. Love the videos keep up with the great work. My kids enjoy watching them, Im trying to get my son interested into the trades so its fun to watch videos and i can explain things to him.

Mike never plug a steam boiler ,always use both opening on the header,boiler could crack
Just a thought: it would be easier to add the boiler treatment before installing the 45 ell…and what is Godzilla’s other job?
You got me turned onto the wago’s. They are nice. You just have to twist the stranded really good and your golden. Love em.
Price wise, Should I ever replace/repair my heat exchanger or just replace the whole damn unit??
