Thanks Scot. Your prob right, but not sure I’m following exactly where you are suggesting attaching the tether to the screw. One reason I liked attaching to camera itself is that if the mount itself breaks from an impact, the tether is still attached. 🤷🏼♂️

Hey Kevin, look up “high torque GoPro screws” I think a company called gopole made them but they have a wing so you don’t need a tool

@@kevinhill.8 very similar. Gopole’s were discontinued but only had 1 fin instead of two. Better than carrying a key though
Instead of attaching the tether to the gopro feet, why not just loop it through the mount's attachment screw? Seems less of a hassle.
