This explains living in dread every day of something bad happening and waking up with panic feelings.
🥺❤️
I’m with you. I live in a constant state of dread and have vivid, anxious dreams causing me to wake up stressed. 😢
Same here. As Kari said it is the high cortisol in the mornings that causes this.😢😢. It’s a wierd impending doom feeling horrible what we have to go through.
Also what helps is homeopathy ( need a classical homeopath )as well as nervous system rewiring.
@@Dani._ella Same here i have anxious dreams, there is no escape from it.
I'm now 58. At 46.5 years I thought I had lost my mind and had every ache and pain going. Fatigue, crippling anxiety, mood swings, palpitations, hot flashes, insomnia No HRT for me. It hasn't been a walk in the park but I've gotten through every day. Hang in their ladies!
How many years do you have these symptoms? Thankd
@@snehalchavan8227 I knew nothing about perimenopause when I started having crazy issues at age 46.5 years. That is when my very regular periods started to go haywire. I had my last ever period aged 52. My hot flushes were severe I remember at age 50 but thank goodness things aren't so bad now. Just take care of yourself, be kind to yourself. It's a big transition x
Ah, yes, I remember the losing-my-mind phase. That was actually scary, as in, am I schizophrenic or what? It does get better!
@@snehalchavan8227 Forever. Unless you get HRT treatment or try supplements that will help your hormones improve.
@@elainekyle3779Symptoms ease and some disappear. Not all symptoms last forever. Hot flashes seem to hang around on and off
Combining PTSD with perimenopause is a big challenge. This channel at least helps normalize and explain some of what's going on, which is very helpful!

Omg omg omg. The past 6 months I’ve for real been thinking I am having a breakdown. I had NO idea it was due to menopause and cortisol! It’s so good to know I’m not the only one 😢❤

I would love us to be good friends in honesty and in trust so as time goes on it will bring something great for us in the future, hope you don't mind? Menopause is literally hell. Add to this a highly stressful job and it’s not a wonder I never slept, gained weight and was generally unstable emotionally. It’s taken a while, but I now am stable, have lost weight and learned to sleep better, plus I feel like a human being once more.
Good luck to those of you going through this. Know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you will be able to feel normal again.
Happy to hear that you’re feeling better.
i agree with u im 60 periods stopped 4yrs ago i think im full on menopausal its brutal ugh 🙄
Sounds like I was after my hysterectomy at 43 . I was totally unstable. I’m 56 and trying to loose weight but more stable
God bless you so glad you are better ❤
Please don’t tell me it’s worst than peri menopause
There is so much more that goes along with high cortisol. I can’t enjoy most food or caffeine, can’t relax enough to really enjoy hobbies, can’t enjoy most movies or music unless they’re completely non-violent/quiet/positive, no longer have patience with my toxic in-laws. All that helps a bit is being outside and rest. Depressing as heck.
🥺❤️
Oh yeah I’m super sensitive to caffeine, and since covid I can’t really taste or smell my fave foods much so I’ve started drinking a lot because at least I can still feel drunk. It’s not good.
I wish you well!
@@cleocatra9324 I'm so sorry to hear about your post-Covid troubles! Please take care of yourself and don't fall too far down that rabbit hole. There are so many other beautiful things to live for, and you deserve to enjoy them too.
I wanted to add, six months after my original comment, that things are a bit better. I still have 1-2 days a week where the cortisol surge kind of ruins the day, but I've learned a few things: Waiting 90 minutes after waking up before consuming caffeine can really help. Coffee is a rarity now - I mostly drink green tea mid-morning instead, as it does the job without that sour, anxious feeling. I also drink warm water or herbal tea with ginger, turmeric, lemon and a splash of sugar-free fruit juice. Done with chocolate too, as the caffeine in it now makes me violently ill and agitated, especially when combined with even a sip of coffee. It's a bummer to have to give up food you've loved all your life, but the momentary pleasure of eating them is so not worth illness that follows. Out with the old, in with the new.
Its the covid vaccine
Just tired and scared and worried all the time. But thank you this was very informative 💜
Same here . Anything thing I feel.
I think the worse case scenario. Menopause is the worse.
I am so glad I discovered this channel. For nearly a year I have been struggling with so many symptoms and convinced I was terminally ill. I didn't go to the doc as the symptoms would come and go. I have had frequent infections, feelings like I can't breathe, difficulty focusing, vibration sensations, feelings of dread and despair that I've never had before...the list goes on. It's reassuring to know that I'm not alone. Thank you for sharing this 💕
Same here! It’s awful!!!
As a caregiver/lpn that worked for 4 years in womens health, we’ve heard it all.
And so many sxs come with peri and post menopause.
However, it’s still a good idea to make an appointment with an NP or PA (cheaper than OBGYNs) in a womens health clinic. Also request bloodwork to test FSH/TSH and LH levels. Just to be 100% sure.
I don’t want to scare anyone. However, I also worked 3 yrs in a cancer clinic. Unfortunately there are so many similar sxs for some cancers.
And thankfully, if caught early, are curable.
Don’t freak out though.
It’s most likely perimenopause.
I thought I was dying, I'm having all the symptoms 😢
@@djohnson9485Same here… YOU ARE NOT ALONE.❤
Cutting out the fast food and making my own food at home has helped me immensely. Other circumstances forced me into this change, but I'm so glad for it. My hot flashes and night sweats are way reduced. My anxiety is lower. Who knew eating healthier would help? 😂 Days that I go for walks I also feel better. No power walking, just a nice stroll down the street or on a trail.
One thing they don’t tell you is how at 50 you start suffering health anxiety. I’ve never suffered panic attacks but now every time I get a new ‘symptom’. I have a panic attack thinking it will be something horrible and major. This is the age when all those things could happen …it’s hard to tell what is anxiety and what is a real concern . I’m terrified to go to the doctor now.
Go have your vitamin d levels check. If it is low, you will have anxiety and racing thoughts. Menopause cause your minerals and vitamin levels to drop.
Oh my goodness, thank you! You are *not* the only one. It is so bizarre that suddenly every ache and pain, and/or anything that seems the least bit odd sets me off into anxiety and fear. I'm trying "body meditate", feeling each inch of my body from toes to hair, so I can better understand, but it is still difficult. I'm lucky enough to have an understanding (female) provider who doesn't fob my concerns off, but yes, it's scary to go to her with my concerns, because I am so afraid it will catastrophic.
Omg I know how you feel.
Most people do not suffer "health anxiety", it's hypochondria.
@@SirenaSpadesyou know that’s a pretty shitty thing to say. Are you even close to menopause? It’s different things for different people. So, judgmental.
Even on HRT I still wake up with a pounding heart having a middle of the night panic attack. I've learned to manage it. If I didn't know what a panic attack was I swear I'd have thought I was dying of a heart attack.
Menopause is a tough journey!
It sure is a challenging journey! Panic attacks are terrifying! Hugs!❤️
Wow I had no idea. The racing heart on waking or few times middle of the night, I had put it down to my other health
issues. On hrt at 63 and it's not even begun to be over. Woman really get a rough deal.
I’m 45 and have woken up from panic attacks the last several years - CBD gummies have been my life saver. And they get worse before a period, it’s horrible. Reducing stress in my life by moving away from my state and family has helped them go away, sad but true. Sometimes we don’t realize the things that are causing the additional stress!
Panic attacks are awful!! I just got them out of them blew few months back. Omg I thought I was dying too! There know joke!!
I started this pounding heart stuff recently. Been taking as small a.dose as I.can of estrogen for many years. Had to get a beta blocker which helped a lot. Taking 400 mg magnesium before.bed also helped.
It comes in waves for me. When I crossed the line from peri to post meno I was just slammed and didn’t know how to deal with it. I did a 90 degree with my diet and it evened out for about 4 years and now, it’s back. I feel like I can handle it better now though, even though I am struggling and feeling like I appear as a sweaty, crazy woman at work and out in the community. I had a bad day at Walmart yesterday and I think I made a fool of myself but, it is what it is. I can’t handle people when my cortisol is high, at all, I should not be around anyone but I have to continue living and working. I just don’t want humans anywhere near me when I feel like this, let alone humans in a crowded situation that sneeze, cough at you or fart and smell when your I line. I can’t. I refuse to use the facilities when I’m out and will wait until I get home so I can’t sip my water when out because then I’ll have to pee. Now my grandson wants to go see a fireworks display and I’m not sure that’s a good idea as I will be sitting in a crowd of thousand or more with the option of Porto- potties to use if I have to. This whole thing is not a good look, I was a friendly, warm person who was easy to talk to and now I’m just miserable and want everyone to go away. I now understand those movies set back in the 1400’s that portray the old crone leaving the castle of idiots to live in a secluded wooded area in a cottage which her cat and being perfectly happy doing so. I’m so over it.
Very funny! Thanks for the laughs 😂😛😂🤭
I totally understand. I would never spend the day in the park doing Canada day events. I hate public toilets. I go out to get food or a tea. That’s pretty much it. Hugs!❤️
Wow I’m the same way. I’m 47 in Perimenopause, but I’ve always had a fear of public toilets and like you, will not really drink when I’m out. It’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. People think
I’m crazy. I also cannot be around people that much. I look the crazy woman in the stores talking to herself about how much I hate people! 😂😂
This explains so much. I thought I was just battling depression.
I completely understand how you feel. I have no cope ability for people and / or noise. A small cabin in the middle of 100 acres sounds great to me😊
I just turned 50. I have some of these symptoms, but at least I managed to get rid of night sweats and heat waves by ditching sugar and processed foods. I just stick to proteins, veggies and good fats. I lost over 25 lbs this way. Now, of only periods would stop, that would be awesome.
Kari Anne bless your heart! ❤️ Thank you for this video! I was just in the ER the other night because I thought I was having a heart attack! 130 beats per minute & heart palpitations big time! I think I’m almost in full menopause. Why don’t doctors warn you or at least look at that as a cause? After EKG, blood draw, & chest xray I was told I was fine! I’m not fine it’s menopause! 😮Thanks for sharing this information. You are helping a lot of us ladies out! I pray for all the ladies out there suffering with these symptoms! Keep going it will get better. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘
I had the EXACT same scenario...3 weeks ago!!! I mean EXACT same as you! Even put on a heart monitor for 14 days following the ER visit. Sigh.
I just wanted to thank you for your invaluable information and your compassionate and matter-of-fact delivery of it. It seems to me that the greatest gift of all that you give is the assurance that we're not going crazy and we're not alone with our symptoms. ❤
Thank you! I’m happy my videos are valued.😊
This is why I got into intermittent fasting, it’s been the only thing that truly made a big difference.
It hasn’t done much for me. I was hoping …

@@boa1793 what are you eating in your eating window? I’m low carb, gluten free, plant based with lots of medicinal mushrooms (Lion’s mane, oyster, shiitake etc), avocados, good fats.
@@Ninsidhe, I’m pretty good. Low carbs (occasional bread a pizza crust once a month). High in vegetables. Yes on chicken, pork, fish and a little beef. Vegan, sugar free deserts sweetened with dates or bananas. Lots of nuts.
I've found my body doesn't seem to tolerate beef much anymore. Other meats I'm fine with, including poultry.
I had a heart attack as I was entering into menopause, a scads heart attack.. be careful, ladies, over exercise, stress, lack of sleep and not eating properly, combined with coming into menopause, that is a cocktail for a scads heart attack.. be careful, listen to your body!

Having heart palpitations while listening to this video. It feels like my heart is trying to escape my chest 😮

Well, this actually explains my sugar levels. My doctor wanted me to go on meds for it. Something that was recently recalled. I told her hell no. And asked her why perimenopause and menopause never came up in our conversations unless I brought it up and I noticed she always wanted to focus on something else rather than my concerns pertaining to menopause. Like I'd literally go to see her for that purpose and that purpose alone. And I thought to myself when she told me I was diabetic, she didn't know what she was talking about. I literally have none of the symptoms! All of the symptoms I experience are more related to perimenopause/menopause. Obviously, my sugar levels are elevated, but I've noticed they tend to be higher in the morning and I don't eat in the morning as I have no appetite to do so. I often have to force myself to eat something, have a smoothie or a protein shake for diabetics. I have lived with high stress and anxiety for years. It never occurred to me that high cortisol was part of the issue, though in the back of my mind I knew it. Yikes. This is a hot mess. But having this information helps a lot. My diet consists more of alkaline foods these days. Staying away from bread, sugar content, adding more leafy greens and other veggies and I have lost some weight, but my stress level is still pretty high. I try to get out into my garden daily and that often helps, but that can be stressful at times as well tending to it for this or that reason. Anyway, if I go on this will be a book. Thank you for the information. It helps and gives me a better perspective on how to take care of myself in a better and healthier way.
I’m a diabetic so I empathize.
True
Omg you explained the exact some thing I have been dealing with to😮
This is me all over and my marriage is stressful . Now I am in post menopause , I am better but not 100% . I startle easily too !
This is IT! This describes almost all of the horrible symptoms I have been experiencing in my menopausal days.
The one where I wake up feeling that awful anxiety and pounding heart thing (cortisol?), has been especially bothersome because I didn't know.
But, all the other symptoms have been there except I have lost weight instead of gained, which unless you experience it, you wouldn't realize that it's just as Heartbreaking as gaining...same issues with clothes not fitting properly, only wanting to eat sweets and packed foods that I know ate unhealthy etc.
I guess the best place for me to begin is some form of exercise, though with disc issues in my back and neck I fear causing harm in that direction as well.
Oh Lordy, help us thru menopause!
Hot flashes and cortisol/adrenaline spikes for me were blood sugar issues. Fixing my metabolism has helped. It’s a long process at my age but I sleep better and my digestion has never been better. Low carb diets make things worse. Eating enough, often enough and good carbs will balance blood sugar. Thyroid issues have improved significantly. Weight loss is usually the last piece. Our bodies need to get healthy before weight will come off. Especially at this age. Grounding, watching sunrise/sunset and getting outside is a must. Don’t give up!
Thank you for mentioning the shopping spree at the end. I get a lot of good vibes from a trip to the yarn store and coming out with a bag of something I love. Then I get to knit it into something pretty. It just makes me happy. I realized during a tough period of time that really nice yarn is about the cost of a therapist visit, and I actually enjoy it long after I bought it, so I decided just to go with it. Such a good call.
I am 47 and just skipped my first period and have been dealing with a lot of the symptoms you described. I've suffered from anxiety for most of my life but it's gotten much worse in the last couple of years. I never realized it could be related to perimenopause/menopause. This video is very helpful and I plan on following these tips. Thank you! ❤
Ovarian insufficiency can start even in worst cases in childhood so hormonal imbalances can start any age but doctors do not test us females to investigate …( mysoginistic medical world )
Hormones lack of estrogen can worsen inflammation and cause long term sickness so get a professional gynecologist and if you get HRT you will be born brand new again
Blessings sister
Gaba with L-Theanine has helped me.
I’m 61 and had an almost nonexistent menopause. Truth is I had twins thru IVF at 49. Few periods before, but after the twins - no periods. But now I’m seeing high cortisol issues. Thank you for helping me!
I'd imagine looking after twins in your 50s is enough to give anyone high cortisol 😂 Congratulations thou, what a beautiful gift to you at this time ❤❤

My worst symptoms were insomnia, night sweats, and the spare tire around my belly. The insomnia and night sweats are over with now, but the spare tire won’t go away.
I just want to say, thank you for getting straight to the point, making it a bullet point informational video without a bunch of rambling on between points, which would have driven my post menopausal mind into irritation overload and I would have choosen to not finish the video. 😄
Well I’m glad I didn’t natter on then. I sometimes do!🥴
I've suffered from high cortisol for years. I had a horrible menopause followed by several years of high stress and adrenal fatigue. I saw multiple doctors and not one told me what you just explained in eight minutes in this video. I could have been saved years of suffering. I'm now seeing a women's naturopath and we've agreed that my estrogen is just too low for me ever to live well, and have increased the (bio-identical) dose. I'm finally having some good nights' sleeps. I sure hate those night time cortisol surges!
I’m happy it was figured out and you’re sleeping better. Sleeping is a tough one for me too.
That is the worst part of menopause for me!!!! Waking up with severe anxiety!!
I use wild yam cream, it works for sleeping better en memory .
I use wild yam en that seems to help a bit,for better sleep en better memory en lesser hot flashes in the night. Nothing else helpt. This helps for me.

I love your physical drama scenes. It really helps with relating to the menopausal episodes. As someone with ADHD, it helps ALOT. So thank you.
Thankyou for talking about this and your a saint for educating women ❤ Alot of women don’t teach their daughters or discuss menopause and it’s very important to talk about.
Because I was peri-menopausal at a young age, this wasn't on my physicians' radar and they couldn't figure out what was going on with me. I was sent to multiple specialists and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia instead, when I suspect it was in reality high cortisol. The symptoms slowed once I was post-menopausal. I wish I had seen this video fifteen years ago! Maybe I could have put my physicians onto the right track.
The pandemic combined with perimenopause were disastrous for me. 4 years of constant fight or flight. Doing better now with low dose hrt. No more panic attacks
Hello... Do you mind sharing what type of low dose HRT you take.
I've been admitted to hospital twice for potential heart attack, both were extreme panic attacks. Lived through C dificile twice, etc. Hysterectomy ay 32, menopause at 50-55, at 60 started noticing severe hair loss, moodiness, intolerance to heat, and high weight gain (40 pounds) right in my tummy, I look pregnant. No HRT, I'm 63 and quit my high stress job, just couldn't do it any more. Due to my previous job, I never had time to make friends, I have no joy in my life, and no hubby or boyfriend. Think I'll just crawl into a cave and stay there.
🥺😔
Wow you have been through so much. You must be really strong.
Wish I could give you a hug!
Have you ever thought about doing something you've never done before? Like taking an interest in something completely new, or travelling to a place you've never been to or joining a group/class? Maybe this is your time to go on an adventure and find out about new things and meet new people and go to new places. Perhaps reinvent yourself and become an entirely new person that you've put together yourself without the influence of others. Have your hair cut in a style you've always loved, give yourself a makeover and throw out the things that aren't you anymore. Surprise yourself and be a rebel, age is just a number after all.
You don't have to stay in a cave.
I wish you all the best x
After watching this video, I informed my family about perimenopause and the importance of their not adding to my stress. I have not started raging yet, so I am trying to be proactive. I am just starting perimenopause and the symptoms that I have daily are insomnia, burning mouth syndrome ( hate the sour/metallic taste that affects my enjoyment of meals ), and reflux. Kari, I will watch your other videos so that I will know what other symptoms I can expect for the next few years. Thank for your informative and helpful videos. 🙏❤️🌈
Wow, I’ve actually had those morning panic attacks, just wake up suddenly, “OMG, SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN!” *shortness of breath, heart racing* That belly “spare tire”, brain fog, Insulin resistance are also major issues for me. It’s like, WHOSE BODY IS THIS I’M TRAPPED IN? Everything operates differently. Long walks REALLY help, even just constant busyness, accomplishing tasks at home and work really help the mood and burn up nervous energy.
This is exactly what I needed! I am 40 and even though some may think I’m too young…I am in peri menopause. I wake up with anxiety ever morning so bad where I’m shaking! Just a few months ago my anxiety has been out of control, it’s horrible! My sugars have been hard to control and my sleep is horrible! The hot flashes are horrible! Everything about this is horrible! And the crying. Ughhh! Anyways thank you!
40 is not too young! I’m sorry you’re struggling. Hugs!❤️
I went through menopause at 39. Never went back to normal.
My daughter is 40 and peri, doctors don’t agree, they need to go back to school.

Im turning 42 next week and i think im in peri menopause with heart palpitations daily and sore and weak muscles everywhere hip pains too and anxiety over it never had anxiety before but started almost a year ago when i went to doc's for the heart palpitations and they discovered high blood pressure and diabetes type 2 , even on blood pressure medications the heart palpitations still accure daily but not as bad as before but still not a good feeling. Going to ask my doc to check my estrogen lvls next time i talk to her.
Hi Karri Anne, I am 48 years old and I am from Trinidad and Tobago (a Caribbean island) and I am very new to your channel. I recently started to experience debilitating hot flashes and a host of other life altering symptoms. Since watching your videos, I have referred my friends to your channel as well.
Prior to watching your channel, with the exception of one of my friends who is also experiencing the same symptoms, there was no one else who could relate to any of these symptoms. Not my mother, older women, no one. Thanks to your very relatable videos I do not feel so alone anymore. Thank you for our videos. I look forward to your next posts.
Great information! Thank you!
Well summarised. Thank you! 👍
Excellent video and just what I needed needed.
Extremely helpful, thank you so much!
Excellent tips. Thank you!
Thanks kari, good advice and support . ❤
Excellent video, thank you!
Thanks for this video. The one thing that helped my meno symptoms more than anything was my diet. When I stopped eating processed foods, all ladies, and I mean all of my symptoms improved. I still have occasional night sweats but that’s about it. So if you want to avoid hormone therapy, back away from most man made foods and as Kari Anne said, eat foods that are as close to nature as possible
Agreed! I eat only whole foods! I rarely eat sugar or anything processed.
👍
Me too! I went vegetarian and cut out processed foods. I also started consuming more soy. I'm also down to a few occasional hot flashes in the evening. Everything has gotten better...and I lost 60# :)
@maryannpalermo8118 apparently Japanese women have less menopausal symptoms than Western women and the reason is thought to be soy in their diet
this is soo true as it has happened to me! high cortisol lead to anxiety panic attacks insomnia brain fog to the point where I could no longer go out on my own. suffered nearly 3 years
thanks for these reminders Kari! xo❤
Thank you Keri! ❤
This was brilliant. Bless you!
Magnesium spray on my legs helped me lately to sleep through.
Magnesium spray on my legs really help too. It calms down the twitching and moving and allows you to relax; and, if it's bedtime to fall asleep.

Great advice in this video and the comment section is fabulously entertaining!
Thank you . This has been very Enlightening and helpful
I’m crying from this video, I have all these symptoms and it’s been too long. Thanks for the info 🙏 just a small helpful tip for piece of mind. Avoid social media before bed. For me it raises my anxiety even though I don’t sleep much because I’m constantly worrying about everything. Social media can be wonderful but, also avoid traps of arguing with people over nothing. Turns out you’re not going to change their mind lol
I do notice that too much exercise can increase my anxiety and disturb my sleep, especially if I go too hard with strength training. I've had to learn to moderate. Pahla B makes fitness videos especially for women in menopause and that's a big help!
This is such a great video, so well-presented, and concise. Thanks 🙏 I’m subscribing
Hello !! Thanks so very much for sharing !! Menopause/ health issues has truly been a challenge !! 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for this information!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This makes sense to me now. The weight and stomach sensitivity, bread and pasta seems to bother me more. Sleeping issues are horrible but at least now I understand why i have this. I exercise 4 days a week and off days i have started yoga. Thank you again Kari :)
I finally have my pain in control enough to exercise again at least 4 or 5 days a week. I have very stubborn weight to take off.
Eating more fruits and vegetables and dropping most sugar has helped me to lose almost 10 pounds since Christmas. I also try to limit my negative self talk and pray to stay in the moment each day. My looking to future events causes a lot of my anxiety. As a caregiver to my mom I am still trying to find time and ways to relax every day but I do feel better than I did 6 months ago!
Same!
I’m in constant flight/flight. Just can’t seem to get out of it.

These symptoms are a reality!
Well, that explains a lot of my symptoms.
Boy I'm glad I found you.
You really did your homework.👍
Really appreciate this video!

I’m 45 and had a partial hysterectomy at 31. The rest was removed at 39. Gut issues galore including a tumor in my colon which was resectioned at 33. The weight gain, joint pain, fatigue, anxiety, etc are so bad right now. I’m actually going to my nurse practitioner today for help. Half of my thyroid is enlarged and has been for 8 years. The other half has cysts. I try to relax and stay calm but my job can stress me out and send me into a sweat frenzy. The summer heat bothers me but I can handle the cold. I will take a walk in a light blizzard and feel great. No joint pain during the cooler months. I sleep great since I had carpal tunnel surgery and had a ton of energy. Summer humidity hit and I can’t handle it.
I can’t deal with the heat either. I much prefer winter.
Great information.
I am one of those women who will have hot flashes the rest of her life, everyday all day along with every other menopausal system. I refuse to give up. I'm so thankful for this video.
It’s amazing how strong we can be when have no choice. Women are superheroes!
So helpful! Thanks, Kari! ❤
❤️
This explains so much.
I am so happy I found your channel, let's me know I'm not crazy! ❤
As someone who still sometimes is shocked that they're going through perimenopause at 41, videos like this are such a great reminder of how to adapt to these changes. It's hard when you've just gone through the majority of your 30s with nothing that looks like peri and it's symptoms, but I'm grateful for all the tips ❤
Hey sweetie, I started my change at 37 and was finished at age 40 as did My grandmother. My doctors tried to freak me out about all the awful things this meant for my body. I took birth control pills at their recommendation and this undoubtedly help me through it. One day shortly after turning 40 I decided I didn't want this drug in my system. I never had another period, hot flash or anything negative ever again and I have never taken hormnes. I don't have a beard, or osteoporosis, mood swings and my sex life was fine till I became single and generally uninterested in having others in my space all the time 😉 If you wanted more children I am sorry for you, but other than that I have been nothing but grateful for my release. I am 66 now and going strong. Don't over think it and believe in inevitabilities suggested by doctors. Listen to your body and enjoy. Just a bit of unsolicited advice but please take it in love and enjoy your good fortune.💜
I went into menopause at 46/47, no bio children and no HRT.
Im 58 and got first flash on 49th birthday. I was already have symptoms I did not know about like taking off shirt as I enter house because I was warm. Post phase and it's hard to actually see face and vulva drop. I got cream and considered HRT. Never been one concerned about superficial but knowing it going to get worse makes it worse. I remember how Mama face changed so that doesn't help. Cycle of life..we goddesses have never ending stuff. The cost of being priceless in the cycle. Males simple minded less value with freezable seed.
Ugh! I’m 35; I have MS and Hashimotos
I had my last period at 43! Welcome to menopause! 🎉
Thanks for another very helpful , detailed and informative video on this new phase of our lives ...we are not alone guys..
This makes a lot of sense.
❤🌹thank you your the only one that has spoke any sense and made it clear x💪💪💝
I just want to say thank you to you notbonly for the information, but also for the smile that you put on my face, you are a funny lady! I love your sence of humour.
Thank you for this video.
Ugh I’ve had all of these but I will say my anxiety has gotten better, ( post menopause 5+ yrs) it’s still there but not as often, but everything you’ve mentioned is important.. now if only my stomach issues/Ibs wd go away. Thank you for all of your research and sharing of your knowledge ❤ I’m going to start a pre/probiotic Garden of Life and see how it works
Thank You for the information
Learning about the concept of “perceived stress” was a game changer for me!
Thank you for information that I didn't know I needed, but needed desperately! I'm so glad I found this channel!!! For the anxiety issue I've started taking 10 minute breaks through the day (I set the alarm on my phone so I don't worry that I'll be late for something or run behind)to pray and be thankful also to slow down and just do some deep breathing. Hard to slow down and feel less anxious, but I'm working on it.
You are a Godsend! Thank you so much for these messages of knowledge and instruction. I just became a subscriber. I have only seen two of your videos and as a retired RN, I’ve learned things from you that I may have know when I was younger but didn’t give the attention to those things they deserved. You have a very calming way of speaking in a way that all people can identify with you and trust what you are telling us. Your animation of those pesky symptoms are adorable and make you relatable. I wish you blessings. And keep on doing what you do!! ❤
Oh my this is exactly my problem! It wakes me up all night long 😢 Thanks for your insight.
One thing that helps for me is making sure to do the Wim Hof method as close to daily as I can. This consists of a short round of breathing exercises and a cold shower. I HATED doing each of these things at first, but heard about their potential health benefits and had to try. I did it for about a year when I stopped for a week and noticed I was getting those inexplicable anxieties again. I didn’t really realize they had been gone until then, then when I started doing my breathing and cold showering again, they went away. Now they are super mild and I don’t feel like there is something devastatingly wrong that I can’t identify. Thanks to this video and the comments section, I now know that I have not been going crazy or getting dementia for the first time in the 11 years I have been going through this. There is a LOT of information on the Wim Hof method all over UA-cam if you are interested in trying it out or learning more. I always knew women were strong, but holy schnikes we are some tough mf’ers!!! I am so proud to be a woman ❤
I ❤ your channel. Especially when I need reassurance that I’m not alone. Thank you!
I was waking to panic attacks every am, my gyno of 20 years didn’t tell me it could be related to menopause and cortisol, estrogen. Very frustrating. I sought out a BHRT provider, gone, as were the night sweats, my only remaining issues are thin hair, and belly fat. Women have to advocate hard for their health.
Thanks for another informative helpful my friend!
🥰❤️
Kari Anne ❤❤❤❤ you are Heaven sent 😊 Thank you so much for taking the time out to educate us...I have learnt so much watching the videos! Much appreciated 🙏 ❤
You are so funny. This was great teaching, and the short videos made it memorable. Thanks so much.
I love the skits you've done in this video. Thank you for the info this was a great video.
Thank you.😊
Absolutely love the little illustrative videos. They're so realistic!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for this❤
I just scrolled on to your channel and I had to watch it a few times because I was laughing soo hard at your dramatizations, you're really funny so I think I lowered my cortisol by finding you, lol, My sleep is screwed, and I'd over exert myself in the gym but that didn't work and I didn't get it, until now, so I know about High Cortisol levels and how it affects sleep in a very bad way, I'm working on it finally with meditation, fermentation, and prayers...New sub🙏🏽
I’m happy I could help lower your cortisol.😂
Thank you for explaining some things, and helping me to hate myself a little less. This information was sooooo valuable! (54 f haven't had a period In 7 months).
I’m a new subscriber and I can’t tell you how much your channel has given me insightful information! I’ve even sent some of your videos to my husband so he knows why these things are happening and that I’m not completely insane. 🤪Thank you soooo much for all you are doing to help women understand what’s going on with our bodies. It’s brutal and no one talks about it!
At the beginning-ish of "my journey", I got my first puppies. Two German Shepherds. They are very forgiving when my inner witch gets loose. We take walks, they tell excellent jokes, and we all work not to gain weight. (I joined nutrisystem and lost 45 pounds which has helped TREMENDOUSLY) My biggest tactic to deal with that anxiety is wait 20 minutes - it usually passes. If not, I play a game on my phone. Switching the channel in the brain isn't always simple but it sure is empowering once you find a good "remote". So glad your channel was suggested!
My high stress job starts early in the morning and this explains so much. I thought it was just bad sleep and depression. But lately my blood sugar has skyrocketed after COVID.
Hi. I have menopause at 27 years old. Now I'm 47. And i love your Chanel. Thank you! The information you provide gives me understanding. Now i have and explanation for so many things.
