- I like to have dedicated fx for my synths, I bought the UA Golden Reverb sometime last fall and it has remained a part of my chain. I was messing around with the Prophet 5 and this pedal and decided to record some of the sound. I dig it! Probably will end up with the other two pedals soon.

Great video. So chill and relaxing to listen and watch. I have the big 3 Strymon pedals and the 3 UA pedals. Modulation, delay, and reverb. I was comparing last night those pedals on my Prophet 10 Rev4 and I have to say the UA pedals on synth are just phenomenal. Seem warmer and more organic. Also, they are so much easier to dial in the sound you like. I find the Strymon pedals can be overly complicated. I do also have the NightSky and the Volante but I haven’t put them to the test yet. What are your thoughts? Great content and I enjoyed the video.
Thanks for watching! I agree, I only have one Strymon, and I dig it, but something about the UA pedals makes me want to get the other two and remove the Strymon from the chain lol. They are very straight forward and easy to dial in as you say. Plus they just sound good!
@@SoundsAndGear you need all three of the UA Pedals I promise. The hands on knob control with instant gratification is hands down the best part. The Strymons are fantastic sounding as well but I give the edge to UA. Strymons have a lot of menu diving in my opinion. Doesn’t make them bad just different. Sometimes “less is more.” That’s what my drum teacher used to tell me. Lol
@@mgrisham71 I agree, that's what I like about the UA, super simple to use and get to where you are going. Definitely something I've been considering for a while.

Right on! How's the headroom, can it take a hot signal right from the synth without issues like clipping/distortion? I'm also thinking of using mine after my Volante, but would also like to be able to slap it on other synths directly which can be a much hotter signal.
I have multiple synths running through it actually, they all go into a mixer and then the fx come after my mixer.
The headroom is not an issue at all. They work extremely well on a hotter signal like a synth.
