I had a melanistic german shepherd, (all black) named Sam. He was my baby, my pride and joy, and he was perfect. Perfect recall, perfect outs, perfect command obedience, his heel was on point, and i trained him myself, with the help of your channel and a couple others

Could feel the pain when you talked about Falko. Sorry my man. Thanks for another great video though, I've been taking the knowledge to heart. Been crating my Shep which I think is bi color, so he isn't playing all day with my other dog (collie) and your advice helped for sure. He responds much better now, comes to me when they are playing hardcore. Runs right over. It is a great feeling

I love German Shepards. I also grew up with one. His name was Kanga. It always amazes me how they are so smart and loyal. We now have a brown working Lab. She’s 15 and is still very energetic, my husband would say crazy.

I parted ways with my GSD Kemper last week. He was a Black and Silver, amazingly beautiful dog and super smart. It was almost like he knew what I was going to do before I did it - he was that tuned in to me. He taught me so much about loyalty and dedication. He set the bar pretty dang high and left some big paws to be filled.
Thank you for these videos. I'm absorbing as much info as I can to do as much as I can for my next GSD.

Interesting regarding all those colours. However two of them are not allowed in Germany as a breed standard, white and anything with too much much white markings, thus Panda would be a no-no as well.

I know this is an older video, but I just found you and your channel about a week ago. I had to subscribe once I saw your training methods. I used to train bird dogs and squirrel hunting dogs and I had a German Shepherd that I bought from a Policeman friend K9 officer at the time. That HSD could read my mind I swear. His name was Rommel and he was the smartest dog I've ever worked with. He just wanted to work for me and make sure Zi was safe. People that have never owned a properly trained GSD have no idea how smart they are..
I wish I would have had an E collar.
Where do you sell your e collars and leashes, etc? Dogs?
Best regards and God bless. ❤. God speed on your business. You deserve great profits because of your hard work. ❤

I have a 6 months old German Australian Shepard so I've been told, I had no clue about the energy level of both breeds of dogs lol, I just took her in because some lady was giving them away and was being fed human baby food. I was just wondering if anyone knew how hard this breed of dog is to train. She seems to pick up on basic commands easily, took me just a few days for that. But now I'm working with her on her leash. I'm not a dog trainer just can't afford professional training so I'm trying to do it myself

My challenge is to get him to STOP coming to me.
      I haven't peed alone in 9 months.

We had 2 Sheps. First a girl from a shelter at the age of 7 approximately. She didnt really had an guard instinct, came from an old lady. But she hated small dogs.
Second Shep after she passed was a boy, also from a shelter. He was all black colored and came from a farm. He was more chill with other dogs, but he truly had an eye on everyone walking in front of the house.
They both we're completely gentle to our cat's and even to our guinea pigs and rabits.
Just can recommend getting a sheppy friend.
