nice how too. Always used back up tethers but the new gopro 8 doesn’t use a housing, it has built in mount wings that flip down. They look cheap as hell and finding a different tether point is tough. wonder if the 8 would fit in a 7’s housing... good work wade.
It would be nice if they just added a simple tie-down point on the housing itself. Pretty much any use of this camera you're going to want to secure it.
What’s the the tool you used for tightening the go pro screw? Looked really handy as you said can never tighten as much as wanted with fingers
Yeah I use this thing a lot here’s a link amzn.to/3ikB0G6
And another option I had been using that works also are the wing type ones amzn.to/3GqOFmW
good one mate, thank you, was trying to capture some water stuff and was afraid to loose the camera without even noticing

I like how the fishing lines makes it invisible compared to paracord.

It won’t fit in the 7’s housing. They made them different sizes so everything you already previously owned won’t work.
That’s right it has those little flip down legs on the GP 8 that was something else they did I did not like.

Any new thoughts now on securing an 8?
